Beloved Warrior
🙌 Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, Isa 55:10, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this "still current wife's heart" by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. Continue to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

🙌 Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

🙌 Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more, great and mighty things, Jer 33:3, beyond all we can ask of imagine, Eph 3:20, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We lift this heartfelt prayer to our Heavenly Father with gratitude for His sovereign work in the lives of those He loves. It is clear you have been meditating deeply on His Word and trusting in His promises, and we join you in standing on the truth that God’s Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:10-11). The seeds planted in faith, whether in the heart of a "still current wife" or any other soul, are never wasted, for the Lord is faithful to complete the work He has begun (Philippians 1:6).

We affirm the power of the Holy Spirit to convict of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and we pray that He would continue to restrain evil, open blind eyes, and draw hearts to repentance. The kindness of God does lead to repentance (Romans 2:4), and we ask that He would surround this woman, and all those connected to this situation, with believers who will water the seeds of truth with gentleness, wisdom, and unwavering love. May the Lord order their steps (Psalm 37:23) and bring divine appointments, just as He did with Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-39), Saul’s conversion (Acts 9:10-19), and the Macedonian call (Acts 16:6-10).

We also take comfort in the truth that God is patient, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). His desire is for all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4), and we trust that He is even now working in ways we cannot see. The humility that precedes honor (Proverbs 18:12) is a work of the Spirit, and we pray that pride would be broken, hearts would soften, and prodigals would "come to their senses" (Luke 15:17), just as Nebuchadnezzar was restored after his season of humbling (Daniel 4:28-37).

Yet we must also address a concern in this prayer: the reference to a "still current wife" implies a situation where marriage vows may be in jeopardy. Scripture is clear that marriage is a covenant before God, not to be broken except in cases of sexual immorality (Matthew 19:6, 9). If this is a plea for reconciliation, we stand with you in praying for restoration, repentance, and healing. But if there is unrepentant sin, whether adultery, abandonment, or hardness of heart, we must also pray for godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10) and for the Lord to grant wisdom to all involved (James 1:5). Marriage is sacred, and we must never treat it lightly.

We also rejoice in your gratitude for the living and active Word of God (Hebrews 4:12), which pierces even to the division of soul and spirit. The Lord is indeed always working (John 5:17), and we thank Him for the privilege of partnering with Him in prayer. Fervent, righteous prayer does avail much (James 5:16), and we trust that He will do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. We thank You for Your Word, which is sharper than any two-edged sword, and for Your Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. Lord, we lift up this situation to You, trusting that You are already at work in ways we cannot see. We ask that You would humble hearts, break chains of pride, and lead all involved to repentance. Father, if there is sin in this marriage, whether unfaithfulness, hardness of heart, or division, we pray for Your healing hand to restore what has been broken. If reconciliation is Your will, make it possible; if repentance is needed, grant godly sorrow that leads to life. Surround this woman, this family, and all connected to them with believers who will speak truth in love, water the seeds of Your Word, and reflect Your kindness. Protect them from deception, evil, and the schemes of the enemy. Lord, we trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. Do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or imagine, for Your glory alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises, trusting that He is faithful even when the road is difficult. If this situation involves marital unfaithfulness or separation, we urge you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or biblical counselor who can provide wisdom and accountability. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He will never leave nor forsake His children (Hebrews 13:5). Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep believing in the power of our God to redeem and restore.

Thank you for sharing your heart, we can hear the trust you’re placing in God’s Word and His timing, and we’re standing with you in that hope.

As we’ve been praying, we keep coming back to the patience and kindness of God. You’ve already planted seeds of truth, and He knows exactly how to water them. Sometimes the hardest part is the wait, but He isn’t rushing, He’s drawing her with a love that doesn’t force, but persistently pursues. We’re asking Him to turn any sorrow she may feel into a godly sorrow that leads to genuine, lasting change, not just a quick remorse that fades.

While you wait, one thing we’re learning is that the quiet, steady love you show her in the middle of this may be one of the most powerful pictures of that kindness. It can be tempting to try to speed things along, but your willingness to stay present and gentle, without pressure, often becomes a safe place where the Spirit can work.

So we join you right now:

Father, we lift up this wife to You. You see every corner of her heart. Soften it with Your mercy and bring her to true repentance, a real turning. Protect her from shame that isolates, and give her the courage to face what needs to change. For her husband, we ask for strength, patience, and a peace that doesn’t depend on what he can see. We trust You to finish what You’ve begun. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

There is no rubric except one, "in the Holy Spirit." That granted, nothing else matters one whit. If it is praying in the Holy Spirit, all else may be as you will. Praying in the Holy Spirit's power. The carnal mind knows nothing about this.

But can a man pray without the assistance of the Holy Spirit? True repentance, the repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God and which God accepts, gives God glory. This is repentance after a godly sort. This is repentance that needs not to be repented of.

Repentance makes a rainbow with her tears of grief for sin and her glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work. True "repentance" will yield works meet for repentance, it will be practical repentance. Yet farther. You may know whether your repentance is practical by this test.

Does it last or does it not? The terrors of the Lord produced blasphemy but they did not produce repentance. Consider that the Holy Spirit alone can teach you, and that those who will not be taught of Him must remain hopelessly foolish. Only when the Holy Spirit comes is there any life and force and power.

Cry then mightily unto God, O you who seek to glorify Christ, for without the Holy Spirit you utterly fail. The little narrow heart of man the Holy Spirit hath made his palace. Again, the Holy Spirit is exceedingly grieved by our unbelief. May the Lord grant that we may not grieve the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer is fervent and full of Scripture, and you rightly trust that God's Word does not return empty. Yet consider: you ask that the Lord humble your wife and bring her to repentance, citing the king of Babylon. But you yourself, are you not in need of daily humbling? For a husband who prays for the humbling of his wife must first walk in lowliness, lest his prayer become a stone of accusation rather than a sweet incense.

The marriage bond is a great mystery, and what God has joined, let no man put asunder by impatience or harshness. Do not think that her heart can be changed by your many words alone; rather, let your own chaste and gentle conduct be a living sermon, for an unbelieving spouse is often won without a word by the behavior of the believer. The story of Ananias and Sapphira shows how deadly it is to hold back any part of the heart before God. Do not be satisfied with an outward agreement; pray rather that both of you may be fully given, keeping nothing back.

And as you wait, remember that God is patient, not willing that any should perish. He who has begun a good work in her will complete it, but in His season, not yours. Do not, like those who try to hasten the growth of a plant by pulling at its shoot, tear up the tender work of grace. Continue in prayer, yes, but let your prayer be joined with fasting and almsgiving, and above all, with the humility of a publican.

For a soft answer turns away wrath, and a gentle spirit can break the hardest heart. May you both, in time, stand together before the judgment seat, not with shame, but with joy, as joint heirs of the grace of life.

It is beautiful to see a heart so anchored in Scripture, lifting up a loved one before the throne of grace. The very prayer you have prayed testifies to a deep trust that God’s Word accomplishes exactly what He sends it to do. That confidence is not misplaced; the same Spirit who convicts the world of sin and righteousness is more than able to bring every proud thought into the captivity of Christ. He knows precisely when to allow the restless wandering of Hosea’s wife, when to let the prodigal come to the end of his own resources, and when to make a Nebuchadnezzar look up from the grass to acknowledge the Most High. His kindness, and even His humbling, is leading toward repentance, not driving away.

In your own home, remember that a believing spouse brings a sanctifying influence into the very atmosphere. The presence of genuine faith sets apart the household, covering your family with a grace that does not depend on the other’s immediate response. Yet God’s way of winning a resistant heart is rarely through words that press or push. A gentle and quiet spirit, a respect that does not demand its own way, and a life that consistently returns good for evil speak far louder than a hundred arguments. When your wife sees the peace you carry rather than the pressure you might feel, she encounters something that human reasoning cannot produce. It is the kindness of God lived out in close quarters, and that kindness is what softens the soil.

Do not let seasons of silence or apparent slowness discourage you. The Word planted in her heart is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, and it is judging the thoughts and intentions of her heart even now. You may not see the blade pierce or the scales fall, but the Spirit’s work is deeper than the conscious mind. Your role is to keep living in a way that gives her nothing to accuse but the good that is in you, to keep thanking God for the harvest before you see a single shoot, and to refuse the temptation to trade hope for frustration. If there are moments when all you can do is stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, those moments are not wasted.

And you can rest in this: you are not holding her heart together. Christ is. The One who promised to complete the good work He began is the same Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to go after the one. He knows how to hedge her path with thorns so that her lovers cannot reach her, and He knows how to bring her to her senses before the pig slop tastes sweet. Your fervent prayers avail much because they are the prayers of one made righteous by faith. So keep praying, keep believing, and keep loving with the long-suffering love that first loved you. In due season, if you do not faint, you will see the fruit of a repentance that is genuine, not mere tears over consequences, but a turning that leads to life and a home that stands on holy ground.
