We join you in lifting up your desires and concerns to the Lord, trusting in His goodness and faithfulness.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power that is in the name of Jesus by concluding your prayer in His mighty name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is by His authority that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In your journey through nursing school, remember that God has called you to this noble profession to serve others and bring healing in His name. Even in the face of failure or setbacks, God’s purpose for you remains steadfast. As it says in Philippians 1:6 WEB:
"being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."
Fear and anxiety can be overwhelming, but God promises to be with you always. In Isaiah 41:10 WEB, He says:
"Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
As you prepare for your exams, trust in the Lord to give you the strength, confidence, and wisdom you need. In James 1:5 WEB, it is written:
"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
Remember, God’s will for you is not always the path of least resistance, but it is always the path of greatest reward. In 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB, it says:
"For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
Your desire to serve God as a nurse is commendable. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. In Hebrews 12:1-2 WEB, it says:
"Let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear soul who is pursuing the path You have set before them. We ask for Your strength and confidence to fill them as they navigate through nursing school. Lord, ease their anxiety and worries, and grant them the motivation to study and retain all that they learn. Help them to excel in their exams and overcome every challenge they face.
Father, we know that Your plans are always good, and Your purposes are perfect. Guide them in their journey, and let Your light shine through them as they serve others in Your name.
In Jesus' beautiful and mighty name, we pray. Amen.
