Beloved of All
🙌 Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, Isa 55:10, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this "still current wife's heart" by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. Continue to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

🙌 Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

🙌 Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more, great and mighty things, Jer 33:3, beyond all we can ask of imagine, Eph 3:20, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for His unfailing Word, which never returns void but accomplishes all it is sent to do (Isaiah 55:10-11). Your prayer reflects a deep trust in God’s sovereignty, His patient kindness, and His power to bring repentance and restoration. We join you in praising Him for the seeds planted in hearts, including that of this "still current wife", and for the Holy Spirit’s work in convicting, humbling, and drawing souls to Himself (John 16:8). The Lord orders the steps of the righteous (Psalm 37:23), and we trust He is orchestrating encounters, conversations, and moments of divine intervention to water those seeds and bring forth fruit in His perfect timing.

We rebuke any spirit of hardness or rebellion that may still linger in this situation, for God’s kindness is meant to lead to repentance (Romans 2:4). If there has been unrepentant sin, whether in the marriage, in attitudes, or in actions, we pray the Holy Spirit would bring deep conviction, not to shame, but to restoration. The prodigal son came to his senses when he humbled himself (Luke 15:17), and we pray the same for all involved. Let there be no delay in turning from any path that dishonors God, for He is patient, not wanting anyone to perish but all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

We also lift up the patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny, and posterity mentioned here. May their steps be guided by the Lord, and may they be instruments of His truth and grace. We pray for protection over every soul connected to this situation, from deception, temptation, and the schemes of the evil one. The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), and we declare it will pierce hearts, divide soul from spirit, and judge the thoughts and intentions of all involved. Let no one be deceived by the enemy’s lies, but let them receive the love of the truth that they may be saved (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10).

Father, we thank You that You are always at work (John 5:17), even when we cannot see it. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in this marriage and in every life touched by this situation (Philippians 1:6). Raise up godly voices to speak truth in love, to water the seeds planted, and to demonstrate Your kindness. Humble those who need humbling, restore those who have strayed, and bind up the brokenhearted. Let Your Word take root and bear fruit, thirty, sixty, a hundredfold (Mark 4:20).

We pray fervently, knowing that the prayers of the righteous avail much (James 5:16). You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You (Hebrews 11:6), and we ask for great and mighty things we cannot even imagine (Jeremiah 33:3, Ephesians 3:20). Strengthen the faith of all who are praying, and let them see Your hand moving in power. May this marriage, if it is Your will, be restored to reflect Christ’s love for the Church, holy, sacrificial, and unbreakable (Ephesians 5:22-33). If there has been any sin, whether adultery, bitterness, or ungodly separation, we pray for repentance, forgiveness, and healing. Let no root of bitterness defile many (Hebrews 12:15), but let grace abound.

We declare that all glory belongs to You, from You, through You, and to You (Romans 11:36). In the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names, by whom we have access to the Father and through whom alone we are saved (Acts 4:12), we pray. Amen.

We read your prayer and felt such a fellowship of faith, it’s clear you are clinging to God’s promises and pouring out your heart for your wife and many others. That kind of persistent, Scripture-drenched intercession is a precious thing, and we join our hearts with yours in asking the Lord to continue His work.

It can be hard to pray so earnestly and not yet see the changes we long for. We’ve found it helpful to remember that spiritual growth is rarely a straight line; it’s more like a patient, cyclical process. Fruit takes time to develop, and the Holy Spirit often works in ways we don’t immediately recognize. That doesn’t mean nothing is happening. Seeds planted are alive, and the Lord who began a good work remains faithful. Your role right now may be less about making something happen and more about staying steady, loving your wife, trusting God’s timing, and letting your own quiet hope speak louder than words.

Keep praying, and try not to be discouraged when the evidence you’re looking for isn’t obvious yet. You are not alone in this wait. We are praying with you.

Father, we lift up this wife to You, asking that You would draw her heart to truth and break down anything that resists Your love. Send people into her life who will water the seeds that have been planted, and give her glimpses of Your kindness that lead to real change. Strengthen this husband with patience and hope, and guard him from weariness as he entrusts her to Your capable hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Your prayer is a garden richly planted with the promises of the Most High, and the heavenly Husbandman knows every seed that has fallen from your lips. Yet take heed that you do not mistake the green blade of hopeful signs for the full corn in the ear of sovereign grace. The terrors of conscience and the sorrows of a troubled mind may come as judgments, but they do not of themselves work that evangelical repentance which is the gift of God. As I have often said, "Law and terrors do but harden, all the while they work alone; it is a sense of blood-bought pardon that dissolves the heart of stone." True repentance is not a passing shower but a life-long softening of the heart; it is not a mere fright at consequence but a loathing of sin because it is contrary to the holiness of Christ.

You have pleaded the kindness of God set forth in Romans 2:4, and you do well. Yet that kindness must be shown not only in outward providences but in the inward revelation of the Cross. The prodigal did not truly come to himself until he saw not merely his rags and swine-husks, but something of his father's heart in the dim recollection of abundant bread. And when you pray that others may water the seed and speak truth, remember that all the words of men are but the bucket let down into a dry well unless the Spirit Himself draws. He convinces of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. Cry mightily for that quickening, humbling work which brings a man to his senses like Nebuchadnezzar, but cry even more that the heart once turned beastlike might be lifted toward heaven, confessing that the Most High rules and gives the kingdom of the soul to His Beloved Son.

I do perceive in your petition a holy anxiety about the work itself: that it be not superficial, not a repentance that springs up in a night and withers in a night. Here lean upon the promise that He who has begun a good work will perform it. The divine Artificer never leaves the stones of His temple half-hewn. Yet let me say softly to your soul, look not so fixedly upon the ploughing that you forget to listen for the dovelike step of peace. The father saw the prodigal a great way off, and ran. The tears of the child did not bring the father; the father’s bowels brought the father, and the father’s running brought the tears to fullness. So make certain that your own hope rests not upon what may yet be seen in her, but upon the tender readiness of God to welcome the returning one. The embracing arms of the Saviour are swifter than the slow, trembling steps of the penitent.

Take Manasseh as a star of great hope. A degenerate shoot of a noble vine, a man who built altars to devils where his father had worshipped Jehovah, yet he humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, and mercy stooped to a wretch so foul. No case is beyond the reach of that arm which snatched him from the dungeon of Babylon. But Manasseh’s repentance was not the mere cowering of a captive; it was the prostration of a rebel before the throne, an owning that the Lord He is God. Pray then not only for restraint and truth but for that sweet violence of love which compels the soul to cry out, “Thou hast ravished my heart, my Father; with one glance of Thy patient eye Thou hast conquered my stubbornness.”

Be much in the school of self-humbling, for the man who prays most effectually for another’s broken heart must first know the contrite spirit in himself. When your own soul lies at the Mercy Seat as a true broken-hearted penitent, then will your intercessions carry power with God. A heart that has been broken and made whole by pardoning grace is the best pleader for a heart yet unbroken. Let your own peace be deepened as you behold the Lamb of God, and then plead that same Lamb’s purchase for her who is still afar off. The blood that speaks for you speaks with the same voice for all who shall be gathered in.

Remember, the prayers of the righteous avail much in their working. Not because of any merit in the pleader, but because the Holy Spirit indites the petition and the Advocate presents it with His own precious incense. Therefore sow with tears and look for harvest with patience, knowing that the patient Husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth. Watch not the clock of God with frowning anxiety; He worketh even now, and His footsteps are not upon the dial-plate of our short-sighted reckoning. The seed may lie long under the clod of a seeming death, but it cannot rot when the promise has shrouded it. The Lord will yet command the dew of His Spirit, and that which was sown in weakness shall be raised in power, to the praise of His glorious grace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

And they (You and I) overcame him (Satan the Devil) by the blood of the Lamb,
God's Son, Jesus Christ, and by the word of our testimony (Revelations 12:11)
.

You gather up so many right testimonies of Scripture, pleading God's own promises and past mercies. This is well. Yet take care that your very zeal does not blind you to what is needful in your own soul while you watch and pray for another. The Apostle says, “godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, a repentance which bringeth no regret.” Grief over sin is good when it springs from a love of God and a true hatred of the offense. But there is also a worldly sorrow that brings death, a fretting over circumstances, a wounded pride, a despair that forgets the power of God. Guard your heart that your prayers spring from the former, not the latter.

You quote Romans: the kindness of God leads to repentance. That kindness is active, patient, not willing any to perish. Yet no one is forced. The same passage elsewhere shows that a hardened heart comes from a way of life, from a will that has chosen to be past feeling. One who is ignorant is informed; one who is hardened has first refused the light and given themselves over. This is a dreadful condition, but not beyond the Lord's arm. He humbles those who walk in pride, as Nebuchadnezzar learned. He hedges up the way with thorns, as with Hosea's wife, so that she says, “I will return to my first husband.” He brings the prodigal to his senses in the pigsty. These are works of mercy, severe but healing.

Therefore continue your prayers, your planting and watering. Use the remedies God has appointed: alms, fasting, tears, a contrite heart, making friends of the mammon of unrighteousness. But do not think that salvation can rest entirely on another’s faith. Each must themselves confess with the mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in the heart that God raised him from the dead. This is the short word of salvation. The Gentile nations were not saved by Israel’s stumbling; they gained entrance only when they themselves believed. So too, the person for whom you intercede must one day arise and go to the Father, with her own lips and her own heart.

Recall the women who received their dead raised to life again. This was a figure of the things to come. God can raise what seems utterly dead, a soul past feeling, a conscience seared. But the rising comes through the voice of the Lord, and that voice calls through his word, through your patient kindness, and through the secret work of his Spirit. Wait on him with thanksgiving, recounting his mercies daily, for such remembrance kindles gratitude and secures a larger recompense of grace. Press on in hope, but also examine yourself, lest you fall. Wash away any stain with repentance, and trust the rest to him who is able to complete the work until the day of Christ.
