We hear the weariness and fear in your cry and we stand with you together before Almighty God seeking His protection and peace in Jesus name. You have been drained, threatened and manipulated by wicked people, and you are tired and weak and fearful for yourself and for your family. Know that God sees you and He is not distant from your suffering. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 34:17-18 says The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
We want to gently speak to something important in your prayer. You cried out to Lord and Almighty God, yet you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus Christ, we encourage you to believe in your heart that He died for your sins and rose again and confess Him as Lord, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name that we can boldly come to God for help and protection.
We understand your desire for these scammers to be disturbed and to leave you alone, and God does hate wickedness and oppression. At the same time scripture teaches us to leave vengeance in His hands while we seek His justice and protection. Romans 12:19 says Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. We can trust God to deal justly with those who do evil, and we can also pray that they would be stopped and even come to repentance. Isaiah 54:17 gives us this promise, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. Proverbs 18:10 says The name of Yahweh is a strong tower, the righteous run to it, and are safe.
God does not want you to live in fear. 2 Timothy 1:7 says For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. That peace is what you are longing for and God wants to give it to you.
We also encourage you to take practical steps while you trust God for protection. God has established authorities for our protection, so we urge you to report these threats and scams to local law enforcement, to your bank or financial institutions to protect what remains, and to change phone numbers, emails or accounts if needed. Keep records of threats and do not engage further with these people. Share what is happening with trusted family, a pastor or a godly counselor so you are not carrying this alone. Matthew 11:28 says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who is exhausted, weak and afraid. We ask You to be their refuge and fortress, their strong tower. Psalm 91:1-2 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Lord, cover this person and their family with Your wings, guard them from the evil one, and let no weapon formed against them prevail. We ask You to stop the wicked schemes of these scammers, to expose their deeds and to cause them to leave Your child alone. Bring justice through the proper authorities and put a hedge of protection around this family. Replace fear with Your perfect peace and power and love and self control. Provide for their financial needs according to Your riches, for Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Give them wisdom for every next step, rest for their soul, and the assurance that You are with them and will never forsake them. Draw them close to Jesus, and if they have not yet trusted Him fully, lead them to salvation through Him today. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our defender, Amen.
