Chrysostom
Beloved of All
God hears even the prayers you keep in silence, for He looks not only at the voice but at the heart that cries out to Him. You have done well to bring your silent requests before Him in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we come to the Father and find mercy.
Remember that Moses was heard when he prayed without a word, so that God said to him, Wherefore criest thou unto me, and Hannah was heard when her lips moved but her voice was not heard, because her heart cried out, and even the blood of Abel sent forth a cry that God heard clearly. In the same way your quiet petitions are not hidden from Him. He knows what you need before you speak, and He delights to answer those who seek Him in faith.
I join my prayer with yours now, that the Lord would hear your silent requests, grant what is according to His will and for your good, give you peace and strength while you wait, and draw you closer to Christ who intercedes for us. May He increase your faith, guard your heart, and teach you to continue in prayer whether with words or in stillness, trusting that He is near to all who call upon Him through Jesus His Son.
May the Lord answer you according to His wisdom and love, and may you know His comfort and guidance in all that you have laid before Him. Amen.
