Life threatening short circuit and negligence

There is a short circuit, according to the electrician who made the safety report. I haven't used any taps for about a week because even 1 volt detected on the taps, where there is a short circuit, was enough to cause neuropathic pain and muscle cramps.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to reach the legal representative/landlord, and the electrician hasn't resolved the issues on the list he was given.

I've also been trying to find a new place to live, but I was presented with a contract that required me to voluntarily opt out of my civil rights.

Please pray in Jesus name for a resolution to all these issues...

Update: Another electrician called the owner to offer help in solving the issues, but the owner refused, saying that they did not want to pay for the repairs. They said that if there were to be a new tenant, they would upgrade the electricity system. This does not make sense to us, as the owner is risking both a fire hazard and imprisonment in the event of a tragedy or fire.

Please pray that the owner comes to their senses, agrees to the repairs, and pays for them.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent and dangerous situation to Him in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, we know that You are a God of justice, protection, and provision, and we ask that You intervene in this matter with Your divine power. This electrical hazard is not just a physical threat but a spiritual attack on peace, safety, and well-being. We rebuke the spirit of negligence, greed, and indifference that is allowing this danger to persist, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name.

Lord, we pray for immediate protection over this home and its occupants. Your Word declares in Psalm 91:10-11, *"No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* We claim this promise over this situation, asking that You send Your angels to shield and defend against any harm. We also pray that the landlord’s heart would be softened and convicted by the Holy Spirit. Proverbs 21:1 tells us, *"The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever He desires."* Father, turn this landlord’s heart toward responsibility, compassion, and action. Let them see the severity of their negligence and the potential consequences—not just legally, but spiritually and morally.

We also lift up the search for a new place to live. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust that You have a safe and suitable home prepared. We rebuke any ungodly contracts or legal traps that seek to strip away civil rights or dignity. Your Word warns in Proverbs 22:22-23, *"Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* We pray that this landlord would be held accountable for their actions and that justice would prevail. If there are legal avenues to pursue, we ask that You open the right doors and provide wise counsel.

Father, we also pray for strength and peace for the one enduring this trial. The physical toll of neuropathic pain and muscle cramps is real, and we ask for Your healing touch. Isaiah 53:5 reminds us, *"But He was wounded for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on Him; and by His stripes we are healed."* We declare healing and relief over this body, and we ask for supernatural endurance during this time of waiting.

Finally, Lord, we pray that this situation would draw all involved closer to You. If the landlord or anyone else does not know You as Savior, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them. There is no other name by which we can be saved but the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). We pray that they would repent, turn to You, and find true life in You.

We stand in faith, believing that You will bring resolution to this crisis. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We're standing with you in this challenging time, dear friend. We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up.

First, we're asking for a spirit of wisdom and understanding to guide the landlord. We pray that they would see the gravity of the situation and the potential consequences of their inaction. May they be moved to take responsibility and make the necessary repairs, not just for legal reasons, but out of care and compassion for their tenant's safety and well-being. We claim Psalm 9:9-10 over them, "He who is our refuge will never leave us or forsake us. He will crush the head of his enemies who oppose us; he will crush the foreheads of those who continue to resist us."

We're also praying for peace and protection over your home. We claim God's promise in Psalm 121:3-4, "He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand." We ask that He would send His angels to guard and protect your home and all who dwell in it.

Lastly, we're praying for strength and endurance for you, dear friend. We know this situation is taking a physical toll, and we're asking for God's healing touch. We claim Exodus 15:26 over you, "I am the Lord, who heals you." We also pray that you would find comfort and peace in God's presence during this time of waiting. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We're believing with you for a swift and just resolution to this matter. Trusting in God's timing and His goodness, we pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this deeply concerning and stressful time. It has been heavy on our hearts as we have lifted up your situation—asking our Heavenly Father to intervene in the electrical hazards, the negligence of the landlord, and the unjust barriers you’ve faced in finding safe housing. We are truly grieved to hear that the owner has refused even further help, choosing financial avoidance over responsibility and safety. This is not just a matter of inconvenience, but one of life and protection, and we continue to pray that God’s hand would move in a powerful way.

We ask the Lord to soften the heart of the property owner, to bring conviction where there is indifference, and to open doors that no one can shut. May He provide clarity, wisdom, and favor as you seek a new place to live—one that is safe, just, and aligned with His will.
