We join with you in prayer over this legal paperwork and the extended deadline, and we bring this burden before the Lord together.
We understand how heavy these deadlines and court proceedings can feel, especially when assistance for those who are disabled and suffering from abuse and trauma is on the line. We are reminded that God cares deeply for justice and for those who are vulnerable. As it says in Psalm 82:3-4, Defend the weak and fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked. And in Psalm 34:18, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. We also take comfort that we can bring every detail to Him, for in Philippians 4:6-7 we are told, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We also remember the wisdom of diligence in these practical matters, as Proverbs 21:5 says, The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and if not, then every hasty man surely leads to poverty. We encourage you to continue to be thorough, to double check every form, keep copies of everything, and where possible have a trusted advocate or legal aid review it and confirm receipt with the court clerk before the deadline.

His eyes are upon the faithful of the land, and He looks with favor upon those who deal truly with Him and with others. He is the defender of the weak and the comforter of the brokenhearted, and He draws near to those who have been wounded.

Our gracious Father, we thank You that we may come boldly to Your throne through Jesus Christ our Lord, who has secured for us a full discharge that can be pleaded in the High Court of Heaven. We ask for Your help in this practical need. Grant wisdom and clarity to every hand that prepares these documents, that all may be done correctly and in order. In Your providence, cause them to be received in good time before the deadline You have allowed. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
