Beloved Warrior
🙏 Father, thank You for the apostolic prayers, some of which are “I pray that your love abounds still more and more in true knowledge and real discerning, so we perceive what is best (Make the Best Choices, distinguish the things that differ), Phil 1:9-10. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, pleasing You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, growing by increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power, according to the might of Your glory, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience, joyously giving thanks to You who qualified us to share in the INHERITANCE of the saints in light, Col 1:9-12.

Father, we are always praying that we may stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, Col 4:12. We ask for practical wisdom, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as children to be lead by The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14. Restore our souls, lead us in paths of righteousness for Your Name's sake, Ps 23:3. Jesus, be our Good Shepherd, lead us and let us hear Your voice, Jn 10:4-5, 27. Forgive our debts as we forgive and pray for the salvation of our debtors... Thank you for angels sent forth to render service for our sake, Heb 1:14, given charge over us to keep us in our (Your) ways, Ps 91:10-11. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13. We pray we would do no wrong, 1 Cor 16:9. Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, keep us from evil people, 2Thes 3:2. We agree with Jesus, You take us NOT out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your earnest desire to know and obey God’s will, seeking His wisdom and protection in every area of life. Your prayer reflects a deep longing to walk in alignment with Scripture, and we join with you in lifting these petitions before our Heavenly Father.

The apostolic prayers you’ve referenced—Philippians 1:9-10 and Colossians 1:9-12—are powerful reminders of God’s desire for His children to grow in discernment, love, and spiritual maturity. It is beautiful to see your hunger to "perceive what is best" and to "walk in a manner worthy of the Lord," bearing fruit in every good work. This is the heart of a true disciple, and we pray that the Holy Spirit would continue to cultivate this in you. As James 1:5 assures us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We stand with you in asking for this wisdom, that you may be led by the Spirit in all things, as Romans 8:14 declares, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God."

Your prayer also reflects a deep trust in the Lord as your Shepherd, echoing the words of Psalm 23:3, "He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake." We rejoice in your desire to hear the voice of Jesus, the Good Shepherd, and we pray that you would grow in intimacy with Him, knowing His leading more clearly each day. John 10:27 reminds us, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." May you always recognize His voice above all others and follow Him with unwavering faith.

We also lift up your request for protection from sin, evil, and temptation. It is right to pray, as our Lord taught us, "Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one" (Matthew 6:13). The enemy seeks to devour, but we take comfort in the promise of Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We pray that God’s angels would indeed encamp around you, shielding you from every snare of the enemy. Let us also remember that while we are not to be taken out of the world, we are called to be set apart from its ways. As 1 John 5:18 reminds us, "We know that whoever is born of God doesn’t sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn’t touch him." May you walk in this truth, standing firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and may the Lord keep you from every form of evil—whether it be temptation, deception, or the influence of those who would lead you astray.

Your prayer also touches on the importance of forgiveness, both receiving it and extending it to others. This is a foundational principle of our faith. As Colossians 3:13 instructs, "Bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do." We pray that your heart would remain tender toward the Lord and others, quick to forgive and slow to take offense. May you also intercede for those who have wronged you, that they too might come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

We must also address the importance of ensuring that our prayers are offered in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father. As John 14:6 declares, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only through faith in His finished work on the cross that we have access to God’s throne of grace. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, "That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Salvation is a gift of grace, received by faith alone in Christ alone.

Let us now join together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your goodness and mercy. We thank You for the gift of Your Word, which guides us into all truth, and for the indwelling Holy Spirit, who leads us in paths of righteousness. Lord, we lift up this dear brother or sister who seeks to know and obey Your will. Fill them afresh with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that they may walk in a manner worthy of You, pleasing You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen them with all power, according to the might of Your glory, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience. May they be rooted and grounded in love, able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).

Lord, we pray for protection over their life. Keep them from temptation, deliver them from evil, and guard their hearts and minds from the schemes of the enemy. Send Your angels to encamp around them, to keep them in all their ways. May they do no wrong, but walk in integrity and truth, shining as lights in this dark world.

We also pray for their relationships, Father. If they are seeking a spouse, we ask that You would bring a godly man or woman into their life—someone who loves You above all else, who will walk with them in faith, and who will honor the covenant of marriage as You designed it. May they pursue purity in all their relationships, fleeing from sexual immorality and honoring You with their bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).

Father, we ask that You would restore their soul and lead them in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. May they hear the voice of Jesus, their Good Shepherd, and follow Him wholeheartedly. Give them a spirit of discernment, that they may perceive what is best and choose the highest good in every situation.

We thank You, Lord, for the promise of Your Word, that whatever we ask in Jesus’ name, You will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. We trust in Your faithfulness and ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, dear friend, echoing your heartfelt desire to know and obey God's will. It's beautiful to see your hunger for spiritual growth, discernment, and a life pleasing to the Lord. We're reminded of Paul's words in Philippians 1:9-10, "And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ." We pray that the Holy Spirit would cultivate this in you, leading you in paths of righteousness and understanding.

We also join you in asking for protection from sin, evil, and temptation. As you've prayed, we too ask that God would guard your heart and mind, keeping you from every snare of the enemy. Let's remember that while we live in this world, we are not to be conformed to its ways, but transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). May you walk in this truth, standing firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Lastly, we're touched by your mention of forgiveness. It's a powerful key that unlocks not only our freedom but also our ability to love as God loves us. We pray that your heart would remain tender, quick to forgive, and slow to take offense. May you also intercede for those who have wronged you, that they too might come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Let's continue to lift each other up in prayer, dear friend, knowing that we serve a God who hears and answers. Trusting in His faithfulness, we pray all these things in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
