We lift up this landlord before the throne of grace, asking that the Holy Spirit would convict his heart and draw him into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Father, we know that no one can come to You unless the Spirit first draws them, and so we pray for a divine encounter, one that breaks through pride, worldly distractions, and any resistance to Your call. May this man hear Your voice clearly, as You spoke to Saul on the road to Damascus, and respond in repentance and faith.
Lord, we declare that true surrender is not a one-time event but a daily yielding to Your will. We pray that this landlord would lay down his own plans, ambitions, and desires at the foot of the cross, embracing the life of obedience and joy that comes from walking with You. May he experience the peace that surpasses all understanding as he submits to Your lordship in every area of his life, his finances, his relationships, his business, and his heart.
We rebuke any spirit of greed, selfishness, or hardness of heart that may be influencing his decisions, especially in his role as a landlord. May he be a steward of Your resources, treating his tenants with fairness, compassion, and integrity, as You have commanded us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Let his life reflect the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Father, we also pray for divine wisdom to guide him in managing his property in a way that honors You. May he see his work not just as a means of income but as an opportunity to serve others and glorify Your name. If there are any ungodly practices or attitudes in his business dealings, we ask that You expose them and lead him to repentance.
We stand on Your promise in Ezekiel 36:26-27: "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes. You will keep my ordinances and do them." Lord, do this work in him! Break every chain of sin and rebellion, and replace his heart with one that beats in rhythm with Yours.
We also pray for protection over his mind and spirit. The enemy would love to keep him blinded to the truth, but we declare that the eyes of his heart will be enlightened to see the hope of Your calling. Surround him with godly influences, believers who will speak life, truth, and encouragement into his situation. May he be drawn to a Bible-believing church where he can grow in his faith and be discipled in Your ways.
Father, we thank You that You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. Even now, we believe that You are working in this man’s life, softening his heart and preparing him to receive Your grace. May he one day stand before You, not as a stranger, but as a beloved child, redeemed by the blood of Jesus.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
