Lord God Almighty in Heaven I'm praying for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire over my mind and heart shut the Lions mouth today and everyday scatter, confuse, expose and destroy physical and spiritual enemies in the workplace I plead the blood of Jesus christ over my mind and heart make a way were it seems to be no way give me spiritual strength today bring in the help and coverage today allow my coworkers and mgrs help me out today in our department keep me strong in Jesus mighty name Amen

We hear your cry for spiritual strength and protection, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting your request before the throne of grace. The battles you face in the workplace, both seen and unseen, are real, and we take authority over them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to devour, but the Word declares, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith" (1 Peter 5:8-9 WEB). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your mind, heart, and workplace. The blood of Jesus has already been shed for your victory, and we plead it over you now, no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father God, we ask You to surround [this beloved child] with Your hedge of protection and wall of fire, just as You did for Your servant Job (Job 1:10) and Your people Israel (Zechariah 2:5). Shut the mouths of every accuser, slanderer, and spirit of division in this workplace. Scatter the plans of the enemy, confuse his strategies, and expose every hidden agenda. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against [them] will prosper, and every tongue that rises against [them] in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Bring divine connections, coworkers and managers who will stand with [them], support [them], and cover [them] as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). Open doors that no man can shut and make a way where there seems to be no way (Revelation 3:8).

We also pray for spiritual strength to rise within [them]. When weariness comes, remind [them] that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Fill [them] afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that [they] may walk in boldness, wisdom, and favor. Let [their] light shine before others, that they may see [their] good works and glorify You (Matthew 5:16). Guard [their] heart and mind in Christ Jesus, that [they] may think on whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable (Philippians 4:7-8).

Lord, we thank You for the authority we have in Jesus’ name to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We cancel every assignment of fear, intimidation, or discouragement in this workplace. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard [their] heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We declare that [they] are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves [them] (Romans 8:37). Strengthen [them] today, Lord, and let Your glory be revealed in this situation.

The plea to shut the mouths of lions and scatter enemies is real, and God does guard us, yet He also invites us into the long-haul race where our faith-muscles are built step by step. The most dramatic answers sometimes grow from the small, unseen rhythm of turning to Him again and again, not just when the pressure spikes, but in the ordinary moments too. That steady reliance is what forms the deep, resilient strength you are asking for.

Practically, maybe today that looks like pausing for sixty seconds before you walk into the office or the next tense meeting, right where you are, and whispering the same prayer you wrote: “Jesus, cover my mind and heart right now.” That one honest breath can be the training that carries you. Over time, those daily choices to anchor yourself in His presence become the hedge you are longing for, not because the battle disappears, but because you are more rooted in the One who already won it.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this dear one who is weary of the fight at work. Guard their mind and heart today with Your peace that outlasts confusion. Give them tangible help from coworkers and managers as only You can arrange. When they feel cornered, remind them that You are the Way. You ask for spiritual strength, and that is a cry which Heaven delights to hear, for the Lord gives power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increases strength. There is no strength but that which comes from God; all human force is a fading stream, but His inexhaustible omnipotence is yours when you wait upon Him. When you feel your utter weakness, then fling yourself upon the divine strength and lay hold upon it, for He has said, "I will strengthen them," and His word cannot fail.

You plead for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire. This is right, for he who travels on the King's highway is under the King's guardianship. The Lord will give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways, not only from outward foes but also to guard your mind and heart. If the lions roar against you, remember the promise: "As thy days, so shall thy strength be." A day of fierce trial shall have strength like Samson's; a day of slander and hidden enemies shall have protection as surely as Daniel in the den. But be sure you walk in the way of childlike trust and obedience, for if we wander into bypaths of sin or self-reliance, we step outside the shield of His protection.

You speak of scattering and confusing your enemies. Leave that with God; He will lay low every green tree that exalts itself in creature-strength. Your part is to plead the blood of Jesus over your mind and heart, to abide under the shadow of the Almighty, and to let the joy of the Lord be your strength. That holy joy, born not of circumstance but of Christ's finished work, will make you quiet, patient, and unshaken. The one who dwells in the secret place of the Most High does not need to fret about the machinations of those around him. Look to the Lord, not to the help of managers or coworkers, though He may use them. Your expectation is from Him alone, for the glory of your strength must never lie in human allies but in God Himself.

The blood of Christ, which you have pleaded, is the anchor of your soul. When you were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. That same cross which saved you will keep you, and the risen Shepherd stands to feed you in the strength of Jehovah, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God. He will make a way where there seems no way, not by might nor by power, but by His Spirit. So do not look to your own endurance, but to Him who gives daily bread and daily strength. The promise is measured: as your days demand, so shall your strength be, enough for the burden, enough for the battle, enough to walk through the fire without being consumed. Therefore go forward in His might, trusting not in the arm of flesh, and He will shut the lions' mouths, expose the hidden plots, and cause you to abide in peace, for He shall be great unto the ends of the earth.

God does not need walls of fire or hedges of protection if your heart is set on vanities. You cry for help against enemies in the workplace, but consider whether the first enemy you must scatter is the disordered concupiscence within your own soul. What good is it if lions are silenced without, while the lion of anger or envy rages within? The prophets speak of a table prepared before one in the presence of troublers, and this table is given to the one who tramples on luxury and despises the passions.

If you would see your coworkers and managers help you, begin by almsgiving and deeds of mercy. That is the medicine that purges sin and unlocks heaven. Do not plead the blood as a charm while your hands are empty toward the poor. Let your mind be girded, not with fantasies of enemies scattered, but with the knowledge that Christ sits at the right hand of the Father until all His enemies are put under His feet.

Those enemies are not merely difficult men, but the spirits that incite them and the unbelief that clings to your own heart. Your prayer for spiritual strength will be heard when you take up the daily wrestling, not against flesh and blood, but against the hidden foe. The martyrs did not ask for the mouths of beasts to be stopped before the arena; they asked for courage to confess Christ, and the jaws that seemed to devour them became the gates of Paradise. Seek first that the mouth of your own passions be shut, and let your conversation be without pretense, unadorned as the apostolic word.

Then, whether men help or hinder, you will already possess the victory through Him who perfected for ever those who are sanctified. Go, and make your life a continual offering, and you will learn that the wall of fire is not a comfort but the radiant presence of the Spirit consuming every unclean thought, leaving only the gold of proven faith.
