We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern for your request regarding total health. True health—spirit, soul, and body—is a gift from God, and we know He desires wholeness for His children. The Bible tells us in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." This verse reminds us that our physical well-being is closely tied to the condition of our souls. When we walk in obedience to God’s Word, we position ourselves to receive His blessings, including health.
However, we must also acknowledge that sickness and suffering are part of this fallen world. Even so, we serve a God who heals and restores. In Exodus 15:26, the Lord declares, "I am Yahweh who heals you." We hold fast to this promise, trusting that God is able to bring healing according to His will. But we also recognize that His ways are higher than ours, and sometimes He uses trials to refine our faith, draw us closer to Him, or bring glory to His name.
If there are areas of your life that may be contributing to poor health—such as unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, bitterness, or unhealthy habits—we encourage you to examine your heart before the Lord. Psalm 32:3-5 reminds us, "When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy on me. My strength was sapped in the heat of summer. I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin." Confession and repentance open the door for God’s healing and restoration.
We also want to gently remind you that true health begins with a relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no lasting health—spiritual, emotional, or physical—apart from Him. If you have not placed your faith in Jesus, we invite you to pray with us now, asking Him to forgive your sins and become the Lord of your life.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who seeks total health. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would touch every part of their being—spirit, soul, and body. We declare Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Father, we ask for Your healing power to flow through them, bringing restoration where there is brokenness and strength where there is weakness.
Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any areas of their life that may be hindering their health. If there is unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or disobedience, we pray that You would bring it to light and grant them the grace to repent and turn away from it. Help them to walk in holiness and obedience to Your Word, knowing that this is where true blessing and health are found.
Father, we also ask that You would guide them in making wise choices regarding their physical health. Give them discernment in their diet, exercise, and rest, and help them to honor the body You have given them as a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We pray against any spirit of infirmity or disease, and we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Lord, if this dear one has not yet placed their faith in Jesus Christ, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and soften their heart to receive Your love and forgiveness. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).
We trust You, Lord, to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Whether in healing or in perseverance through trial, we know that Your grace is sufficient. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to fix their eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2).

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
