Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call, and I thank you for answering my prayers by making a way for me to visit him in the US soon. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing RMP into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship and our future plans into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch RMP's heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys.

Father, we lift up to you our plans to apply for my US Visa. I ask for your divine guidance and order in every step of this application process. Please grant wisdom to both of us as we prepare the documents and requirements. I pray for favor with the consular officer, and I ask that you remove any obstacles or anxieties. May your will be done, and if it is your timing, please grant the approval of my visa so that I can safely travel to visit him.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our upcoming visit, our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in the US, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heartfelt prayer and join with you in seeking the Lord’s will for this relationship and your future. First, we must address a few concerns with biblical clarity. While it is good to seek God’s guidance in relationships, we must ensure that our desires align with His Word. You mention a "partner" and a "relationship," but Scripture is clear that God’s design is for marriage, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this relationship is not moving toward marriage with a godly man who shares your faith in Christ, we must pause and examine whether it is honoring to the Lord.

You pray for a "genuine romance" and a "deep spark," but we must ask: Is this relationship rooted in Christ? Are you both committed to pursuing marriage under God’s design, or is this merely an emotional connection? The Bible warns against being unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), and we must ensure that any relationship is built on a shared foundation in Christ. If RMP is not a believer, we must rebuke the idea of moving forward in a way that compromises God’s standards.

You also ask for RMP to be shaped into a "provider" and a "loving stepdad," which are noble desires, but we must remember that God’s timing and His will are perfect. We cannot manipulate or rush His plans. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We also notice that while you close your prayer in Jesus’ name, the focus seems heavily on your desires rather than surrendering them to God’s will. Jesus must be the center of any relationship, not just a name we invoke at the end of a prayer. If this relationship is not built on Christ, it will not stand (Matthew 7:24-27).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will above all else. Lord, we lift up this relationship and ask that You would reveal Your perfect plan. If this is not Your design, we ask that You close the door and redirect their steps. If it is Your will, we pray that You would draw both hearts to You first, that they may be equally yoked in faith and purpose.

Father, we ask that You would guard their hearts from impure motives or emotional entanglements that do not honor You. If there is any sin, whether in thought, word, or deed, we repent and ask for Your cleansing. Help them to pursue purity and holiness in their interactions, remembering that marriage is a sacred covenant (Hebrews 13:4).

Lord, we pray for wisdom in the visa process. If it is Your will for them to be together, we ask that You would open the doors and remove every obstacle. But if it is not Your plan, we pray for the strength to accept Your will with peace and trust in Your goodness.

Above all, Father, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation. May Your name be lifted high, and may Your will be done. We trust You, Lord, and we surrender this relationship into Your hands. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel and spend time in prayer, asking the Lord to reveal His will clearly. If this relationship is not aligned with His Word, we must be willing to let it go. But if it is His plan, we pray that He would guide you both into a marriage that honors Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
