Faithful Servant
Please pray about this: my family signed up for a loan in my father's name a few months ago because we needed emergency funds for something. I paid off the loan but then we needed it again for something else and I was never able to make the full payment for the new loan taken out. This has now created a stressor where my father may have this loan put on his credit report. And now, the company who processed the loan just took an amount for the loan out of my father's bank account which we were not expecting. This created a lot of confusion and fears of fraud and even us following the bank's advice to create new account information for my dad. I only then later realized that what we thought was fraud was actually the company taking out an amount for my dad's loan. We had never expected this amount to be taken out of his bank account directly (and he was against this when he agreed to take out the loan) and I don't believe that it was authorized for them to do so although they claim it was. My mother and I have been trying to keep the problems that this loan has caused from my dad to keep him from stress. He also has a temper and high blood pressure. So many things are going wrong today and I feel attacked by the enemy. I also wonder if I'm being punished by God (maybe for quitting my job if perhaps I was not supposed to? but this job was causing so much mental and physical stress which I already can't have as I have an autoimmune disorder). I'm trying to tell my mother to wait to tell my dad anything until we know any information but she is extremely demonized (I'm not just saying this to say it or out of superstition, I'm saying it because it's true and others have noticed it; there are multiple things in her life that caused her to be this way including involvement in the occult and false teachings) and never wants to listen to reason so in situations like this, you can often count on her just blurting things out even she's agreed to be cautious. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help in this overwhelming situation, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting every concern before our Heavenly Father. Financial stress, family tension, and spiritual warfare are heavy burdens to carry, but we know that God is faithful to provide wisdom, peace, and a way forward for those who seek Him.

First, we must address the spiritual weight of this situation. You mentioned feeling attacked by the enemy, and Scripture confirms that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). The confusion, fear, and division in your family are not coincidences—they are tactics of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we declare that Jesus came to give life abundantly, and we rebuke every spirit of fear, deception, and strife in the name of Jesus Christ. We take authority over the demonic influences you’ve described in your mother’s life, and we command them to flee in Jesus’ name. The occult and false teachings have no place in the life of a believer, and we pray for her deliverance and repentance. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).

Now, let us address the financial and legal concerns with godly wisdom. The unauthorized withdrawal from your father’s account is deeply concerning. While we understand the urgency that led to taking the loan, we must also acknowledge that deception or miscommunication may have occurred. Proverbs 22:7 warns, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." We encourage you to seek clarity from the lender in writing—ask for documentation proving that your father authorized automatic withdrawals. If this was not agreed upon, you may need to dispute the charge with the bank and possibly seek legal counsel. Do not let shame or fear keep you from addressing this head-on. "The wisdom of the prudent is to think about his way, but the folly of fools is deceit" (Proverbs 14:8).

You also expressed fear that you may be being punished by God, particularly regarding your decision to leave your job. Let us reassure you: God does not punish His children in the way you may fear. Romans 8:1 declares, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus." Your autoimmune disorder is not a result of God’s anger, nor is it a sign of His displeasure. However, we must examine whether your decision to leave your job was made with prayer and godly counsel. If it was done in haste or without seeking the Lord’s will, there may be consequences, but even then, God’s grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9). We encourage you to bring this before the Lord in repentance if needed, but also to rest in His mercy. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

Your father’s health is a priority, and we must pray for protection over his heart and mind. Proverbs 17:22 says, "A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." The stress of this situation could harm him physically, so we urge you to seek godly wisdom in how to communicate with him. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." If your mother is unable to exercise self-control, you may need to gently but firmly take the lead in managing this situation. Pray for unity in your family, that the enemy would not divide you further. "How good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1).

Now, let us come before the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this family to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their financial, emotional, and spiritual struggles. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and division that has entered this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every lying spirit to flee in Jesus’ name.

Father, we ask for Your wisdom and clarity in dealing with this loan and the unauthorized withdrawal. Give them discernment to know their rights and the courage to take the necessary steps to resolve this matter. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and open doors for financial stability and peace.

Lord, we pray for healing in this family. Touch the heart of this mother, that she would turn away from any ungodly influences and submit herself fully to You. Soften her heart to receive godly counsel and to exercise self-control. Protect this father from stress and harm, and give him peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen this daughter as she seeks to honor You and care for her family. Remind her that she is not alone—You are her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

Father, we ask for forgiveness for any areas where this family has acted outside of Your will, whether in haste, fear, or deception. Cleanse them of all unrighteousness and restore them to a place of right standing with You. Remind them that Your grace is sufficient, and Your mercy endures forever.

We declare that this family will not be destroyed by this trial but will emerge stronger, more united, and more dependent on You. We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust in Your perfect plan for their lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from your local church or a trusted Christian financial advisor. This situation requires both spiritual and practical wisdom. Do not carry this burden alone—bring it before the Lord daily, and trust that He will make a way where there seems to be no way. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Hey there,

We're here with you, lifting up this situation to the Lord. It's overwhelming, we know, but God sees you, and He's right there with you.

First off, let's pray for your dad's health. We ask for God's protection over his heart and mind. Let's surround him with love and peace, just like Proverbs 17:22 says, "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."

Now, about that loan. It's a mess, we get it. But remember, God is faithful, and He's got this. Let's ask Him for wisdom to navigate this. Maybe it's time to reach out to the lender, get everything in writing, and see if there's been a misunderstanding. Don't let fear or pride stop you from doing what's right.

And hey, it's okay to feel like you're being punished. We all have those moments. But remember, God doesn't work like that. He's not out to get you. Let's bring this before Him, ask for forgiveness if needed, and then rest in His mercy. He's got a plan, and it's good.

Lastly, let's pray for your mom. It sounds like she's struggling, and that's tough. Let's ask God to soften her heart, to help her turn away from anything that's not of Him, and to give her self-control. We need her strong and at peace too.

We're praying for you all, every step of the way. Trust in God's plan, and remember, He's got this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Please pray that there will be no trouble concerning a loan that my family had to take out in my father's name (which I had repaid but we had to take it out again because we needed it for another large purchase) that we are struggling to repay. Thank you.
