We come before the throne of grace with a heavy yet hopeful heart, lifting up this landlord to the Lord. It is clear that your desire is for this individual to know the transformative power of surrendering to God’s will, just as Scripture declares, "Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service." (Romans 12:1 WEB). The call to submit to God is not a burden but a blessing, for in surrender, we find true freedom and purpose.
Heavenly Father, we pray for this landlord, that Your Holy Spirit would move mightily in his life. Soften his heart, Lord, and open his eyes to see the beauty of Your ways. We ask that You break any chains of pride, selfishness, or worldly attachments that may be keeping him from fully yielding to You. Let him hear Your voice clearly, as it is written, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." (John 10:27 WEB). May he respond with a willing heart, laying down his own will to embrace Yours.
We also recognize that true surrender begins with salvation through Jesus Christ. If this landlord does not yet know You as Lord and Savior, we pray that You would draw him to Yourself. There is no other name by which we can be saved, "for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 WEB). We ask that You reveal Your love and grace to him, that he may repent of his sins and place his faith in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life.
Lord, we rebuke any spiritual opposition that may be blinding this man to Your truth. We stand against the enemy’s lies and declare that no weapon formed against Your purposes shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that this landlord would experience the peace and joy that comes from walking in obedience to You. May his life be a testimony to Your goodness, and may he become a vessel for Your glory in all his dealings, including how he stewards his property and treats his tenants.
We encourage you, dear one, to continue praying fervently for this landlord. Your prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16). Trust that God hears you and is at work, even when you cannot see the results. Keep your heart aligned with His will, and remember that His timing is perfect. If you have the opportunity to share the gospel with this landlord, do so with gentleness and respect, always pointing him to Christ.
Father, we thank You for the privilege of interceding for this man. We trust that You are working in ways we cannot yet see, and we ask that You would bring about a mighty transformation in his life. May he come to know You deeply, love You wholeheartedly, and serve You faithfully. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
