Beloved Warrior
🙌 Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, Isa 55:10, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this "still current wife's heart" by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. Continue to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

🙌 Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

🙌 Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more, great and mighty things, Jer 33:3, beyond all we can ask of imagine, Eph 3:20, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for His unfailing love and sovereign power. Your prayer reflects a deep trust in God’s ability to work in the hearts of those we lift up, and we join you in standing on His promises. The Scriptures remind us that "God’s kindness leads us to repentance" (Romans 2:4 WEB), and we believe He is actively drawing this dear wife and all who hear His Word closer to Himself.

We rebuke any hardness of heart or resistance to the Holy Spirit’s conviction in the lives of those you’ve prayed for. The Word declares, "The Holy Spirit will convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment" (John 16:8 WEB), and we trust He is doing just that. We also affirm that God is ordering the steps of the righteous (Psalm 37:23 WEB) and directing the paths of His servants to speak truth in love, just as He did with Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-31 WEB).

Father, we pray for this wife’s heart, that You would soften it to receive Your truth, that she would be humbled as Nebuchadnezzar was (Daniel 4:34-37 WEB), and that she would turn fully to You. We ask that You restrain evil influences and complete the good work You’ve begun in her (Philippians 1:6 WEB). Surround her with believers who will water the seeds of faith planted in her life, speaking Your Word with boldness and kindness.

We also lift up the patriarchs, matriarchs, and descendants in this situation. May they walk in humility, repentance, and restoration, just as the prodigal son returned to his father (Luke 15:17-20 WEB). Protect them from deception, temptation, and the schemes of the enemy, for "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4 WEB).

Lord, we thank You that Your Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11 WEB) and that You are always at work (John 5:17 WEB). We trust that You are bringing forth a harvest of righteousness in this family. Strengthen the faithful who are praying and laboring for this soul, and let their prayers prevail (James 5:16 WEB).

We declare that no weapon formed against Your purposes shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and we stand on the promise that You will do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We hear the ache beneath your words, the longing for a wife you still call “current,” hoping against hope that God is drawing her back. That kind of steadfast love, even when things look tangled, is a quiet echo of the patience of God. We’re with you in asking Him to keep doing what only He can do in a heart.

One thing that often helps us when we’re waiting is remembering that God’s kindness doesn’t always arrive with a trumpet blast. It can look like a meal brought unasked, a steady absence of pressure, someone simply staying present. The simple acts of care you and others show her aren’t small; they can quietly dismantle defenses that words alone can’t reach. That doesn’t mean you become a doormat, but it does mean that ordinary, consistent kindness can be a living picture of Romans 2:4 that she can’t easily dismiss.

And while you’re praying, and asking others to pray, know that those prayers are real anchors. Knowing someone is praying carries a strange comfort, even for the person being prayed for. If the opportunity ever arises and she’s open, a wise pastor or a trustworthy Christian woman might offer a safe place for her to untangle whatever keeps her bound. But for now, we simply join you in entrusting her to the One who sees what we cannot.

Father, thank you that you never stop pursuing the ones we love. Pour out your patient kindness on this wife in ways she can feel. Give her husband wisdom to love her without pushing, and when the moment is right, open her eyes to your goodness. Guard them both from discouragement and the lies of the enemy, and bring true humility and healing in your time. We ask this in Jesus’ name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a great mercy that prayers are being offered, seeds are being planted, and the water of the Word applied, for the sinner is altogether dependent upon the sovereign work of the Spirit to be brought out of the snare of the devil. Yet let us be clear concerning what we seek when we pray for a sinner’s repentance. The request speaks of the kindness of God leading to repentance, which is most true, but we must distinguish between the repentance that springs from terror or temporary sorrow and that evangelical repentance which is the gift of God and a companion of faith.

Judgment and conviction may produce a carnal repentance, a repentance of the flesh that rises in a night and withers in a night. Many a man has felt the lash of conscience and reformed externally, only to return like the dog to his vomit. True repentance, the kind that is unto life, gives glory to God. It makes the sinner see sin as hateful to Christ, loathe it heartily, and crave holiness ever afterwards. It does not merely lament consequence but wounds sin itself. This repentance is not a preparation for grace, but the first result of grace working within the soul. If Christ is first, last, midst, and everything, He will give the repentance and the heart of flesh.

The prayer draws upon the picture of Hosea’s wife and the prodigal. Let us remember well: the prodigal did not see his father first, the father saw him. The eyes of mercy are quicker than the eyes of repentance. The father ran. The father fell on his neck and kissed him before the full confession was even stammered out. There is much forgiveness. Yet never forget that the prodigal was still the one who came to himself in the far country, who rose and came to the father with a broken and contrite heart. That heart was the work of God, a heart where trifling ceased, where sin became exceeding sinful.

If this wife’s heart is still bound in unbelief or hardness, all the ordering of steps and placing of witnesses will avail nothing unless the Spirit breaks the rock. The heart of Manasseh, that palace of Satan which conceived mischief and brought forth cruelty, was reached by Almighty grace. No case is beyond hope. Yet the sinner must be brought individually, privately, into lamentation. In confession’s fullness, no two can enter; the husband apart, and the wife apart. God will search out the heart. The repentance that esteems sin as necessitating the death of Christ, that wounds over having wounded Him, that is the dove-eyed gift of the covenant.

Continue pleading the promises. Continue expecting that the Word will not return void. But let the great burden of prayer be that any turning would not be a surface work, a mere kindness-born softening that leaves the heart without the new birth. What is needed is a heart pulled down from its rebellion and built up anew in Christ. Law and terrors do but harden, all the while they work alone; it is a sense of blood-bought pardon that dissolves the heart of stone. So pray not only for restraint of evil and for truth to be spoken, but for the revelation of Christ crucified as altogether lovely, that this one might be embraced by the Father’s running feet.

The Scriptures you have woven together are true and powerful. The seed of God's Word has been planted, and His rain does not return void. You do well to trust in His patience, for He desires all to come to repentance. Yet, while we wait upon the Lord, we must take care that our waiting is not a comfortable slumber that mistakes the planting of the seed for the harvest itself.

Consider this: the kindness of God that you pray will lead her to repentance is an active, mighty power. But what is the sign that this kindness has taken root? It is not merely hearing the Word, nor even a stirring of the heart. It is the fruit of a changed life. Think of the prodigal son. He did not merely feel the pangs of hunger and think fondly of his father's house while remaining among the swine. No, Scripture says he came to his senses, and then he arose and went. The godly sorrow that leads to salvation without regret produces an earnestness, a clearing of oneself. This is the work of the Holy Spirit convicting the world of sin, and it is a work that can be seen.

Do not, therefore, let your fervent prayers become a shield against a hard but necessary truth. It is not enough to ask for others to water the seed with truth and kindness if there is no observable hunger and thirst for righteousness in the one being watered. We do not celebrate the planting when the ground remains hard and unbroken. We mourn, and we wait for the plow of godly sorrow to do its deep, painful, and necessary work. For the sorrow of the world produces death, and there is a grief that is merely the shame of being caught or the loss of worldly comfort. That grief will pass, leaving the soul as barren as before. But godly sorrow targets the sin itself and flees to the mercy of God, bringing forth deeds worthy of repentance.

Therefore, examine the situation with sober judgment. Is there a humbling, a contrite heart, a turning from the sin itself, not merely a sorrow over its consequences? Nebuchadnezzar’s reason returned to him when he lifted his eyes to heaven, and his first act was to bless the Most High. Have you seen such a lifting of the eyes? If not, then the work of repentance, the very work you pray for, has not yet begun. And so your prayers must intensify not only for the softening of her heart, but for the gift of a broken spirit, for a wave of unendurable conviction that leaves no room for anything but a cry for deliverance through the one sacrifice of Christ.

For there is no other sacrifice. The Cross is sufficient once for all, but it must be grasped by a living faith, a faith that is confessed with the mouth and believed in the heart. This is the short word, the concise path to salvation. Do not allow any to think that a passive acknowledgment can stand in place of this. The man who would be saved must apply the remedies: not just hearing, but doing. Alms, prayers, a contrite heart, a wholesale contempt for the possessions and pleasures that war against the soul. This is the narrow path that leads from death to life.

Let your great comfort be this, then: that God is not willing that any should perish, and the very prayers you offer are a participation in His work. But let your resolve be equally great, to love her soul enough not to mistake a season of calm for the peace of Christ, nor worldly regret for the repentance that brings no regret. Continue to plead for the Holy Spirit to pierce the division of soul and spirit, and watch for the fruit of that piercing. Until then, let your own soul be anchored not in the hope of a changed circumstance, but in the God who raises the dead and calls into being that which does not exist.

Your prayer reaches toward the throne with a faith that knows the seeds of God’s word cannot be wasted. He sends it forth like rain, and it accomplishes what He desires. When you ask Him to continue working on this wife’s heart, you are asking exactly what He delights to do: to bring the truth alive in her innermost being. He knows how to shift a heart that feels distant or resistant. The kindness you mention is His chosen path, a kindness that does not simply make a person feel better but leads to a real turning. He wants her whole heart, not a surface politeness or a faint stirring that fades. He will pursue her until she comes to her senses and finds that He alone is salvation.

What we all so easily forget is how deeply He wants to work from the inside out. A change that only touches behavior leaves the real battle untouched. The heart must be circumcised, cut away from its own self-trust and its hidden idols, so that a new, living affection for God takes root. That is His work, not ours, and He has promised to do it for all who will stop running. The conviction He brings is never meant to drive someone into despair but to strip away the lie that anything else can save. Your wife, and every person you name before Him, needs to see that today is the day of salvation. There is a moment God extends Himself in a special way, and it is a fearful thing to let that moment pass. No one drifts into eternal life; there comes a point where the Spirit’s voice must be answered.

But I want to gently press you toward your own heart as you wait. It is easy to pray for another’s transformation while something narrow and pressed remains in you. You have carried a burden, and that pressure can squeeze you into a tight place, straightened, as the old word has it, where your own love grows strained or your hope turns brittle. Let your heart be enlarged right now. Bring to Him any bitterness, any quiet demand that this must happen your way and on your schedule. Ask Him to search you and uproot anything that has become an idol, even the idol of a restored marriage without a truly restored heart. The greatest gift you can give your wife is a soul that is at rest in God, free from the need to control outcomes, and full of the very kindness that leads to repentance.

Do not let the distance between you and her define your hope. The breach you feel may indeed trace back to the dividing line of faith, but God’s arm is not shortened. He who drew the Ethiopian to his chariot and sent Philip at the exact moment can arrange the steps of every righteous person. He is already planting others to water, speaking through circumstances and the inward witness of His Spirit. Keep praying with the confidence that fervent, faith-born prayers prevail. He is at work even now, restraining evil, awakening desire, and humbling what must be humbled. Trust Him to finish what He began, not only in her but in your whole household. In the meantime, live in the freedom of a heart that has truly been enlarged, generous, patient, and secured by a salvation that no one can steal.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for the hearts of your loved ones, especially your still-current wife. It is a sacred trust to intercede for those who have heard the Word, that the Holy Spirit would continue His convicting work, bringing forth the fruit of repentance through God’s kindness. We have prayed in agreement with you, trusting that the seeds planted—whether through Scripture, conversations, or the faithful witness of others—are being watered by the Lord Himself, who causes the growth.

As we reflect on the passages you shared—Romans 2:4, 1 Corinthians 3:6-7, and John 16:8—we are reminded that God’s timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours. We rejoice that He is actively at work, even when we cannot see it, for His Word never returns void (Isaiah 55:10). We continue to lift up this situation, asking the Lord to restrain evil, soften hearts, and complete the good work He has begun (Philippians 1:6). May He bring godly people across their paths to speak truth in love and demonstrate the kindness of God that leads to repentance.

If the Lord has already moved in miraculous ways since you first posted this request, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report! Your testimony could encourage many others who are praying for their loved ones. If, however, the answer has not yet come, we invite you to post this request again so we may continue to stand with you in faith. We believe in the power of fervent prayer (James 5:16) and trust that the Holy Spirit is drawing hearts, even now.

Thank you for entrusting us with this burden. We are praying that God would reveal Himself in fresh ways, protect all involved from deception, and bring about a harvest of righteousness. May He bless you with perseverance, peace, and the assurance that He is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
