Lifting our future šŸ™ā¤ļø

Heavenly Father,

We come to You in this season of deep grief and transition, knowing that You are the close companion of the brokenhearted and a Father to the fatherless. Thank You for holding me and my boys in the palm of Your hand since my husband passed into Your eternal presence this year. Lord, we lean entirely on Your strength today, asking for Your daily guidance and unwavering protection over everything we do.

Father, we lift up our finances into Your hands. You know every need we have before we even speak it. Please provide for us abundantly, grant us wisdom in how we steward what You give, and remove every spirit of anxiety about the future. Let us feel Your provision in tangible ways, knowing that You are our ultimate Sustainer.

We specially lift up ### and ### to You. Surround them with Your divine protection as they navigate their daily lives, and pour out Your wisdom upon their minds. Grant them clarity, focus, and diligence as they study. Open doors for their education, and guide their steps so that they may succeed and thrive in the fields You have chosen for them. Be the anchor of stability in their hearts, Lord, filling the empty spaces with Your comfort and peace.

Order our steps, heal our home, and let Your light shine brightly on our path forward.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We join you in this season of deep grief and transition and we lift you and your boys before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus name. We are deeply moved by your faith as you lean on Him as the close companion of the brokenhearted and a Father to the fatherless, and we thank Him for holding you in the palm of His hand since your husband passed into His eternal presence this year.

We are reminded of His promise in Psalm 34:18 that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, and in Psalm 68:5 that He is a father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. He sees every tear, He knows the empty spaces in your home, and He has not left you to walk this path alone. We also cling to Deuteronomy 31:8 that Yahweh, it is he who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid, neither be dismayed, and to Isaiah 41:10 that He will strengthen you and uphold you with the right hand of His righteousness.

We bring your finances before Him as you have asked. He knows every need before you even speak it and He delights to provide for His children. We pray you will experience His tangible provision and His peace that drives out anxiety, for Philippians 4:6-7 tells us in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We stand on Philippians 4:19 that our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and we ask Him to grant you wisdom to steward what He provides, to open doors of provision and to remove every spirit of anxiety about the future as you trust Him day by day.

We also lift up your sons to the Lord. We ask for His divine protection over them as they navigate daily life, for wisdom upon their minds, and for clarity, focus and diligence as they study. We pray James 1:5 over them, that if any of them lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We ask the Lord to open doors for their education, to guide their steps and to establish them in the fields He has chosen for them, and to be the anchor of stability in their hearts. May He fill every empty place with His comfort and peace and let them know they are fully seen, loved and kept by Him. We pray Proverbs 3:5-6 over your whole home, that you will trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and not lean on your own understanding, and in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

We thank you for coming in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father and confidence that He hears us, and we are grateful for your faith in Him.

We pray together now, Father, we come before You in Jesus name and we lift this dear mother and her boys to You. Lord, order their steps, heal their home, and let Your light shine brightly on their path forward. Comfort them in their grief, carry them in their weakness, and be their daily strength and guide. Provide for every financial need abundantly, grant wisdom in stewardship, and let Your peace guard their hearts. Surround the boys with Your protection, anoint their minds with wisdom and understanding, help them to study with diligence and to thrive in the future You have prepared for them. Fulfill Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11 that You know the thoughts You think toward them, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give them hope and a future. Let this family feel Your sustaining hand in tangible ways each day and know that You are near. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our hope and our sustainer, Amen.

We have been holding your prayer before the Lord and we are so sorry for the loss of your husband this year. Thank you for letting us come alongside you and your boys in this tender season of grief and transition. The weight you are carrying, grieving yourself while trying to be steady for your sons, is a lot to hold.

One thing we have seen walking with families after a loss is that grief does not look the same for any two people, even under the same roof. You may feel waves of sorrow at unexpected times, and your boys will likely show theirs differently from you and from each other, sometimes through quietness, sometimes through clinginess, restlessness, or wanting everything to seem normal. That is not a sign you are doing anything wrong. Children often need a safe, steady place and a little time before they can put words to what they feel.

It can help to keep a simple, predictable rhythm at home and to create a low pressure space where anyone can share a memory or a question if they want to, without having to talk. And please do not carry this alone. Having one or two trusted people, a pastor, counselor, or mature friend who knows your family, to check in regularly can make the next steps feel less overwhelming. For the financial worries you named, sitting down with one wise, trusted person to look at needs and resources one step at a time can ease some of the anxiety as you continue to trust God day by day.

Father, we lift this family to You. Hold this mom and her boys close, provide for their daily needs, give her wisdom for each decision, and guard their home with Your peace. Comfort their hearts where the empty spaces ache, and guide her sons with clarity and steadiness as they learn and grow. Order their steps in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard with tender sympathy and we join you in lifting your household before the throne of grace. The Lord is indeed nigh unto the brokenhearted and He has shown Himself to be a Father to the fatherless and a Defender of the widow. He has said, You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child, if they cry at all unto Me I will surely hear their cry. That promise is your anchor in this season of deep grief and transition.

We sorrow with you in the loss of your husband, who has passed into the eternal presence of the Lord. When a household is left and children are made fatherless, it is a bitter cup, yet the judgments and the mercies of God are as a great deep, fathomless in wisdom and in love. What seems to us a shallow and safe sea is not always so, and the same God who permits the trial is He who keeps watch over the vessel through every storm.

Take comfort in the remembrance of the widow of Sarepta. She was poor and alone, with only a handful of meal in a barrel and a little oil in a cruse, yet the Lord chose her to sustain His prophet and He made that barrel inexhaustible and that cruse unfailing. He still finds His instruments in unlikely places and He is able to provide for you abundantly, to give wisdom in stewardship and to remove the spirit of anxiety about the future. As He commanded His people to leave the forgotten sheaf in the field and the gleanings of the grapes for the widow and the fatherless, so He has not forgotten you. Your sustenance is in His hand.

We also take encouragement from the importunate widow who, though she had no promise and no constant access to an unjust judge, prevailed by her continual coming. How much more shall you speed with God, whose delight it is to take care of His children and who loves them as the apple of His eye. Continue therefore in prayer, not only in set seasons in the sanctuary where Asaph at last understood the end of his perplexity, but in brief silent prayer through the day, as Nehemiah prayed before the king. When the children are troublesome, when the finances press, when the empty spaces in the home are most keenly felt, a short cry to Heaven is heard and answered.

We pray now for you and for your two sons whom you have lifted up. May the Lord surround them with divine protection, pour out upon them wisdom and clarity of mind, grant them focus and diligence in their studies, and open doors for their education according to His good purpose. May He teach them to walk as a father teaches his children to go, for He pities His children and He hates putting away, being married unto His people. He sees what is good in His children and He is not ashamed to call them His own, saying Behold I and the children which God has given Me. We ask that He would be the stability of their hearts, filling what feels empty with His comfort and peace, and that He would sanctify them even in their youth, for children are capable of deep piety and of rendering true service to Christ.

We ask the Lord to order your steps, to heal your home, and to let His light shine upon your path forward. May He daily guide you, keep you in unwavering protection, and let you feel His provision in tangible ways, knowing that Christ alone is our salvation and our hope, and that in Him you are held in the palm of His hand.

In the name of Jesus our only Redeemer we pray, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been lifted before the Lord and we have heard the weight of grief and trust that you carry in this season. The loss of your husband is a deep sorrow, and yet your turning to God as the companion of the brokenhearted and Father to the fatherless is the right and blessed path.

Scripture gives a special name and promise to one in your place. A widow indeed is one who trusts in God and continues in prayer night and day, and God in turn shows Himself as her defender and as Judge of the widows and Father to the orphans. He takes much care for the unprotected, and the tears of the widow have power to open heaven itself. Do not grieve as though this widowhood were only loss. When it is endured through fear of God and patience, it becomes a crown for which a reward is laid up, and God Himself fills the empty spaces with His consolation. He has not forgotten you or your sons, but holds you in the palm of His hand.

We join you in praying for your daily guidance and protection. May the Lord order your steps, heal your home, and let His light shine on your path forward. For your finances, we ask the Lord who sees every need before you speak it to provide for you tangibly and to grant you wisdom as you steward what He gives. Do not be burdened with anxiety about the future. Even when resources seem small, like the widow who cast in two mites or shared a barley cake having only that, God receives the disposition of the heart and makes it sufficient. He will be your Sustainer.

We also lift up your two sons to the Lord. We ask Him to surround them with divine protection in their daily lives, to be the anchor of stability in their hearts and to fill them with His comfort and peace. May He grant them clarity, focus and diligence in their studies, open doors for their education, and guide their steps so they may grow and thrive in the fields He has chosen for them. May He guard them from harm and establish them in strength as they grow toward manhood.

Continue to bring every need to Him in prayer. He who has promised that though sins be as scarlet they shall be as white as snow delights to show mercy and to plead the cause of the widow and the fatherless. May the grace and lovingkindness of our Lord Jesus Christ keep you and your household in perfect peace, and may you know His provision and presence each day.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
