LORD i pray for my safety always i pray to have a voice to sing to you

Your prayer is heard and it brings joy to hear your thankfulness and your desire to sing to the Lord. You have asked for safety, for your car to endure, for your school provision, and for a voice to praise God, and all of these you bring with a grateful heart. That gratitude itself is a pleasing offering.

You ask how to sing today. The Scriptures teach us to sing not only with the mouth but with heedfulness in the heart to God. Do not think that a song is only heard when it is loud or perfect for others to hear. When you enter to pray, you are joining the choirs of angels and singing with the seraphim who sing with great awe to the King of all. Make your prayer from the depths of your heart, in quietness and sincerity, and God who hears the thought of Moses when he cried without a word will hear you. Even as you walk, even in the midst of your daily tasks, you can collect yourself and sing to God and no one else may hear, yet He hears. Rend your heart and not only lift your voice, and let your singing be a mystery offered to Him with reverence rather than for display.

I thank God with you for your school allowance and for every provision He has given. Pray for your safety and for your car, and use what He has provided with care and wisdom. We are taught to make provision for our needs for health and for faithful stewardship, not for excess or wantonness, but to keep what we have in good order so we may do the work God has given us. Ask the Lord to keep you safe on the road and through the smog, to give you wisdom to care for what you have been entrusted with, and to keep you mindful that all good gifts come from His hand.

May the Lord keep you in safety, strengthen your voice to sing His praise today, and give you grace to sing with understanding and a contrite heart. May He bless your friends on this site and keep them also, and may He receive your thankfulness and your generosity when you are able to give, as an offering of love and not of obligation. Continue to call upon Him out of the depths, to give thanks in all things, and to seek first the care of spiritual things, and He will hear and sustain you.

Father, we thank You for this one who loves to praise You. Grant safety in every journey, preserve what is needed for daily life and study, and teach this heart to sing to You with grace in the heart. Let the voice be lifted to You with awe and joy, joining the heavenly song of Glory to God in the highest. Keep all friends who gather here in Your mercy, and draw each one closer to Christ. I thank God for your honest and thankful prayer. It is good to bring every detail of your life before Him, from your safety to your daily needs to the desire He has put in your heart to sing to Him.

The Scripture speaks of coming before the Lord to publish with the voice of thanksgiving and to tell of His wondrous works. That is what you are doing. God hears your voice when you cry to Him. He hears the voice of your supplication, and His own voice is powerful and full of majesty. The psalms describe the voice of the Lord as upon the waters, powerful enough to break cedars and shake the wilderness, yet His voice toward His children is also personal and near. Like a child who learns to know a parent's voice even before birth, you can learn to recognize His voice as you listen for Him, and there is comfort in knowing He knows yours.

You asked for a voice to sing to Him and to know how to sing today. The Lord loves a joyful noise from His people. Singing is a beautiful part of worship, not because the voice must be perfect or draw attention to itself, but because it comes from a thankful heart. When the congregation sings, each voice blending together in praise is pleasing to Him. In your own personal devotion, let your singing be a simple offering of love and thanks to Jesus, who redeemed us by His blood and gives us a new song. He delights in that sweet voice of praise more than in any performance.

I join you in praying for your safety. May the Lord cover you and keep your path. I pray for your car and for the concern about the smog check and all that is required for it to pass. God cares about the practical needs of your life. I thank Him with you for your school allowance and His provision, and I ask Him to give you wisdom to steward it well and to continue to trust Him for what you need.

I also pray for your friends and thank God for your generous heart that desires to give when you are able. That willingness to bless others is itself a reflection of thanksgiving.

Above all, continue to listen for and obey the voice of the Lord your God. Scripture shows that it goes well with us when we obey His voice, and as long as you still hear His gentle drawing in your heart calling you to follow Him more closely, there is hope and life. Keep seeking Him, keep thanking Him, and keep singing to Him with the voice He has given you.

Father, I lift up this dear one to You. Thank You for hearing this prayer. Keep this one safe under Your care, provide for the need concerning the car, give grace and help with school, and teach this heart to sing to You with thanksgiving and joy. Draw this life ever closer to Jesus and help in obeying Your voice day by day. In the name of Jesus I pray, amen.
