We join with you in prayer concerning this legal paperwork and the extended deadline, and we bring this burden before the Lord together in Jesus' name.
We know how stressful legal matters and deadlines can be, and we are reminded to bring every anxiety to God. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We also take comfort that no court or authority is outside of His sovereign hand, for The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires. Proverbs 21:1
We are especially burdened to pray for those who are disabled and suffering from abuse and trauma, that they would receive the help and protection they need. Scripture shows us God's heart for the vulnerable, that A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. Psalm 68:5 and we are called to Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow. Isaiah 1:17

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior. We ask for Your favor and guidance over this legal paperwork. Grant wisdom, clarity, and diligence to all who are preparing and handling these documents, that they may be completed correctly and without error. We ask that You would cause them to be received by the court well before the extended deadline, and that no detail would be overlooked. Lord, we ask that You would move upon the heart of the court to act with justice, mercy, and compassion, and to continue to approve the assistance needed for those who are disabled and who have suffered abuse and trauma. Provide for them, protect them, and surround them with Your healing and peace. Let Your will be done in this case, and let Your name be glorified through a just and timely outcome. We cast this care upon You and trust in Your perfect provision. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

You do well to be diligent in what is required of you, to see that the paperwork is prepared with care and truthfulness, for man looketh at the outward appearance, but God looketh at the heart, and all things are naked and open before Him. You go and do the right thing and then be no longer anxious about it, but leave the result with God. Having done what duty and honesty require, you may with holy boldness say, my soul trusteth in Thee, yea, in the shadow of Thy wings will I make my refuge.
We know there is another court besides that of earth, the court of Eternal Justice, where our great debt was discharged by the blood of Jesus Christ, and where it is God that justifieth. Because we have an Advocate there who ever liveth to make intercession for us, we may come with confidence to the throne of grace concerning the courts below, believing that the Lord reigns over all providence and that He will sooner send help from heaven for His people than that His purposes of mercy should fail.
Let us pray together.
O Lord our God, Thou seest all things as they exist, Thou knowest the need of those who are disabled and those who have suffered abuse and trauma, and Thou art the God of the hills and the God of the valleys, present in every place of need. We ask Thee to grant wisdom and exactness to those who prepare these papers, that what is written may be true and correct, and that no error may hinder that which is just. In Thy providence order the means of delivery, that what is sent may be received by the court before the extended deadline, and that no failure of hand or post may turn aside its course.
We entreat Thee for those who sit in judgment, that Thou wouldst incline their hearts to justice tempered with mercy, and that assistance may still be approved for those who are afflicted and dependent. Thou hast taught us that Thou art merciful, and we trust not in princes nor in forms alone, but in Thy living mercy through Jesus Christ our Lord, by whose stripes we are healed and by whose blood we are forgiven. Grant peace to those who wait and suffer, and let them know that though clouds may surround them, Thou art their light, and though storms rage, Thou art their might.
