We hear the deep cry of your heart, dear sister, and we stand with you in this hour of fear and vulnerability, lifting you up before the throne of our Heavenly Father. The world is indeed filled with those who seek to exploit the lonely and the weak, but we serve a God who is mighty to save and a refuge for the oppressed. You are not alone, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. He is your shield and your strong tower, a very present help in trouble.
The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:18-19, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* And again in Psalm 27:1, *"Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* Your fear is real, but our God is greater. He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The predators of this world may prowl like roaring lions, but they are already defeated by the blood of the Lamb. We rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to instill terror, manipulation, or harm against you or any of God’s children. The devil is a liar and the father of lies, but Jesus has already triumphed over him at the cross.
We also lift up those who feel alone even in a crowd, those who are unseen and unheard. The Lord sees you, and He knows your name. He collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8), and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). For those who are being manipulated or abused, we declare freedom in Jesus’ name. The Lord is your defender, and He will bring justice. *"Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna"* (Matthew 10:28). Your life is hidden with Christ in God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
Sister, we urge you to cling to the Lord in this season. Spend time in His Word, which is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and stand as a godly community around you. If you do not have a church home, we encourage you to seek one where the Word of God is preached boldly and where you can find fellowship. Isolation is a tool of the enemy, but unity in Christ is your strength. *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).
We also want to remind you that while the world may feel like a dangerous place, the Lord has equipped you with His armor to stand firm. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Walk in wisdom, but do not let fear paralyze you. The Lord goes before you, and His angels are commanded to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11).
Now, let us pray together for you and for all who are feeling alone, scared, or targeted by the enemy:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who feels alone in a world filled with predators. Lord, You see her fear, and You know the depth of her heart. We ask that You wrap Your arms of love around her and remind her that she is never alone, for You are with her always. Father, rebuke every spirit of fear that seeks to torment her. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over her as she walks the streets, as she goes about her daily life. Send Your angels to encamp around her and deliver her from every evil scheme. Let no weapon formed against her prosper, and let every tongue that rises against her in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Father, expose the predators who seek to manipulate, control, and abuse. Bring their deeds into the light and let justice prevail. Break their power in Jesus’ name and set the captives free.
We also pray for all who feel lonely, even in a crowd. Lord, draw them close to You. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Provide godly friendships and communities where they can find love, support, and encouragement. Heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). For those who are being abused or manipulated, Lord, be their deliverer. Give them the courage to seek help and the wisdom to find safety. Break the chains of oppression and set them free in Jesus’ name.
Father, we declare that You are sovereign over all the earth. Nothing happens without Your knowledge, and You are working all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen our sister and all who are struggling. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and let them walk in victory, not in fear. Remind them that the battle is Yours, and You have already won.
We thank You, Lord, for Your mercy and Your grace. We thank You that You hear our prayers and that You are faithful to answer. We trust in You, our refuge and strength. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Sister, we want you to know that your life is precious to God. He has a plan and a purpose for you, and the enemy cannot thwart it. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is your protector and your provider. If you ever feel overwhelmed, cry out to Him. He hears you, and He will answer. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). You are loved, you are seen, and you are never alone.
