🙌 Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, but like the rain and snow come down from heaven to water the earth and make it vivacious, so is the Word effective in fulfilling the purposes You have ordained for it to accomplish, Isa 55:10-11. Thank You the seed is the Word of God, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this wife's heart by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6.

🧎🏽‍♂️CONTINUE to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

🙌 Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

🙌 Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more, great and mighty things, Jer 33:3, beyond all we can ask of imagine, Eph 3:20, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, The Amen, Faithful Witness, Originator of God's Creation, Rev 3:14, in Him are all the Promises Inherited, Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in lifting up this marriage and this wife and mother before the throne of grace and we thank God for your faithful heart to plant and water and trust Him for the increase.

We are encouraged by your understanding that it is the kindness of God that leads to repentance Rom 2:4 and that one plants, another waters, but God gives the growth 1 Cor 3:6. Your desire is not for strife or control but for godly repentance and for godly mothering within the covenant of marriage, which we affirm as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman designed by God to reflect Christ and His church. We pray for a marriage that honors Him, where a husband loves his wife as Christ loved the church Eph 5:25 and where a wife embraces her calling to love her children and to guide her household in holiness Titus 2:4-5.

We agree that the Word of God does not return void but accomplishes what He purposes and succeeds in the thing He sent it to do Isa 55:11. The seed is the Word Mark 4:14 and you have been faithful to sow it. We trust with you that He who began a good work will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ Phil 1:6 and that all glory belongs to Him, for from Him and through Him and to Him are all things Rom 11:36. Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name give glory Ps 115:1. Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb Rev 7:10.

We also take comfort as you do that the steps of a man are established by Yahweh Ps 37:23. As He directed Philip to the Ethiopian reading Isaiah Acts 8:26 and sent Ananias to Saul Acts 9:10 and directed Paul through a vision to Macedonia Acts 16:9, so He is able to order the steps of others across your wife's path to speak truth, to water seed, and to show the kindness that leads to repentance. He is patient, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Pet 3:9, and He desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:4. We pray He continues to restrain evil and to carry forward every work He has begun in her heart and in the hearts of your children and family, your patriarchal and matriarchal figures, your progeny and posterity.

We are reminded that the Word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit and judging the thoughts and intentions of the heart Heb 4:12. The Holy Spirit convicts the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment John 16:8. Before honor comes humility Prov 18:12 and God is able to humble the proud and restore those who come to their senses Dan 4:34, Dan 4:37 as He did with Nebuchadnezzar, as the prodigal came to himself Luke 15:17 and as He promised to hedge up the way of the unfaithful to turn her back Hos 2:6. We pray for that godly sorrow that works repentance to salvation which brings no regret 2 Cor 7:10 and for escape from the snare of the devil after being taken captive to do his will 2 Tim 2:26.

So we pray together.

Father, we thank You that You are always working John 5:17 and that Your Word is effective. We ask in the name of Jesus that You continue to work on this wife's heart. Soften what is hard, humble what is proud, and grant repentance toward You and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. Lead her into godly mothering, that she may raise her children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord Eph 6:4 and that her home may be a place of grace and truth. Bring faithful laborers across her path to water every seed that has been planted these past months and years, and keep her and us and our children and all who have heard Your Word from evil, deception, and the evil one, as we receive the love of the truth that we may be saved 2 Thess 2:10. Establish her steps and ours and keep us as faithful stewards of the mysteries of God 1 Cor 4:1. Teach this husband to continue in kindness, patience, and fervent prayer, for the insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective James 5:16. We thank You in advance, believing that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we will receive Mark 11:24. You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You Heb 11:6. Show us great and mighty things which we do not know Jer 33:3 and do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think Eph 3:20. We ask this in the name of Jesus, for whatever we ask in His name He will do that the Father may be glorified in the Son John 14:13, in whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen to the glory of God through us 2 Cor 1:20, the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of God's creation Rev 3:14.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in planting and watering with gentleness and truth, to continue in prayer without ceasing 1 Thess 5:17, and to trust the Lord for the harvest in His perfect timing. He is faithful and He hears.

Thank you for bringing your wife and family before the Lord so faithfully. We hear how much you long to see God at work in her heart as a wife and mother, and how you are trusting Him to take the seeds that have been planted and bring growth in His time.

One thing that has helped us when we pray for loved ones is remembering that growth is usually slow and quiet. We plant and others water, but God alone brings the increase, and He does it over a lifetime with ups and downs, not all at once. That can make the waiting hard, but it also takes the pressure off you to make change happen.

A simple next step that may encourage you is to keep doing what you are doing, faithfully planting truth with kindness and letting others around her do the same, while you bring your requests to God regularly in prayer. If you have a trusted pastor or couple who knows you both, staying connected with them for encouragement as you walk this out can help you stay steady.

Father, we lift this wife and mother to You and ask You to work gently in her heart, drawing her closer to Yourself and strengthening her in the calling You have given her. Keep this husband as he loves and prays, give him wisdom and patience, and guard their home and children in Your care. Let Your name be honored in their family. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your prayer and we join with you in thanking God for His great goodness and for His Word which does not return void. Like the rain and snow that come down from heaven to water the earth, so His Word fulfills the purpose for which He sends it, and we rejoice that the seed, which is the Word of God, has been planted.

You have prayed rightly that the goodness of God may lead this dear wife to repentance, according to Romans 2:4. It is the goodness of God which is meant to lead sinners to repentance. The sweetest and best repentance is that which comes not by driving but by drawing. He spares and He is patient, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, and His forbearance is a token of His mercy to draw the heart to Himself. We pray with you that she may see that goodness and be led to think of Him against whom sin is committed, that holy and glorious Being, and feel a holy indignation against sin itself.

We must remember also what true repentance is. There is a repentance that is after a fashion, a carnal repentance that is of the flesh, which does not give God glory and does not last. But there is a repentance unto life, which is a true sign of eternal salvation in Christ, wrought in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit. True repentance gives God glory. It yields works meet for repentance, it is practical and it lasts, it lives as long as faith lives. It is not a mere trembling before the Word or a complacency toward it, nor a sorrow that passes when health or ease returns, but a godly sorrow that needs not to be repented of, which makes a rainbow with tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work.

Such repentance is preached in the name of Jesus, for it is the gift of God. We do not preach repentance as Moses preached it, nor merely as a preparation, but as that which Christ Himself gives. Repentance and remission of sins go together, and where there is true repentance there is full and free forgiveness. And repentance and faith are inseparable. The repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant is joined to the faith which admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart. The repentance which we desire for this wife is that which leads her to look out of self to Christ, and to Christ only, to weep and abhor the past because the love of Christ has pardoned it, and to avoid present sin because of the love of God who died for her.

You have asked well concerning planting and watering and God giving the increase, from 1 Corinthians 3:6 and 7. One plants, another waters, but God gives the growth. So we take comfort that to Him alone belongs the glory, as Psalm 115 declares, not unto us but unto His name. Our part is to be faithful in planting and watering, in speaking truth and showing kindness, in ordering our steps as He directs, as He directed Philip to the Ethiopian and Ananias to Saul and Paul to Macedonia. His part is to give life. The Word of God is living and active and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit and judging the thoughts and intents of the heart, and the Holy Spirit convicts of sin and righteousness and judgment according to John 16:8.

Therefore we continue to pray with you that the Lord will bring others across her path to water what has been sown, that He will restrain evil and carry on every good work begun until the day of Christ, according to Philippians 1:6, that He will humble where humbling is needed, for before honour comes humility, and that as with Nebuchadnezzar and with the prodigal who came to himself, she may come to her senses and return. We pray that she may know the blessedness of godly mothering within the holy estate of marriage, which is not a less sacred thing than any other calling consecrated to Christ, but a high and holy service to the Lord.

May the Lord keep you and her and your children and all who have heard the Word, from evil and deception and temptation, and cause you to receive the love of the truth that you may be saved. We thank Him in advance, believing that He rewards those who diligently seek Him and that the fervent prayer of the righteous avails much. May He do beyond all that we ask or imagine, and may all glory be from Him and through Him and to Him forever, through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom all the promises are Yes and Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in thanking God for His kindness and for His Word which does not return void but accomplishes what He purposes, like rain that waters the earth and makes it fruitful. Your prayer reflects a right desire, that this wife would know the kindness of God that leads to repentance, and that she would walk in godly mothering and faithful living before Him.

Scripture teaches that it is God who gives the growth. As you have said, one plants and another waters, but God gives the increase. Our part is to be faithful to plant the seed which is the Word of God and to water it with truth, prayer, and acts of kindness, and to trust Him to bring forth life in His time and for His glory alone. As the psalm says, not to us but to His name be glory, and as you quoted, from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.

We also pray with you that God would grant true repentance. The sorrow that God desires is not mere regret or tears, but a godly sorrow that works repentance unto salvation, not to be regretted. There is a sorrow of the world that works death, but godly sorrow turns the heart away from sin and toward Christ. We have seen in Scripture that tears alone are not repentance if the heart does not turn, as Esau sought the blessing with tears yet did not truly repent. So we ask that the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin and righteousness and judgment, would bring a deep and humble work, that she would come to her senses as those who were humbled and restored, and that before honor there would be true humility.

For marriage and motherhood, God has ordained marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, honorable and pure. Holiness in this estate is chaste and orderly living, each remaining faithful to the other and preserving the holiness that comes through faith. The profit of marriage is to preserve the body in purity and to build a home ordered toward God, where children are received as a blessing and raised in the nurture and instruction of the Lord. We pray that this wife would be strengthened to embrace that calling, to love her husband and to shepherd her children with a gentle and faithful spirit, finding joy not in the patterns of this world but in the grace of Christ.

We thank God that His Word is living and active, sharper than any two edged sword, judging the thoughts and intentions of the heart, and that the Father is always working. We ask Him to continue the good work He has begun and to carry it on to completion until the day of Christ, to bring others across her path to speak truth in love and to show the kindness that leads to repentance, to order her steps and to restrain evil, and to keep you and your household, your children and all who have heard the Word, from deception, temptation and the evil one, as you hold fast to the love of the truth.

We will continue to pray that she would receive Christ alone for salvation, for salvation belongs to our God who sits upon the throne and to the Lamb, and that she would be made righteous through faith, knowing that the fervent prayer of the righteous avails much. May the Lord in His perfect patience, who desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance and to the knowledge of the truth, do great and mighty things beyond all we ask or imagine, all for His glory and in the name of Jesus, in whom all the promises are yes and amen.
