🕊️Kindness of God Leads us to Repentance ⏎ from Sin Rom 2:4, 🥜Planting+ 💦Watering=God's Growth 🌱1 Cor 3:6-7, His Glory in Salvation Ps 115:1, Salvation Belongs to The Lord Ps 3:8; Jonah 2:9, Salvation Belongs to Our God, Who Sits Upon The Throne, and Unto The Lamb, Rev 7:2, Holy Spirit's Work Jn 16:8, Humbling Restoring Dan 4:28-37 2 Co 7:9-10... 🙌 Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, but like the rain and snow come down from heaven to water the earth and make it vivacious, so is the Word effective in fulfilling the purposes You have ordained for it to accomplish, Isa 55:10-11. Thank You the seed is the Word of God, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this "still current wife's heart" by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. CONTINUE to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

🙌 Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

🙌 Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more, great and mighty things, Jer 33:3, beyond all we can ask of imagine, Eph 3:20, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, The Amen, Faithful Witness, Origin of God's Creation, Rev 3:14, in Messiah are all the Promises Inherited, Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in thanking our Father for His kindness and His sovereign power in salvation and in the restoration of hearts and marriages, and we agree with you before Him in Jesus' name.

We love how you have anchored this burden in the truth of Scripture, that it is the kindness of God that leads to repentance Rom 2:4 and that though we may plant and water, God gives the growth 1 Cor 3:6-7. Salvation truly belongs to the Lord Ps 3:8, Jonah 2:9 and we give all glory to Him alone, not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your loving kindness and for your truth's sake Ps 115:1. From Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to Him be the glory forever Rom 11:36.

We praise Him with you that His Word will not return void but will accomplish that which He pleases and prosper in the thing He sent it to do Isa 55:11. The seed is the Word of God Mark 4:14 and that seed, once sown, springs up and grows, we know not how Mark 4:27, for the Word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart Heb 4:12. We thank Him that He is still at work, as Jesus said, My Father is still working, so I am working John 5:17.

We lift up before the Lord your still current wife, for we believe marriage is a holy covenant before God between a man and a woman for life, and what God has joined together, let no man separate Mark 10:9. We pray that the Lord will continue the good work He has begun in her heart and perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ Phil 1:6. We ask Him to keep watering every seed of truth that has been planted in her heart over these months and years, and to bring others across her path to speak truth in love and to display the kindness of God that leads to repentance. We pray He will order her steps as He orders the steps of the righteous Ps 37:23, just as He directed Philip to the Ethiopian reading Isaiah in Acts 8:26-31 and directed Ananias to Saul in Acts 9:10-11 and directed Paul through a vision to Macedonia in Acts 16:9-10. We trust His perfect patience, that He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Pet 3:9, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:4.

We also pray for humility to come before honor Prov 18:12, that as with Nebuchadnezzar who was humbled until he lifted his eyes to heaven and his understanding returned to him Dan 4:34, Dan 4:37, and as the prodigal came to himself Luke 15:17 and as Hosea's wife was hedged in that she might return Hos 2:6-7, so the Lord by His Holy Spirit who convicts the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment John 16:8 would bring deep, godly sorrow that works repentance to salvation which brings no regret 2 Cor 7:10, and that she would come to her senses and escape the snare of the devil 2 Tim 2:26.

We pray as well for you, that you would be kept from evil and strengthened to love your wife as Christ also loved the church and gave himself up for her Eph 5:25, with patience, gentleness, and unwavering faithfulness, letting marriage be held in honor among all and the marriage bed undefiled Heb 13:4. We ask the Lord to keep you and her and your progeny and posterity and all who have heard the Word, from evil, deception, lies, temptation and the evil one, and to cause you all to receive the love of the truth that you may be saved 2 Thes 2:10, and to guard you as faithful stewards of the mysteries of God 1 Cor 4:1-2.

We thank Him in advance, believing that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we shall receive Mark 11:24, for He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him Heb 11:6 and the insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective James 5:16. We ask Him to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think Eph 3:20 and to show us great and mighty things which we don't know Jer 33:3.

Father, we ask all these things together, trusting not in our planting or watering but in You who gives the growth, and we ask it in the mighty and only name by which we are saved, Jesus Christ our Lord, for there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and whatever we ask in His name He will do that the Father may be glorified in the Son John 14:13. Amen.

We hear the weight and the hope in what you shared, and we are grateful you brought this to us. You have been carrying your wife, your family across generations, and many others before the Lord for a long time, asking Him to keep working, to keep bringing truth and kindness across their paths, and to guard what has been planted.

What stood out to us is how you are holding both planting and watering with open hands, trusting that growth belongs to God alone. That is a hard place to stay, especially when you love someone deeply and long to see change. It takes steady faith to keep praying, keep loving well, and keep leaving the outcome and the timing with Him. We see your diligence and your thankfulness even while you wait, and we are standing with you in that.

One thing that may help in this season is to keep a simple, sustainable rhythm of prayer for these names you carry, and then to rest from carrying them the rest of the day. Bring them before the Lord, entrust them again to His care and ordering of steps, and give your attention to walking faithfully right where He has you today. Staying connected to trusted fellowship for support and counsel as you continue can also help keep you steadied and encouraged.

Father, we lift this wife and this family to You, and all those who have heard Your Word through this dear one. Keep them from evil and deception, soften what needs softening, and in Your kindness draw hearts toward repentance and life. Complete the good work You have begun and guard these loved ones, including the children and generations to come. Give our brother peace as he waits and wisdom for each next step. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is good to hear the voice of prayer thus pleading the promises and magnifying the free grace of God. Your thanksgiving is well grounded, for the Word of the Lord does not return void but as the rain and snow come down from heaven to water the earth, so shall His Word accomplish that which He pleases and prosper in the thing whereto He sends it. The seed is the Word of God, and you have done well to plant and to water, but God alone gives the increase. Paul may plant and Apollos may water, but salvation belongs unto the Lord, and from Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever.

You ask that the goodness of God may lead to repentance, and herein you pray according to the mind of the Spirit. The goodness of God leads you to repentance. Mark that word. The Lord does not drive men to repentance as a slaveholder drives with the whip, but He draws with cords of love. Cain was driven as a fugitive, but the prodigal was drawn when he came to himself, and Hosea's wandering wife was hedged about until she said, I will go and return to my first husband. So we pray that the Lord will in His perfect patience, who is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, set before this dear one such tokens of His longsuffering kindness that her heart may be melted rather than merely broken by judgment. Judgments may produce a carnal repentance, a repentance that is of the flesh and after the manner of sinful nature, but true repentance is wrought in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit, and it gives God glory. Here are scales wherewith to weigh repentance. Does it glorify God by confessing that He is just and merciful, and does it look out of self to Christ and to Christ only.

Remember that repentance is to be preached in the name of Jesus, not after the manner of Moses, but as the gift of God. We do not put our repenting into the place of Christ, but we look to Christ to give us repentance unto life. That repentance which is unto life is practical, it yields works meet for repentance, and it lasts. It is not a temporary sorrow that needs to be repented of, but a godly sorrow that abhors past sin because of the love of Christ which has pardoned it, and avoids present sin because of the love of God who died for us. It lives as long as faith lives, sweet sister Repentance keeping company with us even to the gates of pearl, making a rainbow with her tears of grief for sin and her glances of hope at the finished work of Christ.

Take comfort from Peter, for his story is not so much his fall as his restoration. He was down but he was soon up again, for the Lord prayed for him and looked upon him, and that look severed him from the crowd and dissolved his heart in streams of bitter yet salutary and saving repentance. It was not a continuance in sin without repentance, but a speedy repentance following sudden temptation, and Christ restored him with a threefold charge to feed His sheep. So we pray that the same Lord who ever lives to make intercession will cast that potent look of love upon this still beloved wife, and upon patriarchal and matriarchal figures and upon children and posterity, that they may be humbled as Nebuchadnezzar was humbled, till they come to their senses and lift their eyes to heaven, and that the Holy Spirit, who convinces of sin and of righteousness and of judgment, will carry on every good work begun until the day of Christ.

We join you in thanking God that His Word is living and active and sharper than any two edged sword, judging the thoughts and intents of the heart, and that the Father orders the steps of the righteous, as He ordered Philip to the chariot of the Ethiopian reading Isaiah, and Ananias to Saul, and Paul forbidden in one place and called to Macedonia in another. He can still bring others across her path to water the seed that has been sown, to speak truth and to show kindness, for before honor comes humility.

May the Lord keep you and keep her and keep your household and all fellow stewards of the mysteries of God from evil and deception and from the evil one, as you receive the love of the truth that you may be saved. May He fulfill His promise that the fervent prayer of the righteous avails much, and do beyond all we can ask or think, not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but to Thy name give glory. We leave the seed in the good soil of sovereign grace, praying that repentance and remission of sins, which are joined together in Christ, may be richly known there, to the praise of Him who sits upon the throne and unto the Lamb.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been received and we join you in it with thanksgiving, for you have asked according to the will of God.

You have rightly remembered that the kindness of God leads to repentance, and that one plants and another waters but God alone gives the growth. The Word of God does not return empty, but like rain and snow from heaven it accomplishes the purpose for which He sent it. The seed is the Word, and you have been faithful to plant and to water. We now look to the Lord to give life to it in His time, for salvation belongs to the Lord and all glory belongs to Him.

We pray with you for your wife, who remains your wife before God. Marriage is a bond ordained by God, not to be lightly loosed. Scripture says, art thou bound unto a wife, seek not to be loosed. It is honorable and pure, and it preserves holiness when lived in faithfulness and chastity. We ask the Father to keep this covenant in His sight, to restrain evil, to bring fresh truth to her heart, and to carry on to completion every good work He has begun until the day of Christ.

We ask also for the work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts of sin and of righteousness, to do His humbling and restoring work. As you noted, before honor comes humility, and God in His mercy humbles that He may restore, as He did with Nebuchadnezzar and as the prodigal came to his senses and returned home. The medicine of repentance begins with the honest confession of sin before the Lord, declaring our sins that we may be justified by His grace. We pray that this godly sorrow which leads to repentance would be granted to her and to all among your family and those who have heard the Word in these past months, and that they would come to their senses and escape the snare of the evil one.

We thank God that His steps order the paths of His people, as He directed Philip to the Ethiopian, and Ananias to Saul, and Paul to Macedonia. We pray that He would continue to bring faithful people across her path and across the paths of your children and extended family to speak truth with kindness and to show the patience of God, who is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance and to the knowledge of the truth.

We pray for your own perseverance. The fervent prayer of the righteous avails much, and God rewards those who diligently seek Him. Continue to pray in faith, trusting the Mediator of the New Covenant, Jesus Christ, who stands between the Father and us and has prevailed for us. Continue to live in holiness, in peace with all people, keeping yourself from evil and deception and from every temptation by receiving the love of the truth.

May the Lord keep you, your wife, your children and their posterity, and all who labor with you as stewards of the mysteries of God, from the evil one. May His living and active Word pierce to the thoughts and intents of the heart and judge what is false, and may He do beyond all we ask or imagine, for His glory and for the good of souls. We ask this in the name of Jesus, who is always working, and in whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen.
