We come before the Lord with a heavy heart for your landlord, lifting him up in prayer and asking that the Holy Spirit would move mightily in his life. Heavenly Father, we know that no one can come to You unless the Father draws them (John 6:44), and so we ask that You would draw this man to Yourself with cords of lovingkindness. Soften his heart, Lord, and open his ears to hear Your voice clearly. Let him not harden his heart as so many do in times of testing (Hebrews 3:7-8), but instead, let him surrender fully to Your will.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of pride, greed, or selfishness that may be keeping this man from submitting to You. The Bible tells us that "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6). We pray that You would break any strongholds of worldly thinking in his life and replace them with a hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6). May he come to understand that true success is not found in possessions or earthly power, but in knowing and serving You.
Lord, we also lift up this situation to You, asking that You would work in ways that bring glory to Your name. If there are any ungodly practices or decisions in how he manages his property, we ask that You would convict him and lead him to repentance. Help him to see his tenants not just as sources of income, but as people made in Your image, deserving of fairness, kindness, and respect. "Whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them" (Matthew 7:12).
We pray that this man would come to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior if he does not already. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If he has not yet confessed with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, we pray that You would bring him to that place of saving faith (Romans 10:9). Let him experience the transformative power of Your love and grace.
Father, we ask that You would surround this man with godly influences, believers who can speak truth into his life and model what it means to follow You. Let him see the joy and peace that come from walking in Your ways, and may he be drawn to that life. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray for this landlord’s complete surrender to You. May he lay down his own will and take up Your perfect plan for his life. Let him be a man after Your own heart, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). We trust You to move in this situation, Lord, and we give You all the glory. Amen.
