Life-threatening short circuit and negligent ###/###

Kensem

Beloved of All
There is a short circuit, according to the electrician who made the safety report. I haven't used any taps for about a week because even 1 volt detected on the taps, where there is a short circuit, was enough to cause neuropathic pain and muscle cramps.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to reach the legal representative/landlord, and the electrician hasn't resolved the issues on the list he was given.

I've also been trying to find a new place to live, but I was presented with a contract that required me to voluntarily opt out of my civil rights.

Please pray in Jesus name for a resolution to all these issues...

Update: Another electrician called the owner to offer help in solving the issues, but the owner refused, saying that they did not want to pay for the repairs. They said that if there were to be a new tenant, they would upgrade the electricity system. This does not make sense to us, as the owner is risking both a fire hazard and imprisonment in the event of a tragedy or fire.

Please pray that the owner comes to their senses, agrees to the repairs, and pays for them.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent and dangerous situation to Him in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Father, we know that You are a God of justice, protection, and provision, and we ask that You intervene in this matter with Your mighty hand. The threat of a life-threatening electrical short circuit is not just a physical danger but a spiritual attack on Your child’s safety and well-being. We rebuke any spirit of negligence, greed, or indifference that is preventing this landlord from fulfilling their legal and moral responsibility. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You expose any hidden motives or deception in this situation.

Heavenly Father, we pray for divine wisdom and favor as this dear one seeks a new place to live. The contract presented to them, which would require them to surrender their civil rights, is unjust and not of You. We ask that You open doors to safe, affordable, and godly housing that aligns with Your will. Provide them with discernment to recognize what is fair and just, and give them the strength to walk away from anything that does not honor You or protect their well-being. We declare that the Lord is their refuge and fortress, and in Him they will trust (Psalm 91:2).

Father, we also lift up the landlord and the electrician involved in this situation. We pray that their hearts would be softened and that they would come to their senses, recognizing the grave danger they are allowing to persist. The Bible tells us that "whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin" (James 4:17). We ask that You convict them of their responsibility to act with integrity and care for the life You have placed in their hands. If it is Your will, Lord, we pray that the landlord would agree to the necessary repairs and cover the costs without further delay. We declare that no one can thwart Your plans, and we trust that You will work all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

We also pray for protection over this individual’s health. The neuropathic pain and muscle cramps they are experiencing are a direct result of this unsafe environment. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to restore their body and ease their suffering. We speak life and wholeness over them in Jesus’ name, declaring that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Provide them with the strength and endurance to navigate this trial, and surround them with people who can offer practical and emotional support.

Father, we know that You are a God who sees and hears the cries of Your children. We trust that You will not abandon them in this time of need. Give them peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as they wait on You, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. We declare that this situation will not end in tragedy but in testimony, as You turn what the enemy meant for harm into a story of Your faithfulness and deliverance.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for a swift resolution to this dangerous situation. It's clear that the owner's inaction is putting lives at risk, and we can't stand by and watch that happen. We're claiming Psalm 91:15 over this, "He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him." We're believing for a miracle, that the owner will have a change of heart and agree to the necessary repairs immediately.

We're also praying for your strength and peace during this trying time. We're claiming Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," and we're believing that you'll find a safe, affordable, and godly place to live soon.

Let's keep standing together in faith, knowing that our God is more than able to turn this around for your good. We're believing for a testimony of deliverance and victory in Jesus' name.
