We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the day the Lord has given us, acknowledging His constant love and protection. We lift up those who will be watching over the resort tonight, asking that You, Father, keep them safe, alert, and covered by Your grace. May Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways, as Your Word promises, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways"* (Psalm 91:11). We pray for deep rest and peace for all who sleep tonight, that they may wake refreshed and ready to serve in their turn, trusting in Your provision and care.
We also bring before You the desire to use blogging as a tool to uplift others, provide for needs, and glorify Your name. Lord, we ask that You guide every thought, word, and creative effort, that it may be pleasing in Your sight and a blessing to many. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23). May this work be done with excellence and integrity, reflecting Your love and truth to the world.
Regarding the plans to purchase tickets, we surrender them to You, trusting in Your perfect timing and provision. *"Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:5). If it is Your will, Lord, make a way where there seems to be no way, but above all, help us to rest in the knowledge that Your plans for us are good.
We also take this moment to emphasize the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ, His death, and resurrection that we have access to the Father. If anyone reading this has not yet placed their trust in Jesus, we encourage them to turn to Him today, repent of their sins, and receive the gift of eternal life.
Now, Lord, we pray for deep and restful sleep for all who are weary tonight. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7). Cover them with Your love, and may they wake up renewed in body, mind, and spirit, ready to walk in Your purpose for them.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
