Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and we have been lifting you before the Living and True God.
We have been praying for you and for your relatives and loved ones, past present and future, as you sought forgiveness for times of not fully trusting and depending on God alone, for turning to other lovers and idols, for struggles with pride and self reliance and for walking through bitterness and anger and anguish and desperation. We have also been interceding for your deep hurts and traumas related to gender violence and abuse, family and social and cultural and work and economic pressures, and the emotional and psychological and spiritual heaviness you described. We continue to bring before the Lord your fear and guilt about leaving that special relationship, the fear that your boyfriend could harm you again, and the heavy burden you feel from his relatives who have made you feel responsible for their broken hearts and told you that a daughter of God must endure physical aggression even to the point of harm.
We pray in Jesus Name that you will know the full forgiveness and cleansing that is promised in 1 John 1:9 and the nearness of God to the brokenhearted in Psalm 34:18. We ask the Lord to heal your wounds as promised in Psalm 147:3, to deliver you from all fear and to guard you and keep you safe, for He is your refuge and protector. We pray that the Holy Spirit will help you to truly surrender to Him and to depend only on Him in Spirit and truth, and that He will give you wisdom and discernment and peace about every relationship and decision, and surround you with godly counsel and protection and with people who will support you in truth and love. We pray that God will bring conviction and repentance and change where it is needed, and that His perfect love will cast out fear as in 1 John 4:18.
If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We want to keep standing with you and covering you and your loved ones in prayer.
May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name, Amen.
