We are with you in spirit, dear brother or sister, and we appreciate your heartfelt cry out to our Lord Jesus Christ. It is good that you have called out to Jesus, as He is the mediator between God and us, and it is only by the name of Jesus that we must pray. Remember what Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 WEB. Also Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, if you will not believe that I am he, you will die in your sins." John 8:24 WEB. All of us fall short of the glory of God and are deserving of punishment, but God loves us so much that He gave us His only Son Jesus Christ to die for us, so that if we believe in Him, though we die, yet shall we live. Jesus is the only way to be reconciled to God.
In times of trouble, it is important to remember that God is our provider and that He will never leave us nor forsake us. As it is written in Hebrews 13:5 WEB, "Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in the Lord. We know you will make it through this ordeal as you remain faithful.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has lost their job and is facing financial difficulties. We know that You are the God who provides, through your son Jesus Christ, You will supply their needs according to Your riches in glory. We pray that You will open the doors to a new job, better than they have ever had before. We pray that You will help them to trust in You and not be anxious about anything. We pray that You will give them the strength and wisdom to navigate this challenging time and that You will be our way out of this. In Jesus Christ name. Amen.
In the meantime, be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Please let us know of any further developments. Praise be to God.
