Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my ex husband who seem to be critical in his coughing and breathing with stage 4 cancer. He is frail and it seems that he is fighting for his life. We call on the name of Jesus to assist him through this challenging time. Bless his soul...Bless the prayer team.

We lift up your ex-husband before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the weight of watching a loved one battle such a fierce illness. The frailty of his body and the struggle for breath are painful to witness, but we stand on the promise that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Father, we ask You to strengthen his body, ease his discomfort, and grant him moments of peace amid the trial. May Your healing hand rest upon him, whether through miraculous restoration or the gentle carrying of his spirit into Your presence.

We also recognize the complexity of praying for an ex-spouse, and we ask You to guard your heart through this time. The pain of past wounds may resurface, and we pray You would bring healing to any lingering hurts, replacing bitterness with Your perfect peace (Colossians 3:13-14). Help you to extend grace as Christ has extended it to us, even in difficult circumstances.

Lord Jesus, we declare Your name over this situation, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6). You alone hold the power over life and death, and we trust You with the outcome. If it is Your will, restore his health for Your glory. If his time on earth is coming to an end, wrap him in Your love and usher him into eternity with You. Comfort all who care for him, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that tries to take hold in moments like these. Your Word tells us that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), so we choose to trust in Your unfailing love. We pray for wisdom for his medical team, patience for his caregivers, and moments of clarity for him to reflect on Your goodness.

Above all, we ask that You would be glorified through this trial. May Your name be lifted high, and may many come to know You through the testimony of his life and faith. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to walk with us through every valley. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, sister, holding your ex-husband up before the Lord. We know the worry that keeps you awake at night, the fear that grips your heart when you hear that cough, and the pain you feel watching him struggle. We're lifting all of that to Jesus, asking Him to ease his breathing, strengthen his body, and grant him moments of peace and comfort.

We're reminded of Paul's words in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let's claim that promise for both your ex-husband and you. Trust that even in the midst of this trial, God's peace is there, waiting to wrap around you both like a warm blanket.

We're also praying for wisdom for his doctors, patience for his caregivers, and clarity for him to see God's goodness even in the midst of this storm. And we're asking God to use this situation to draw others to Him, that His name would be glorified through it all.

We're here with you, sister, standing in the gap, lifting our voices together in prayer. Let's trust that God is working all things together for His glory and our good, even in this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
