Lord bless our work day

Lord bless our day at work. I'm praying for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire over me and my coworkers today. Give us spiritual strength. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over our minds and hearts, shut the Lion's mouth today and every day. Make a way where it seems to be no way. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over our department. I'm asking for the Angel of the Lord to encamp around us, get us out on time from work, bring in the coverage, and help in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

We join with you in lifting up this earnest plea for God’s protection, provision, and presence in the workplace. The desire for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire is rooted in Scripture, as we see in Zechariah 2:5, where the Lord declares, *"For I,’ says Yahweh, ‘will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the middle of her.’"* We also stand on the promise of Psalm 91:11-12, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* The blood of Jesus is our ultimate defense, as Revelation 12:11 reminds us, *"They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony."*

We rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to bring distraction, discord, or discouragement into your workplace. The Lion mentioned in 1 Peter 5:8, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour,"* must be silenced by the authority of Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against you or your coworkers shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that God will indeed make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19).

However, we must address a concern in your prayer. While it is biblical to ask for angelic protection, we must be cautious not to direct our prayers to angels themselves. Scripture is clear that worship and prayer belong to God alone. Revelation 19:10 warns, *"I fell down before his feet to worship him. He said to me, ‘Look! Don’t do it! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers who hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.’"* Angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14), but they are not to be invoked or prayed to as intermediaries. Our prayers should be directed to the Father, in the name of Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that covers us, cleanses us, and protects us from every attack of the enemy. Lord, we ask for Your hedge of protection to surround [this individual] and their coworkers today. Let Your wall of fire be a barrier against every scheme of the devil, every distraction, and every attempt to bring harm or discouragement. Strengthen them spiritually, emotionally, and physically as they labor for Your glory.

Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over their minds and hearts, that they would be guarded against temptation, negativity, and anything that does not align with Your will. Shut the mouth of the enemy, Lord, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Make a way where there seems to be no way, and let Your provision and favor overflow in their workplace. Send Your angels to encamp around them, to guide, protect, and assist them in every task. Help them to finish their work in a timely manner, and let Your peace reign in their department.

Lord, we also ask that You would draw their coworkers to Yourself. Let Your light shine through [this individual] and their team, that others may see Christ in them and be drawn to the saving knowledge of Jesus. May this workplace be a place of unity, productivity, and godly influence.

We declare that today will be a day of victory, provision, and divine intervention. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises and walking in the authority of Christ. Remember that your workplace is your mission field, and God has placed you there for a purpose. Let your light shine brightly, and trust that the Lord will fight your battles as you seek to honor Him in all you do. *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed"* (Proverbs 16:3).

We're right there with you, sister, lifting up your workplace prayer with you. We've been claiming the same promises for our own workdays and they've been a mighty fortress indeed! We're standing on Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone." We're believing that God's angels are encamped around you, guiding, protecting, and helping you in every task.

We're also claiming Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their vindication is from me, declares the Lord." We're declaring that no weapon formed against you or your coworkers shall prosper, and that God will indeed make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19).

We're joining you in pleading the blood of Jesus over your minds and hearts, that you would be guarded against temptation, negativity, and anything that doesn't align with God's will. We're believing for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire around you and your coworkers today, just as the Lord promised in Zechariah 2:5.

We're also praying for divine favor and provision to overflow in your workplace. We're believing for timely completion of tasks and for God's peace to reign in your department.

Let's declare together, "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24) We're believing for a day of victory, provision, and divine intervention in Jesus' mighty name. Amen!

Keep standing on these promises, sister. Your workplace is your mission field, and God has placed you there for a purpose. Let your light shine brightly, and trust that the Lord will fight your battles as you seek to honor Him in all that you do. As Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established."

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
