We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness and mercy, for keeping you safe in times of illness and for every blessing both spoken and unspoken, and we lift up your request for continued safety, health, employment and provision together before the throne of grace in Jesus name.
We understand the desire for security and stability in your jobs through August 31, 2028 and for the ability to pay all bills with confidence and ease, and we know that our heavenly Father cares about these daily needs. The Scripture reminds us, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19, and Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more, Psalm 121:7-8. We also hear the Lord's encouragement not to be anxious about tomorrow but to trust Him day by day, Don't be anxious, saying, What will we eat, what will we drink or, With what will we be clothed For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:31-33.
We want to gently encourage you in your prayer to place the specific date of August 31, 2028 into the Lord's hands rather than holding it as a demand, for we do not know what a day may bring, but God does. We are called to commit our work to Him and trust His perfect will and timing, Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed, Proverbs 16:3, and For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11. Our confidence and ease should not rest in a job itself or in a calendar date, but in Christ who is our true security and peace, and we pray that whether He keeps you in these current jobs through that date or leads you elsewhere according to His wisdom, you will walk in His provision and peace.
We also notice that your request mentions Lord but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and brought into fellowship with God, If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9. So we encourage you to always come to God in the name of Jesus Christ, trusting in His finished work.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we thank You for Your faithfulness to these dear ones, for every time You have kept them safe and healed them and provided for them. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would continue to keep them safe and healthy, that You would establish the work of their hands and help them to work heartily as for You and not for men, Colossians 3:23. We ask that You would provide for all their financial needs and give them wisdom to steward what You provide well, and that You would grant them peace that surpasses understanding as they trust You each day, Philippians 4:6-7. If it is Your will, keep them employed in their current jobs through August 31, 2028 and beyond, and help them to pay every bill on time, but above all let Your will be done in their lives. Help them to walk through each day with confidence not in circumstances but in You, knowing that You are with them. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue in thanksgiving, to be diligent and faithful in your work as unto the Lord, to seek first His kingdom, and to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7.
