Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, but like the rain and snow come down from heaven to water the earth and make it vivacious, so is the Word effective in fulfilling the purposes You have ordained for it to accomplish, Isa 55:10-11. Thank You the seed is the Word of God, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this wife's heart by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6.

CONTINUE to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. We join you in this beautiful and faithful prayer for this wife to come to repentance and to embrace godly mothering, and we thank God for your heart that desires to see His kindness lead her to life and His glory revealed in your family.

We are encouraged by your understanding that it is indeed the kindness of God that leads to repentance as it says in Rom 2:4, not harshness or striving in our own strength. You have rightly understood the partnership of planting and watering while trusting God alone for the growth, for as it is written in 1 Cor 3:6-7 we may plant and water but God gives the increase, and that keeps all the glory where it belongs, Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your loving kindness, and for your truth's sake in Ps 115:1. We also join you in thanking God that His Word does not return void but accomplishes what He pleases as promised in Isa 55:10-11, and that the seed is the Word of God as taught in Mark 4:14.

We pray with you that the Lord will continue the good work He has begun until the day of Jesus Christ according to Phil 1:6, and we ask Him to continue to order steps and bring divinely appointed encounters to water the seeds that have been sown, just as He ordered the steps of Philip to the Ethiopian in Acts 8:26-31 and directed Ananias to Saul in Acts 9:10-11 and guided Paul and his companions in Acts 16:6-10. We rest in the truth that the steps of a good man are ordered by Yahweh in Ps 37:23 and that our God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance in 2 Pet 3:9, desiring all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth in 1 Tim 2:4.

We lift up this dear wife and mother before the throne and ask for the convicting and illuminating work of the Holy Spirit, for Jesus said He will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment in John 16:8. We pray that the Word of God, which is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword in Heb 4:12, would pierce her heart and judge the thoughts and intents of her heart with truth and grace. We ask that before honor would come humility as Prov 18:12 teaches, and that God in His mercy would humble and restore as He did with Nebuchadnezzar in Dan 4:34-37, so that she may come to her senses and escape the snare of the devil as in 2 Tim 2:26, like the prodigal who came to himself in Luke 15:17 and like the wife in Hos 2:6-7 who was hedged in so she would return.

We pray for you who are planting and praying, that you would be strengthened to love your wife as Christ loved the church in Eph 5:25, showing the same kindness of God that leads to repentance, dwelling with her according to knowledge and honoring her as a fellow heir of the grace of life in 1 Pet 3:7, and that your marriage would be a testimony of a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman that honors God. We pray for godly mothering to flourish in her, that she would love her children and guide her household in the fear of the Lord as described in Titus 2:5 and Prov 31:26-28, and that your progeny and posterity and all the patriarchal and matriarchal figures you mentioned would be kept from evil and deception and be preserved by receiving the love of the truth as in 2 Thess 2:10.

We thank God with you in advance by faith according to Mark 11:24, believing He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him in Heb 11:6 and that the effective prayer of a righteous person can accomplish much in James 5:16. We also rejoice that our Father is always working even until now and that Jesus Himself is working in John 5:17, and that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think in Eph 3:20 and to show us great and mighty things when we call to Him in Jer 33:3.

Father, we thank You for every seed of Your Word that has been planted in this wife, in her family, and in all who have heard over these many months. We ask You to water those seeds through faithful witnesses, through Your kindness, and through Your Word, and to grant repentance that leads to salvation without regret in 2 Cor 7:10. Humble what needs humbling, soften what has been hardened, restrain all evil and the evil one, and carry to completion the work You have begun. Let salvation be clearly seen as belonging to our God who sits on the throne and to the Lamb in Rev 7:10. We ask all of this in the mighty and only name by which we have access to You and by which we are saved, Jesus Christ our Lord, for whatever we ask in His name He will do in John 14:13-14, and in Him all the promises of God are Yes and Amen in 2 Cor 1:20. We hear the love and burden in your prayer for your wife and your family, and the way you are asking for God's kindness to do its deep work in her heart as a mother and as His child.

What encouraged us in what you shared is that picture of planting and watering. That is the faithful part we are given to do, to keep sowing truth in love, to keep praying, to keep living out the Word before her. Growth itself belongs to God, and He is patient and purposeful in how He brings it.

Spiritual growth is rarely instant or in a straight line. It is usually slow and gradual, with seasons that feel like going forward and then circling back over the same ground again. True repentance is not just feeling sorry for a time, but a change of mind that begins to show in a changed direction. That kind of change takes time, the Spirit's work, and steady nourishment through the Word, prayer, worship, and fellowship with other believers. There is no one formula, God works with each of us personally.

So we will keep joining you in asking Him to keep watering every seed that has been planted, to bring the right people and the right truth at the right time, and to give you grace to stay faithful and hopeful while He works.

Father, we thank You for Your kindness and patience toward us all. We ask You to keep working in this wife's heart, to draw her gently to Yourself and to strengthen her as a mother, and to guard this family. Give her husband wisdom, peace, and perseverance as he loves her well. We trust this work to You and ask it in Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for your wife is heard, and it is a good and right thing to plead that the kindness of God should lead her to repentance. The Scripture saith, despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance, Romans 2:4. It is not the whip alone that drives the soul home, but the drawing of divine kindness. You have done well to plant the seed, which is the Word of God, and to ask that others may water it, remembering that neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth, but God that giveth the increase, 1 Corinthians 3:6 and 7. Yours is to sow with tears and prayers, and to trust the Lord of the harvest to make it vivacious and fruitful in his season, for his Word shall not return void, but shall accomplish that which he pleaseth, Isaiah 55:11.

Take care to distinguish that repentance which is unto life from that which is carnal and fleeting. There is a repentance that is of the flesh, wrought by fear or by judgment, which repents not to give him glory. True repentance, which is the gift of God and is preached in the name of Jesus, gives God glory. It is not a mere trembling before the Word, nor a complacency toward it, nor a vow made upon a sick bed and forgotten when health returns. True repentance yields works meet for repentance, it is practical and it lasts, for repentance lives as long as faith lives. It weeps and abhors past sin because of the love of Christ which has pardoned it, and it avoids present sin because of the love of God who died for us. It looks out of self to Christ, and to Christ only, for remission. Where there is no such repentance there can be no remission, but where there is godly sorrow, that sorrow which needeth not to be repented of, there is full and free forgiveness.

Therefore continue to pray that the Holy Spirit, whose office it is to convince of sin, John 16:8, will pierce her heart as with a two edged sword, Hebrews 4:12, and humble her as he humbled Nebuchadnezzar, that she may come to her senses as the prodigal did when he came to himself in the far country, Luke 15:17, and as Hosea's wife was hedged about till she returned. Before honour is humility, Proverbs 18:12, and the Lord is perfect and patient, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. He who hath begun a good work will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ, Philippians 1:6. Pray also that you may be kept from evil and deception by receiving the love of the truth, and that all glory may be not unto us, but unto his name, Psalm 115:1, for salvation belongeth unto our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

Be not weary in well doing. Keep planting, keep watering, keep pleading that the Lord would order steps as he did for Philip and the Ethiopian, and for Ananias to find Saul, Acts 8 and 9, and trust that fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much, James 5:16. Sweet sister repentance is charming company, and when she comes with tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the finished work of Christ, she makes a rainbow in the soul. May the Lord grant to your wife such a repentance unto life, that she may be restored to purity, with a clean heart and a right spirit renewed within her, to walk as a godly wife and mother in the fear of the Lord, which is a fountain of life, and to find her joy in Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation. We ask this not for our merit, but in the name of Jesus, the Amen, in whom all the promises are yea and amen, 2 Corinthians 1:20.
