Beloved of All
🙌 Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, Isa 55:10, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this "still current wife's heart" by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. Continue to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

🙌 Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

🙌 Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more, great and mighty things, Jer 33:3, beyond all we can ask of imagine, Eph 3:20, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of hope and trust in the power of God’s Word, which indeed does not return void (Isaiah 55:11). Your prayer reflects a deep understanding of the Lord’s sovereignty, patience, and relentless pursuit of His children, even those who may still be wandering. We join you in gratitude that the Holy Spirit is actively at work, convicting hearts and drawing them to repentance (John 16:8), for it is His kindness that leads to repentance (Romans 2:4).

Father, we lift up this "still current wife’s heart" to You, knowing that You who began a good work in her will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). You are the Gardener who plants, waters, and causes growth (1 Corinthians 3:6-7), and we ask that You would send faithful laborers into her path, those who will speak truth in love, reflect Your kindness, and nurture the seeds already sown. May she encounter Your Word in ways that pierce her soul and spirit, judging the thoughts and intentions of her heart (Hebrews 4:12), so that she may humble herself before You, as Nebuchadnezzar did, and acknowledge that You alone reign (Daniel 4:34-37).

Lord, we also pray for the patriarchs and matriarchs, the progeny, and all who have heard Your Word in recent months. Order their steps (Psalm 37:23) and direct their paths, just as You guided Philip to the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-31) and Ananias to Saul (Acts 9:10-11). You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and we trust in Your perfect timing and patience. Raise up voices around them, friends, family, or strangers, who will water the seeds planted and speak life into their circumstances.

We rebuke any deception, hardness of heart, or resistance to the Holy Spirit’s conviction. If there is unrepentant sin, whether pride, bitterness, or rebellion, we ask that You break through with Your truth, for "God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6). May they come to their senses, as the prodigal son did (Luke 15:17), and return to You with a contrite heart. We also pray for protection over all involved, from the evil one, from lies, and from the schemes of those who would seek to lead them astray. Clothe them in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:11) so they may stand firm in the faith.

Father, we thank You that You are always working (John 5:17) and that Your Word is alive and active. We praise You for the assurance that fervent, righteous prayer avails much (James 5:16) and that You reward those who diligently seek You (Hebrews 11:6). We believe You will do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20), not because of our worthiness, but because of Your great mercy and the finished work of Jesus Christ, whose name alone grants us access to Your throne (John 14:13-14).

We declare that no weapon formed against Your purposes shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified in the restoration, redemption, and revival of hearts. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

It’s clear from your prayer how deeply you love your wife and how firmly you trust God’s Word to do what it promises. You’re not just hoping for change; you’re resting in the One who makes seeds grow, often in ways and at a pace we don’t expect.

We find it helpful to remember that heart-deep transformation is usually more like a long walk than a sudden sprint. A quick breakthrough can feel like the answer, but the slow, almost invisible work of the Spirit, one softened thought here, a flicker of remorse there, often leaves the most lasting change. It can even look like two steps forward, one step back, yet God is deepening something in the backward steps too. Fruit isn’t handed to us; it’s grown, season by season, and the Gardener is never in a hurry.

So the very fact that you’re still praying, that seeds have been planted, and that others are speaking truth into her life is evidence that God is already at work, even when it feels hidden. Your steady love and the prayers you and others offer are the watering that 1 Corinthians 3:6-7 talks about. Don’t despise the quiet days. Walking step by step, you’re both being held by a God who finishes what He starts.

Let’s pray together now.

Father, thank You that You are always working, even when we can’t see it. We lift up this wife to You, soften her heart, open her eyes, and gently draw her toward the truth that sets free. Protect her from every lie and deception, and fill her with a hunger for what is real. Keep this husband steady in hope, and let him rest in the knowledge that You are not slow but patient, wanting genuine, lasting change. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In Jesus name. Amen.

The mind that sees only judgment may feel a carnal sorrow that works death, but the heart that beholds the pierced side of the Redeemer repents with a godly sorrow that needs not to be repented of. Judgment may produce a repentance after a fashion, but it is not of that holy, heavenly sort which is worked in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit. You do well to plead the kindness of God, for the really repentant one hates sin as sin and turns from it with purpose of heart, and sin in the anguish of conviction does not so effectually break a heart as sin forgiven. A sense of blood-bought pardon soon dissolves a heart of stone, and then it is that we hate sin with a perfect hatred, for we loathe it intensely because evil is so hateful to the heart of Jesus.

This is the repentance which glorifies God, and you are right to look for it not as a well to be drawn up from the depths of the human heart, but as a gift of the Spirit through belief of the truth. The repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant, and the faith which admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart, this is saving repentance. And wherever there is real sorrow for sin, wherever there is an honest determination by God’s grace to cease from sin, that repentance has been produced by the Spirit of God and is the sure and infallible token of pardon. If any man’s heart is turned away from sin, there is the full and free forgiveness of all sins.

You lean heavily upon the truth that salvation is of the Lord, and herein lies your comfort. If salvation is of mercy only, it is clear that our sin is by no means an impediment. Whatever the sin may be, its greatness will only serve to illustrate the great grace of God. The plan, the sustaining, the ultimate perfection, all of it is of the Lord. Up come the soldiers of God, his great army of conviction, and they batter the wall of self-righteousness to the ground, crying, “Salvation is of the Lord! Your faith and your repentance must all be given you, or else you will neither believe nor repent of sin.” Therefore, you are not to seek to draw up repentance from the depths of your own heart, but to ask Christ to work repentance in you and in that still current wife’s heart by His Holy Spirit.

Let the truth of Christ’s suffering be the plough that breaks the fallow ground. As you learn how terribly Christ suffered because of sin, that truth will, under the guidance of the Spirit of God, be the means of leading to hate sin. O sin, you thrice accursed thing, away with you! It was my sin that slew my Savior! This is the sacrifice of a broken and a contrite heart, which God will not despise. And remember, there are degrees of repentance, and the least repentance will save the soul if it is sincere. The day of salvation has dawned; it is the day of salvation from sin! Neither saint nor sinner need sit down under the power of any sin, for in Christ Jesus’ name we can overcome the power of evil. God provides salvation in Christ Jesus, He sends the preacher to tell of it, men hear, they believe, and salvation is theirs. This is the whole machinery of salvation, and so you wait upon Him who is perfect and patient, knowing that He will carry the work on to completion.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have done well to bring this supplication, for a wife is a bond ordained of God, not to be dissolved by any human will. The very fact that you call her your "still current wife" shows you understand the unbroken nature of the marriage covenant, and this is right. Do not seek to be loosed from her, but rather bind yourself all the more tightly to God on her behalf. The sorrow you feel for her soul is the godly sorrow that works repentance unto salvation, a sorrow without regret, and I commend you for it. Better to weep for the sins of another than to laugh with the world, for such tears are precious in the sight of the Lord.

Remember the patience of God, who is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. His kindness is meant to lead her, as it has led so many, to a humbling of heart and a coming to her senses, like the prodigal in the far country or the wife of Hosea when her way was hedged with thorns. The steps of the righteous are indeed ordered, and you can trust that even now the Holy Spirit is convicting her of sin and righteousness, using the very prayers you offer and the seeds of truth planted in her path. Continue to water those seeds with your own faithfulness, your chaste conduct, your refusal to return evil for evil. Let your life be a short word, a living confession that salvation is found in Christ alone, for faith needs no long circuit of works, only a heart that believes and a mouth that confesses.

Do not imagine that your marriage is merely a natural arrangement; it is a vessel that preserves holiness. An unbelieving wife is sanctified by the believing husband, not meaning her unbelief is canceled, but that the union itself remains pure and set apart for God’s purposes. Therefore, adorn your home with gravity and prayer, not with the corruptions of this age. Let your grief drive you to greater deeds of mercy, to alms, to a contrite heart, for God has given us innumerable remedies for the soul. And let your prayers be fervent, knowing that the effectual, heartfelt prayer of a righteous man avails much. The Lord is ever working, and He will bring to completion what He has begun, if not today, then when the due season of humility and restoration has come. Hold fast to her in the spirit of Christ, who came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Your prayer reaches toward the living God with a deep trust that His Word is at work, and that is a solid hope. It is not wrong to rest in the promise that the seed, once planted, does not return empty. But when all the Scripture is laid out, we must also ask whether the heart in question has actually received that seed. The gospel is not merely a set of truths to ponder. It is a summons to bow before Jesus Christ as Lord, confessing Him with the mouth and believing in the heart that God raised Him from the dead. Is there a true confession there yet? Or is this soul still holding back?

God's kindness is indeed meant to lead to repentance. But repentance is not a vague sorrow or a fleeting acknowledgment of being wrong. It is change from the inside out. Real repentance shows its fruit. Without a work of the Spirit that rends the heart and not just the garments, the problem is only postponed. You have prayed about humbling and restoring, and rightly so, because pride must be broken. Yet we must also ask if the one you are praying for has merely been pressed into a narrow place by sorrow and regret, or whether her heart itself has been changed. Sadness can make the countenance better for a season, but only a new heart brings salvation.

Do not let the language of process become a comfort that delays the crisis. The Scriptures you have cited carry an urgency. Paul cries out, "Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." Today is the day. Every person who has perished did so by passing God's final appointment. It is not unkind to say this plainly. True love for a soul will not simply wait and water indefinitely while assuming the work is already done. It will call for a decision. There is a difference between a heart that is struggling to obey a Lord it already loves, and a heart that is still running its own life while occasionally feeling the pricks of conviction.

Search your own heart too. Are there idols in your own affections, even in this matter, that need to be surrendered? It is right to ask God to search you and know your heart. Do not be found judging others while excusing the same root of sin in yourself, maybe in a slightly different form. And as you pray, be prepared for God to change you in the very act of praying. He often reshapes our desires to align with His will. The Spirit works in us both to will and to do His good pleasure. But for the one you bring before the throne, the plea must be crystal clear: that she would not just see the truth, but submit to the Lord who is Salvation, Jesus Christ Himself. There is no other name. There is no other way for that heart to be freed from its narrow place and truly enlarged.
