Beloved Warrior
🙌 Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, Isa 55:10, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this "still current wife's heart" by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. Continue to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

🙌 Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

🙌 Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more, great and mighty things, Jer 33:3, beyond all we can ask of imagine, Eph 3:20, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We hear your fervent prayer for this wife’s heart and the broader work of God in the lives of many, and we join you in standing on the truth of Scripture. The Word of God does indeed not return void, it accomplishes what He pleases and prospers in the thing for which He sent it (Isaiah 55:11). We are reminded that God is the One who gives the growth, even as we plant and water (1 Corinthians 3:6-7). It is the Holy Spirit who convicts of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and it is His kindness that leads to repentance (Romans 2:4).

We lift this wife before the Lord, asking that He would continue the good work He has begun in her (Philippians 1:6). May He restrain evil, soften her heart, and bring fresh truth to her mind. We pray that others in her path would be instruments of His grace, speaking truth in love and demonstrating the kindness of God. We also pray for the patriarchs, matriarchs, and all who have heard the Word, may the Lord order their steps in righteousness (Psalm 37:23) and direct them as He did Philip to the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-31) or Ananias to Saul (Acts 9:10-11).

Father, we thank You that You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). You desire all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). We trust in Your perfect timing and patience, knowing that humility precedes honor (Proverbs 18:12) and that You humble those who need humbling (Daniel 4:37). We pray that those who are far from You would come to their senses, as the prodigal son did (Luke 15:17), and return to You.

We also thank You for Your protection over us, our families, ministry partners, and all who serve Christ. Keep us from evil, deception, and the schemes of the evil one. May we receive the love of the truth so that we may be saved (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10). We declare that Your Word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). We trust that You are always working (John 5:17) and that our prayers avail much when offered in faith (James 5:16).

Lord, we ask that You would reward our diligent seeking (Hebrews 11:6) and do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We thank You in advance for the answers to these prayers, knowing that whatever we ask in Jesus’ name, You will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13-14). All the promises of God find their "Yes" in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20).

We rebuke any hardness of heart, any resistance to the Holy Spirit, and any deception that may be hindering repentance. We stand against the enemy’s lies and declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the eyes of hearts would be enlightened to see the hope of Your calling (Ephesians 1:18) and that none would be deceived by empty words (Ephesians 5:6).

May the Lord continue to use these prayers mightily, and may His name be glorified in all things. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Amen.

Your prayer is filled with the ache of a heart that truly longs for your wife to turn fully to the Lord. We hear it, and we stand with you in it.

When we pray for someone’s repentance, we sometimes watch for tears or regret. But Scripture shows us that sorrow alone can fade without real change. The repentance that lasts is a changed direction, a turning away from sin and toward God. That kind of deep shift is something only the Holy Spirit can bring about, and we can ask Him for precisely that: not just remorse, but a genuine change of mind and heart.

As you continue watering the seeds that have been planted, your steady kindness and patience are not small things. A life of quiet, consistent faith lived before her speaks louder than many words. Keep entrusting the timing to the One who is both perfect and patient.

Father, we ask for godly sorrow that leads to true repentance in this woman’s heart. Humble her, give her eyes to see, and draw her out of the snare of the enemy. Sustain her husband with hope and grace in the waiting. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The travail of your soul for this still current wife is a sweet savor before the Throne, for you are pleading the very promises of God and planting your feet upon the covenant of grace. You have laid hold of the great truth that the kindness of God leads to repentance. It is not by the thunders of Sinai, nor by the terrors of judgment, that a heart is truly turned, but by the soft dew of Divine love descending upon it. The judgments of God may produce a carnal repentance, a repentance of the flesh that flees from pain but not from sin, and such repentance ends in deeper blasphemy. But the repentance unto life is born of the Spirit’s gentle striving, when the soul beholds the marvelous loving kindness of God in Christ Jesus and is melted thereby. This is the cord that draws the prodigal home, not the memory of the swine trough, but the recollection of the father’s house and the father’s heart.

You are right to trace the work to the Holy Spirit, for He alone convinces of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He humbles the proud heart, not by a rough breaking only, but by a secret softening, until the soul abhors itself and turns to Christ. This humbling is not a once-for-all agony; it deepens with every step of the heavenly road. The truest repentance is that of a man drawing near the gate of pearl, for as grace enlarges the heart, it reveals more of the blackness of sin against such light. Do not, then, grow weary if the process seems slow. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise. He is patient, and patience is a perfection of Deity. The seed you have scattered and watered with tears shall not lie rotting, but shall spring up in a day you know not.

Be much in prayer for this precious soul, for prayer is the invisible hand that moves the visible world. Pray that she may not merely be sorry for the consequences of sin, but that a godly sorrow may be wrought in her, a sorrow that gives glory to God by justifying His law and exalting His grace. Such repentance is the first tear-drop of the morning of salvation, and it is ever accompanied by faith. The two are inseparable twins. Repentance pulls down the house of cards, and faith builds upon the Rock of Ages. When you see her looking out of self to Christ alone, then know that the work has begun.

Speak often to her of our Lord’s loving kindness, not as a bribe, but as a magnet. Tell her that He receives sinners and eats with them. The broken spirit and contrite heart He will not despise. There is no sin too black for the crimson flood of Calvary. He blots out the record, not merely from our sight, but from His own omniscient eye. O, the marvel of it! Why such love to us? Why me, Lord? This sense of free grace is the very oil that feeds the flame of evangelical repentance.

Commit the matter entirely into His hands who has ordered the steps of the righteous. He who sent Philip to the treasurer of Ethiopia can bring the right words, the right testimony, the right providence to bear upon her path. Rest in His perfect work, for He is able to subdue all things unto Himself. The promise stands: “I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten.” Till then, believe, hope, and give thanks, for the Father is always working. Amen, even so, come, Lord Jesus, in this matter.

Father please do this for them and as it pertains also for us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In Jesus name. Amen

The groaning of your spirit in prayer lays hold of a deep and precious truth: it is the kindness of God that leads to repentance. You pour out Scripture like a fragrant offering, recalling the seed that is planted and watered, trusting solely in God to give the growth. This is right and good. Yet the kindness of God is not a gentle stream that merely comforts; it is a surgical lance that pierces to the division of soul and spirit, humbling the proud heart so that it may come to its senses. For a soul entrenched in a course contrary to His design, the most severe mercy God can show is to block her path with thorns, as He did for Hosea's wife. That longing you hold for her to be humbled, even if through a storm, is a prayer conceived by the Holy Spirit. Before honor is humility, and the steps of the righteous being ordered by God often wind through the valley of a broken spirit, where all self-trust is shattered. There is no need of a long circuit of laborious works; salvation is by a short word. The confession of the Lord Jesus with the mouth and the belief in the heart that God raised Him from the dead is a word that carries with it not only salvation but also righteousness. It is a gift to be received, not a wage to be earned.

Consider, then, the subtle snare that can entangle a soul when it hears of the freeness of this gift. It is possible to cry out for mercy, to marvel at the kindness that takes away the sin of the world, and yet postpone receiving the gift, putting off salvation to the latest breath. This is not the humility that leads to life, but a dangerous presumption that wears a mask of wisdom. True humility, a contrite and broken heart that God will not despise, does not merely acknowledge a truth; it yields to it. It is a soul so shattered that how many ills it suffers, it chooses rather to die to itself than to rise up and attack its Healer by clinging to its own way. This is the groundwork of everything good. If one is merely impressed by God’s patience, yet remains stiff-necked, the very mercies that should cause her to flee to Christ become a millstone. The one sacrifice of Christ is final and all-sufficient, perfecting for all time those who are being sanctified. There remains no other Cross, no second washing of that kind. The door stands open, but it is the door of a single life, given once, to be lived in repentance and faith today. Let her not imagine she can rest the hope of her salvation on a past acknowledgment, on your faith, or on the seeds that have been watered; each one’s hope must be in one’s self, after the lovingkindness of God, evidencing itself in a life that is pure.

Therefore, while you persist in fervent prayer, let your own conduct preach the most eloquent sermon. Clothe yourself with a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and longsuffering. Forbear and forgive, even as Christ forgave you. When a soul is shown such gentle forbearance, not from one side only, but met with it on both sides, a double wall is erected against all strife. Not even the Devil himself can easily breach it. This is not a weak surrender of truth, but the very power that makes the truth beautiful and irresistible. The Word of God is living and active, a sharp two-edged sword, but its hilt is held by a hand of mercy. Pray that the kindness of God, demonstrated through your own humble and contrite spirit, might become a flash of light that awakens her from the snare of the evil one. For God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance, and He works even now, using prayers like yours to bring wayward hearts to the knowledge of the truth, captives set free from deception to a saving love of the truth.
