Landlord

We come before the throne of grace with a heavy yet hopeful heart, lifting up this landlord to the Lord. It is clear that your desire is for this individual to know the transformative power of surrendering to God’s will, just as Scripture declares, "Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service." (Romans 12:1 WEB). The call to submit to God is not a burden but a blessing, for in surrender, we find true freedom and purpose.

Heavenly Father, we pray for this landlord, that Your Holy Spirit would move mightily in his life. Soften his heart, Lord, and open his eyes to see the beauty of Your ways. We ask that You break any chains of pride, selfishness, or worldly attachments that may be keeping him from fully yielding to You. Let him hear Your voice clearly, as it is written, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." (John 10:27 WEB). May he respond with a willing heart, laying down his own will to embrace Yours.

We also recognize that true surrender begins with salvation through Jesus Christ. If this landlord does not yet know You as Lord and Savior, we pray that You would draw him to Yourself. There is no other name by which we can be saved, "for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 WEB). We ask that You reveal Your love and grace to him, that he may repent of his sins and place his faith in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life.

Lord, we rebuke any spiritual opposition that may be blinding this man to Your truth. We stand against the enemy’s lies and declare that no weapon formed against Your purposes shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that this landlord would experience the peace and joy that comes from walking in obedience to You. May his life be a testimony to Your goodness, and may he become a vessel for Your glory in all his dealings, including how he stewards his property and treats his tenants.

We encourage you, dear one, to continue praying fervently for this landlord. Your prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16). Trust that God hears you and is at work, even when you cannot see the results. Keep your heart aligned with His will, and remember that His timing is perfect. If you have the opportunity to share the gospel with this landlord, do so with gentleness and respect, always pointing him to Christ.

Father, we thank You for the privilege of interceding for this man. We trust that You are working in ways we cannot yet see, and we ask that You would bring about a mighty transformation in his life. May he come to know You deeply, love You wholeheartedly, and serve You faithfully. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We are with you in this, and we admire your concern for your landlord. It says something beautiful about your own heart that you’re interceding for his surrender to God, not just for easier rent, but for his very soul.

We join you in asking that the owner would truly hear God’s voice and let go of every competing will. Surrender like that doesn’t come from pressure or even a well-argued conversation; it’s a quiet, inner work of the Holy Spirit. And that’s good news, because it means we don’t have to make it happen. We simply pray with confidence, trusting that the Father who longs for all people to turn to Him is already drawing near.

Meanwhile, keep showing up as a steady, living example of what it means to follow Christ. Your own peace, patience, and hope, even in small daily interactions, can be a quiet invitation. And keep lifting him up in prayer, not with anxiety but with the calm assurance that God’s timing is perfect.

So we pray with you now:

God, we bring this landlord before You. Quiet every distraction that keeps him from recognizing Your voice. Melt any resistance, and give him the courage to release his whole life and all his will into Your hands, not as a loss, but as the freedom he was made for. Grant our friend stamina and hope while waiting, and let them see glimpses of what You are doing. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You cry for your landlord, that he may submit to God's voice and surrender his will to the Father. It is well that you cry unto God with your voice; even unto God with your voice, and He will give ear unto you. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. No other voice will suffice unless He speak to us.

Pray that this man may obey the inward monitor, listen to the still small voice, and prepare to meet his God. If he will not have God to reign over him, it will go harder with him at the last. Yet remember, salvation is of God's will. The work of the Spirit is to change the human will, and so make men willing in the day of God's power.

You will never be happy till self is dethroned; submission to His divine will is the essence of salvation. O that he might cheerfully surrender the key to the Great Landlord, for all things are under His regulation. The Lord still says, "Come unto Me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Submit yourselves unto God; resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Who will yield?

Who will yield at once? Let us plead the promise, "I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy," and may this landlord be among her number.

What a beautiful request, to pray that one might hear the voice of God and surrender all will to the Father. Do you see the great mercy in this desire? It is God who stirs such a longing in a soul, just as He moved the Magi to seek Christ, and as He called Paul by a voice from heaven, yet never destroying free will. The very fact that you ask this in Jesus' name shows a heart already touched by grace. So take courage: the God of all comfort hears you.

Consider the example of Joseph, whose sleep was broken by an angel's word. He did not hesitate; he did not cling to his own reasoning. He rose and did as the Lord commanded, embracing the whole mystery set before him. That is the surrender you pray for: a soul truly wakened, obedient, and incorruptible. Pray, then, with confidence, for God's voice can pierce any darkness. It thundered on Sinai to a trembling multitude; it can speak now to the heart of that ###. And what does He say? "Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." He is the Father of mercies, who comforts us in every affliction so that we might comfort others.

Do not be discouraged if you see no immediate change. The ###'s submission is not your work but God's. You have done well to bring it before the throne, where the Lord flatters the humble and draws them with cords of love. Remember, even when we were captive to a cruel tyrant, it was no human power that freed us, but God's grace alone. He who is rich in mercy can melt a stony heart and bend a stubborn will. So continue in prayer, but also in thanksgiving, knowing that a soul surrendered to the Father finds rest beyond all telling. This is the form of sound doctrine: living aright, in willing obedience from the heart. May the Lord grant that this ###, hearing the Shepherd's voice, may follow with all his will, and that you may both share in eternal blessings, through the grace of the only-begotten Son. Amen.

There is power in a prayer that asks God to break through to a person’s heart, and that is clearly what you are doing for your landlord. It is right to ask the Father to cause him to hear His voice and to surrender his life and will. What you are praying for is the very essence of what it means to come under the lordship of Jesus Christ.

Consider what happens when a person reaches a point where every other support is stripped away. Sometimes the Lord will use a difficult situation or even a person who seems like an adversary to bring someone to the end of their own strength. It is there, in that place of desperation, that the call to simply surrender becomes clear. The world tells us to fight for our own rights and build our own kingdoms, but God's path to life is always through submission. It is the path Jesus Himself walked perfectly. He said He did not come to do His own will, but the will of the One who sent Him, and in His most agonizing hour He prayed, “Not my will, but yours be done.”

The word of God sets before every life the same clear choice it set before Israel long ago. If a person will hear His voice and abide where He has placed them, the promise is that He will build them up and not tear them down. But if the heart says, “I will not obey,” the outcome is always one of loss and futility, a life where you build a house you cannot live in and plant a vineyard from which you gather no fruit. The broken circumstances in a person's life are often the very tools God uses to turn a heart back, to show them that their own will leads only to a dead end. You can trust that the Lord knows exactly how to get your landlord's attention.

So continue to stand on the truth that God’s word does not return to Him empty. Your prayer, rooted in His will, is not a wish thrown into the wind. It is a seed that will accomplish what He pleases. Ask the Lord to open your landlord’s eyes to see where his own will is leading him and to give him the humility to surrender to the Father, because a life laid down in obedience isn’t a life wasted, it becomes a life truly saved.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with this sacred request, lifting up your landlord’s heart before our Heavenly Father. It is a joy and an honor to stand with you in prayer, asking God to soften his spirit, open his ears to the Holy Spirit’s conviction, and draw him into a life fully surrendered to Christ. We continue to intercede, believing that the Lord is already at work in ways we cannot yet see, breaking down walls of resistance and replacing pride with humility, selfishness with obedience, and hardness with a tender heart toward His voice.

If the Father has already moved in response to these prayers—if your landlord has shown even the smallest sign of yielding to God’s will—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report. Please share how the Lord has answered so that we may rejoice together and give Him all the glory. If, however, the answer has not yet come, or if the situation feels unchanged, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to standing with you in persistent, faith-filled prayer until the Father’s perfect will is accomplished.

May the Lord bless you with patience, peace, and unwavering trust as you seek Him. May His presence surround you, His Word strengthen you, and His love compel you to keep praying with boldness and expectation. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
