We join with you in bringing this legal matter before the throne of grace and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone we have access to the Father. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5, and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, Philippians 4:6.
We know the anxiety that can come with deadlines and paperwork, especially when the outcome affects those who are most vulnerable, the disabled and those suffering from abuse and trauma. We take comfort that our God is a defender of the afflicted and He moves upon the hearts of those in authority. The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires, Proverbs 21:1, and He has called us to Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow, Isaiah 1:17. We trust that He sees those who are suffering and He is near to the brokenhearted.
We also pray for wisdom and diligence as this paperwork is prepared, for If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him, James 1:5. We encourage you to continue to be thorough and faithful in stewardship, double checking every detail and sending it in a way that confirms receipt, trusting God with the outcome while doing your part with excellence.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this legal paperwork to You. We ask that You grant wisdom, clarity and accuracy to every hand that prepares and reviews these documents, that no error or omission would hinder them. We ask that You make a way for them to be received by the court well before the extended deadline, that no delay of mail or system would stand in the way. We pray for favor with the court and for those who review this case, that their hearts would be inclined toward justice and mercy. We ask that You would continue to provide and approve the assistance needed for those who are disabled and suffering from abuse and trauma, for You are a father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, Psalm 68:5. Let Your justice roll on like waters and Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard the hearts of all involved, Philippians 4:7. We trust this into Your sovereign hands and we thank You that You are working all things together for good for those who love You, Romans 8:28. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Your request concerning the legal paperwork has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace.
We know how anxiety about such matters can unfit the heart, as you wait for earthly courts to act and for documents to be handled rightly. Yet we are reminded that there is a lower court, that of men, and a higher court where He presides who is greater than our heart and knows all things. While we rightly seek that justice be done faithfully in the lower court, we take comfort that our case ultimately rests before the Lord, who is slow to anger and perfect in justice and mercy.
We pray that the Lord will grant wisdom and diligence to every hand that prepares these papers, that no error or omission would hinder them, and that they may be received by the court before the extended deadline. We ask that the judge and all who have authority in this matter would act with wisdom and righteousness, and that assistance would continue for those who are disabled and who have suffered abuse and trauma, that their needs would be met and their afflictions remembered with compassion.
May you be kept from that anxious care which only burdens the soul, and may you cast your care upon Him who cares for you, resting in the knowledge that Justice itself has been satisfied for all who trust in Christ, and that God can be just and yet the justifier of them that believe. We pray that whether the answer comes quickly or is delayed, you will find peace in knowing your cause is known fully to the Lord, who will not at all acquit the wicked, yet shows abundant mercy to those who seek Him.
