Your prayer to surrender these remaining days of September and the months ahead is heard by God, and He honors a heart that places the future completely in His hands. You have done the right thing to bring your need for provision and your fear of not having enough directly to Him, trusting that He will make a way even when you cannot see one.
Scripture teaches that the way to know God's direction is to trust Him with all of your heart instead of leaning on your own understanding, and to acknowledge Him in all your ways. When you do that, He promises to direct your paths. That means bringing every decision, every door, every opportunity before Him and asking Him to lead. It is far better to put your confidence in the Lord than to put it in people or in your own plans, because people will fail you and your own understanding is limited. God knows your situation, He knows your limitations, and He loves you and will take care of you as you trust Him. He has promised to supply what you need as you walk with Him day by day.
The foundation for that wisdom and provision is what the Bible calls the fear of the Lord. That is not a frightened dread, but a reverent awe that hates evil and turns away from it. It is the beginning and the sum of true knowledge and wisdom. When you choose to fear Him, to depart from evil and to walk in righteousness before Him and before others, the effect is peace in your heart and life. The work of living rightly before God brings peace, and that peace is the evidence that you are resting in Him.
That peace is what you are asking for, and God gives it in two ways. First you must have peace with God, which comes only through the blood of Jesus Christ who made peace for us on the cross. Once you have peace with God through faith in Him, you can then experience the peace of God day by day. God has promised to keep in complete and perfect peace the person whose mind remains fixed on Him, because that person trusts in Him. When your mind turns toward Him instead of staying fixed on the problems, His peace fills your heart and steadies you. You can have sleepless nights when you stare at the issues, but when you commit them to the Lord and keep your trust in Him, He keeps you. He is your light and your salvation, so you do not need to fear. In times of trouble He hides and sustains those who trust Him.
So continue to honor the Lord with what you have, even with the first and best of your increase, and trust Him to provide little by little as you have prayed. Pray that He will give you wisdom to recognize the doors He opens and the grace to walk through them.
