So Nebuzaradan the commander of the guard, Nebushazban a chief officer, Nergal-Sharezer a high official and all the other officers of the king of Babylon

A Prayer of Trust and Deliverance:
Our prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that Your eyes are always on Your people, and You know how to shield us even when the world around us is shaken. Just as You moved the hearts of foreign leaders to look after Jeremiah and keep him safe from harm, we ask that You watch over us and our loved ones today.
LORD God, when we face difficult seasons, uncertainty, or times of desolation, remind us that we are never forgotten. Grant us the humility to accept help when You send it, the courage to stand firm in Your truth, and the peace of knowing that our life is held safely in Your hands.
Thank You for being our strong defender and our deliverer. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We join with you in this beautiful prayer of trust and deliverance and we thank you for sharing it with us. We are encouraged by how you have brought us to Jeremiah 39:13 and the reminder that even in the midst of judgment and desolation, God did not forget His servant.

When Jerusalem fell and all seemed lost, the Lord sovereignly moved the hearts of pagan officers to protect Jeremiah. So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard sent, and Nebushazban, Rabsaris, and Nergal Sharezer, Rabmag, and all the chief officers of the king of Babylon Jeremiah 39:13. What the world meant for destruction, God used for deliverance. This shows us that no season is so dark and no power is so great that it can stay the hand of our God, for The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires Proverbs 21:1.

We love your prayer that the Lord would remind us we are never forgotten in difficult seasons and times of uncertainty. That is the truth of Scripture. God says, Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands Isaiah 49:15-16. He also promises Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you Deuteronomy 31:6 and Fear not, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We also rejoice that you have lifted up Jesus as the Bread of Heaven and the Word of Life, for In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God John 1:1 and His name is called The Word of God Revelation 19:13. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we can come boldly to the throne of grace.

We pray together with you now.

Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are our strong defender and our deliverer. Thank You that Your eyes are always on Your people and that You know how to shield us even when the world around us is shaken. We thank You that You hold our lives safely in Your hands and that no one can snatch us from Your care. Lord, when we face difficult seasons, uncertainty, or desolation, remind us that we are engraved on Your palms and never forgotten. Grant us humility to receive the help You send, courage to stand firm in Your truth, and the peace that passes all understanding as we trust in Jesus, Your living Word. Keep us and our loved ones under the shadow of Your wings, and let us find refuge in You, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. We trust that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose Romans 8:28. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We were grateful to read your prayer for those walking through uncertainty and seasons of desolation. You put into words what so many carry quietly, that deep need to know we are not forgotten when life feels shaken.

It is hard when the path runs through confusion or loss. That does not mean you have been overlooked. We take comfort with you that God sees His people and holds our lives in His hands even when we cannot steady ourselves. That humility to receive help when He sends it, and the courage to keep standing in His truth one day at a time, often grows slowly.

If this is a heavy season for you personally, it can help to let one trusted person know how you are really doing this week, a pastor, friend or family member who can pray with you and check in. You do not have to carry uncertainty alone, and God often cares for us through the people He places nearby. We are praying with you for a steady sense of His nearness in the days ahead.

Father, thank You that Your eyes are on Your people and You do not forget us. When we feel uncertain or desolate, remind us that we are seen and held by You. Give us humility to accept help, courage to remain faithful, and peace in knowing our lives are safe in Your hands. Watch over us and those we love today. In Jesus' name, Amen.

It is a good and faithful prayer you have offered, and it lays hold upon a sure truth of God, that His eyes are ever upon His people and His hand is never shortened that it cannot deliver.

You have done well to remember Jeremiah in the hands of the Babylonians. The Lord who rules in heaven can move the hearts of kings and of foreign officers, even of those who know Him not, to be instruments of His mercy toward His servants. When Nebuzaradan and the princes of Babylon were commanded to look well to the prophet and do him no harm, it was the Lord's doing and marvelous in our eyes. He who delivered Jeremiah from the dungeon and from the desolation of Jerusalem is the same God who watches over you and your loved ones this day. Your way may be in the sea and your path in the great waters and His footsteps may not be known, yet His way is in holiness and His purpose shall stand.

Do not heed the suggestion of the enemy that God has forsaken you. That arrow is dipped in deadly poison, and it is often shot in seasons of desolation and uncertainty. But each sweet Ebenezer you have in review confirms His good pleasure to help you quite through. He would not have done so much for you if He meant to leave you now. He who has been with you in six troubles will not leave you in the seventh. You are not forgotten. You are chosen in the furnace of affliction, and there it is that many a precious truth shines most brightly which could scarcely be seen in prosperity.

May the Lord grant you the humility to receive help when He sends it by His own appointed means, the courage to stand firm in His truth when the world around you is shaken, and the deep peace of knowing that your life is hid with Christ in God. He that looketh to God in the face every morning need not fear the face of man, and he who commits his soul to Christ each evening may close his eyes in sweet repose.

He is your strong defender and your deliverer. He brought forth His people of old out of cruel captivity with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and not one of them was left behind, for His covenant and His faithfulness cannot fail. So shall He keep all who trust in the blood and righteousness of Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

May He raise you up and make you to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, and bring you forth from every trial with a song of deliverance upon your lips, to the praise of His grace. In Jesus name, Amen.
