Landlord

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus name for the owner to submit to God’s voice and surrenders his life and all his will to the Father!! Amen!!!🙏

We lift up this landlord before the throne of grace, asking that the Holy Spirit would convict his heart and draw him into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Father, Your Word declares in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." We pray this transformation over this man, that he would no longer resist Your voice but surrender his life, his possessions, and his will completely to You.

Lord, we know that true repentance and faith come by hearing Your Word (Romans 10:17), so we ask that You would send laborers across his path, believers who will share the Gospel with boldness and love. May he come to understand that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus, for "there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Soften his heart to receive the truth, that he may confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).

We also rebuke any spirit of greed, hardness, or worldliness that may be influencing his decisions, in the mighty name of Jesus. Your Word warns in 1 Timothy 6:10 that "the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil," and we pray that this man would not be ensnared by it. Instead, may he seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33), trusting You to provide for all his needs.

Father, we ask that You would bless this landlord with godly wisdom in his dealings with tenants, that he would act with justice, mercy, and integrity. May his life reflect the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). If he does not yet know You, we pray for his salvation. If he is a believer, we pray for his renewal and deeper surrender. Either way, we declare that no one is beyond Your reach, and we trust You to work powerfully in his life.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

It's encouraging to see you bringing your landlord before the Lord like this. We're joining you in that prayer, and we're grateful for a heart that won't simply write someone off but instead longs for their true good.

What you're asking for, that a person would hear God's voice and surrender everything to Him, is at the very center of what God Himself desires. So when we pray this way, we're not trying to change God's mind; we're simply aligning ourselves with what He already wants to do. That doesn't make the wait easy, but it does mean we can pray with real confidence, even when nothing seems to change outwardly.

Surrender is often a process, not a single moment. The owner may need time, maybe through circumstances we can't see, maybe through the quiet weight of your own consistent kindness and integrity as a tenant. While you pray, don't underestimate how your ordinary, steady life can be a witness. Paying rent on time, speaking respectfully, being patient, those small things can open a door that loud words never could.

For now, we'd simply encourage you to keep praying as you have been. Perhaps set a regular time each day just to lift this person up. When you see him, silently ask God to soften his heart. Those brief, faithful prayers are not wasted.

Let's pray together:

Father, we lift this landlord to You. You know his story, the walls he may have built, the fears or pride that keep him from fully letting go. We ask that Your voice would break through clearly, not just to his mind, but to the deepest places of his will. Give him ears to hear and a heart soft enough to respond. Until that day, give our friend here patience and steady hope. We trust You to finish what You've begun, and we thank You that no one is beyond Your reach. In Jesus' name, amen.

You carry a burden for the one who holds the keys to your dwelling, and you are right to bring it straight to the throne of grace. But let me ask you to lift your eyes a little: the house itself, with all its beams and bricks, and the breath in the lungs of the man who owns it, all of it belongs to another Landlord still. Neither you nor he are freeholders. You are both tenants at will, without a lease, and the true Owner keeps the title deeds in His own hands. Your landlord may not know it yet, but every sinew of his body, every coin in his purse, every beat of his heart is a thing borrowed from the God in whose hand his breath is. A man does not strut against his Maker for long without discovering that the roof above him is held up by mercy alone. This is not to set you fretting, but to steady you: the real Landlord has not lost the keys to any heart. He knows where this soul lives.

You are praying for a surrender, and that is a prayer after God’s own heart. The Lord has a way of winning men that we cannot fathom. He aims His arrows at the lofty, it is true, but the moment a heart begins to bend, His pity runs to the front. I have seen stubborn wills dissolve not under thunder but under the still, small dew of His love. So do not let your prayers grow thin or weary. Plead God’s own character with Him, remind Him that He gives grace to the humble, that He is the God who takes the sinner’s side the instant the sinner yields. Half an hour spent pleading the truth of His salvation can do more than a whole day of anxious turning the matter over in your mind. In prayer you come close, and in that closeness He builds you up even as you intercede. You may find that while you are seeking your landlord’s good, your own soul is fattened on the milk and wine of the gospel.

Keep bringing that name before your Father. Ask that he would stop kicking against the goads and find that the yoke he fears is lined with love. Ask that he would learn, maybe through a quiet thought in the night or a word he hardly knew he heard, that to submit is not to be crushed but to be carried. The door of surrender opens inward, and on the other side stands Christ with hands full of grace.

Let us lift him up now.

Lord Jesus, the one we name before You does not yet call You Lord, but You know every lane and chamber of his heart. Gently, mightily, take Your rightful place upon the throne of his will. Stop his ears to every voice but Yours, and let him hear behind him a word saying, “This is the way.” Overcome him with the same love that overcame us, and make him a glad tenant in the house of the Father, a son instead of a stranger. Until that day, steady Your child who prays. Give peace in the waiting and a quiet confidence that You are afoot in this matter. In Your name, the name above every name, we rest our case. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
