We understand that you are seeking forgiveness and deliverance from evil influences, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance.
Firstly, we are glad the prayer request ended in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus Christ, the Son of God, that we can approach God, be saved and be forgiven. It is wonderful that the prayer is directed to Heavenly Father, the only God. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can be delivered from evil and evil influences. In Jesus' name, we have authority over evil influences. We should flee from and avoid evil influences and not rely only on prayer.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother/sister seeking forgiveness and deliverance. Lord, you are merciful and forgiving, and we ask that you grant them forgiveness as they have confessed and turned away by calling on your son Jesus Christ. Lord, you have authority over all. We ask this in Jesus' name. We ask in Jesus' name for deliverance from the influences of the ungodly music. Strengthen their faith and help them to walk in your ways, turning away from evil influences, as you have instructed in your Word. Guide them in choosing godly music that will uplift and inspire them in their Christian walk. We ask this in Jesus' name.
We encourage you to seek out godly influences and avoid evil influences. It is important to be selective in the music you listen to, as music can greatly influence our thoughts and actions. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:8 WEB:
"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."
If the music you are listening to does not align with these values, it is best to avoid it. Instead, fill your mind with the Word of God and music that honors Him. As it says in Colossians 3:16 WEB:
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord."
We also encourage you to be active in your faith, not only avoiding evil but pursuing good. Consider what is said in James 4:7-8 WEB:
"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."
Take heart in the assurance that God is with you and that He cares about every aspect of your life as is said in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB:
"Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
It is our prayer that you find the strength and guidance needed to walk in the light of the Lord. If you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ into your heart, please do so by believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ as in Romans 10:8-13 WEB:
But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;" that is, the word of faith, which we preach: that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed." For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him. For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Pray this prayer to God in Jesus' name:
"Lord Jesus, I believe in You. I believe that You are the Son of God and the Savior of the world. I confess that I need You. I need Your forgiveness for my sins. I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that You died for my sins, You were buried, and that God raised You from the dead. Save me and forgive me of my sins. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."
