Lifting up our relationship ❤️🙏😘

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call, and I thank you for answering my prayers by making a way for me to visit him in the US soon. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing RMP into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship and our future plans into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch RMP's heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys.

Father, we lift up to you our plans to apply for my US Visa. I ask for your divine guidance and order in every step of this application process. Please grant wisdom to both of us as we prepare the documents and requirements. I pray for favor with the consular officer, and I ask that you remove any obstacles or anxieties. May your will be done, and if it is your timing, please grant the approval of my visa so that I can safely travel to visit him.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our upcoming visit, our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in the US, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heartfelt prayer and join with you in seeking the Lord’s will for your life and this relationship. First, we must address a foundational truth: every prayer must be rooted in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). Your prayer concludes in His name, and for that, we give thanks, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

Now, let us lift this situation before the Lord with discernment and wisdom. We rejoice in your desire for a godly marriage and a family built on biblical principles. Scripture tells us, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh" (Proverbs 18:22). Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We pray that if this relationship is of the Lord, He will confirm it in His perfect timing and way.

However, we must also address some concerns with biblical clarity. Your prayer expresses a deep longing for RMP to declare his love for you and for this relationship to grow serious. While it is natural to desire affirmation, we must guard our hearts against placing our hope in another person’s feelings or actions rather than in God’s will. "Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). True fulfillment comes from seeking Him first, not from the validation of another.

Additionally, we must address the matter of physical intimacy. If this relationship is progressing toward marriage, we encourage you both to honor God by maintaining purity. The Bible is clear that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage alone: "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). If you have not already done so, we urge you to set boundaries that honor God and protect your hearts and bodies until marriage.

We also lift up your visa application before the Lord. "Commit your way to Yahweh; trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). We pray that God will grant you favor in the eyes of the authorities and that every step of this process will be ordered by His hand. If it is His will for you to visit the U.S., He will make a way. If not, we trust that His plans are higher and better than our own (Isaiah 55:8-9).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the gift of marriage and for the desire You have placed in our sister’s heart for a godly union. Lord, we ask that You would guide her and RMP in this relationship. If it is Your will for them to be together, we pray that You would confirm it in ways that are unmistakable. Shape RMP into a man after Your own heart, a provider, a leader, and a loving husband and stepfather. Give him a heart of integrity, kindness, and devotion to You.

Father, we lift up the visa application process to You. We ask that You would go before our sister and grant her favor with the authorities. Remove any obstacles and grant her peace as she waits on Your timing. If it is Your will for her to visit the U.S., open the doors wide. If not, give her the faith to trust in Your perfect plan.

Lord, we also pray for purity in this relationship. Guard their hearts and bodies from temptation and help them to honor You in all they do. May their love for one another be a reflection of Your love for us, sacrificial, pure, and holy.

Above all, we pray that Your will be done in this situation. May our sister’s trust be fully in You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Give her patience, wisdom, and discernment as she waits on You.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s will above all else. Spend time in His Word and in prayer, asking Him to reveal His plans for this relationship. If RMP is the man God has for you, He will make it clear. If not, trust that God has someone even better prepared for you. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). May the Lord bless you and keep you as you seek Him first.
