LORD God, thank You for listening to us in our deepest pain. When we feel weak and overwhelmed by tears, You do not look away.

Bread of Heaven/Word of Life/ Jesus is the word of God:

Psalm 6:8 :
Away from me, all you who do evil, for the LORD has heard my weeping.

A Prayer Inspired by Psalm 6:8:
Our prayer:
LORD God, thank You for listening to us in our deepest pain. When we feel weak and overwhelmed by tears, You do not look away. Give us the strength to turn away from evil influences and the confidence to stand firm in Your peace. Amen.

We join with you in thanking our LORD God for hearing us in our deepest pain and we rejoice with you in the truth of Psalm 6:8, Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for Yahweh has heard the voice of my weeping.

It is a great comfort to know that when we feel weak and overwhelmed by tears, He does not look away. His word assures us that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18 and that You put my tears into your bottle. Aren't they in your book Psalm 56:8. He not only hears our weeping, He treasures it and He answers with His peace.

You asked about the Bread of Heaven and the Word of Life and whether Jesus is the Word of God, and we affirm with scripture that He is. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God John 1:1 and The Word became flesh, and lived among us John 1:14. He is also called The Word of God Revelation 19:13 and He declared of Himself, I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry John 6:35. Jesus is not merely a messenger of the Word, He is the living Word, the Bread from heaven who sustains us.

We also want to gently encourage you concerning prayer, for we approach the Father only through His Son. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus Christ and calling on His name that we have confidence that God hears us, and we rejoice that you have lifted up the name of Jesus as the Word of God.

We take your prayer to heart and we pray together with you now.

Father, we thank You together for listening to us in our deepest pain. Thank You that You do not look away when we are weak and overwhelmed by tears, but You hear the voice of our weeping. We ask You to give us strength to depart from all workers of iniquity and to turn away from every evil influence that would lead us from Your path. Fill us with the confidence that comes from Your presence and guard our hearts and minds with Your peace which surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7. Nourish us daily with Your Son, our Bread of Heaven and Your living Word, that we may stand firm in You. We pray all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and our access to Your throne, amen.

Thank you for sharing this prayer with us. We were moved by the way you name both the tears and the thankfulness together, the honesty that God sees you when you feel weak and overwhelmed, and does not turn away.

We join you in that thanksgiving. It is a gift to notice that He listens in our deepest pain and to give Him thanks for it. That kind of gratitude often becomes an anchor, helping us remember on harder days what is still true.

We also appreciate how you asked for strength to step away from what harms and to rest in His peace. It is good to keep bringing that request to Him honestly, day by day.

If it helps, you might keep this same simple prayer nearby this week, on a card or on your phone, and speak it again whenever weariness rises. Saying it out loud again can be a quiet way to return to His presence, and sharing that gratitude with one other person can encourage both of you.

Father, we thank You for hearing our weeping and for staying near when we feel weak. Thank You for Your steady peace. Give us wisdom to turn from what harms us and confidence to rest in You today. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a precious truth you have laid hold upon, that the Lord has heard your weeping. The Psalmist could say with confidence, Away from me, all you who do evil, for the Lord has heard my weeping, and so may you. When heart and flesh fail, when tears overwhelm and weakness seems to master you, God does not look away. As one who sees our whole life at a single glance, He beholds your sorrow and He hears the voice of your supplication.

You pray for strength to turn away from evil influences, and this is a wise prayer. You can turn from outward sins in part, but to be turned from wicked thoughts and an evil nature you will need to look to a stronger arm and a mightier power than your own. The Lord will give strength unto His people, and then He will bless His people with peace. Ask Him for that strength, and He will not set you the task and refuse you His assistance in performing it. Trust the Father, rest in Christ, yield to the Holy Spirit, and you shall have the peace that God gives.

There are two kinds of peace set before us. There is a false peace which lulls the soul to sleep while sin remains unforsaken, a peace which will prove deceptive in the present and ruinous in the future. From such peace may God deliver you. And there is the peace of God, which comes by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone. It is a filling peace, a peace in believing, which keeps the heart and mind today and forever. When you stay your mind upon God and rest wholly upon Christ who suffered for you, the Immaculate One afflicted in your place, you will find that faith brings peace with God and the quiet confidence that all things work together for good to them that love Him.

Therefore take your comfort not from the words of men, which often fail, but from the Word of God which quickens you. Remember His name in the night and keep His law, for the Scriptures were written that through patience and comfort you might have hope. The God of patience and comfort will fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

May the Lord grant you this in full measure. May He hear your weeping, give you strength to depart from every evil way, and keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed on Him.

We join our prayer with yours, that the Lord who has heard your tears will now establish your feet in His way and bless you with the peace which passes all understanding through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer reflects the very heart of Psalm 6:8, where David declares that the Lord has heard the voice of his weeping. God does not turn away when you are weak and overwhelmed by tears. He hears, He listens, and He draws near to those who call on Him with a sincere heart.

Scripture teaches that Jesus Himself is the Word of God and the Bread of Heaven who gives life. It is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and find peace.

You asked about tears and turning from evil, and this is where Scripture gives us great wisdom. Tears are not useless and they are not a sign that God has abandoned you. When tears flow from repentance and from honest prayer, they water the soul. They are not painful in the way worldly sorrow is painful. Godly tears become the beginning of lasting joy, because they soften the heart, lead us to turn from sin, and draw us toward Christ. The psalmist shows this when he says away from me, all you who do evil. Having been heard by God, he finds strength to separate himself from what is evil and to stand firm.

So your prayer to have strength to turn away from evil influences and to stand firm in His peace is a good and biblical prayer. God hears that prayer. He is the one who creates a clean heart within us and makes us pure in heart so that we can walk with Him. Do not use tears only for earthly losses or disappointments, but bring them to God in prayer, in confession of sin, and in love for others who are still lost. Those are tears of heavenly wisdom, and God treasures them. They quench the fiery attacks of the enemy and plant faith more deeply in you.

Be confident then that the Lord who heard David hears you now. Keep turning from what is evil, keep seeking Christ daily in His Word, and keep asking for His peace. He is faithful to give grace that is sufficient for you in weakness, and to establish you in that peace which holds firm even when tears flow. May the Lord strengthen you to walk in holiness and to rest fully in the comfort and hope that comes through Jesus Christ alone.
