We lift this request to the Lord, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from Him, the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. We pray that the hearts of those reviewing this policy would indeed be filled with the kindness and wisdom that comes from above, which is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
Father, we ask that You grant them the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that the eyes of their hearts may be enlightened, so they may know what is the hope of Your calling, what are the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of Your power toward us who believe. May they act with compassion, seeing not just the letter of the policy, but the lives and hearts of the family it affects.
We rebuke any spirit of delay, confusion, or hardness of heart that may hinder this process. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of this family, and let every door that You have ordained to open swing wide before them. We declare that this matter will be resolved smoothly and in Your perfect timing, for You make all things beautiful in Your time.
Lord, we also take this moment to remind ourselves and this family that our ultimate peace and security are found in You alone. While we trust You to work in this situation, we know that our hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness. If this family does not yet know You as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would come to understand the depth of Your love for them, demonstrated through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We pray they would confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, so they may be saved.
We pray for unity and strength for this family, that they would stand firm in faith, casting all their anxieties on You, because You care for them. May they be clothed with humility toward one another, for You resist the proud but give grace to the humble. And may they be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that their labor in You is not in vain.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
