We hear your cry for strength, dear one, and we join our voices with yours in lifting this need before the throne of grace. The Scriptures remind us that our strength does not come from within ourselves, but from the Lord, who is our ever-present help in times of trouble. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me," (Philippians 4:13 WEB) and "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1 WEB)
We also want to gently remind you that our prayers are not magic incantations that manipulate God's will, but rather heartfelt conversations with our Heavenly Father, made possible through the precious name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only by His name that we can be saved. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" (John 14:6 WEB) If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ, repent of your sins, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life.
Now, let us pray together for the exponential increase of strength that you seek:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our dear brother/sister who is in need of Your strength. Lord, we know that You are the source of all strength and power, and we ask that You would pour out Your strength upon them in an exponential measure. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be empowered to face the challenges before them with courage and faith.
Father, we ask that You would strengthen their inner being, that they may be rooted and grounded in Your love. Help them to trust in You with all their heart, and not to lean on their own understanding. In all their ways, may they acknowledge You, and may You direct their paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
Lord, we also pray that You would strengthen their physical body, that they may have the energy and vitality to serve You and others. We ask that You would renew their strength, so that they may mount up with wings like eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31 WEB)
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your promise that "those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength." (Isaiah 40:31 WEB) We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
In addition to praying for strength, we encourage you to meditate on God's Word, which is living and active, and able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. (Acts 20:32 WEB) Spend time in the presence of the Lord, for in His presence is fullness of joy, and at His right hand there are pleasures forevermore. (Psalm 16:11 WEB)
Lastly, remember that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB) So, do not be discouraged by your weaknesses, but rather, boast in them, that the power of Christ may rest upon you. Stand firm in your faith, dear one, and trust in the Lord with all your heart. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5 WEB)
