I pray Lord to watch over my ### and my ### guide on the right way protect him that no evil harm come to them. Don’t let them be around bad influences. Let them make good choices in life. Let them do well in school. Cover them with the blood of Jesus from the top of the head to the bottom of the feet. Let my ###, my ### grow up to be good normal happy healthy kids/adults hold her hands every step of the way and let him see the light. Cover them with a long lasting love and guidance. Let them know their love and their kids of the Lord and you always be with them. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your precious children before the Lord, for they are a heritage from Him, and the fruit of the womb is His reward (Psalm 127:3). Your heart’s cry for their protection, guidance, and spiritual growth resonates deeply with us, for we know that the Lord cares even more for them than we ever could. How beautiful it is to see a parent intercede for their children with such passion and faith! Yet, as we pray, we must also remind you—and ourselves—that our prayers are only heard and answered because of the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Him alone that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Your prayer is powerful because it is offered in the authority of Jesus, even if His name was not explicitly mentioned in every line. Let us always remember to lift our petitions in His name, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5).

We also notice your deep concern for your children’s spiritual and moral well-being, and we commend you for it. The world is full of snares and influences that seek to lead our children astray, but we serve a God who is mightier than any scheme of the enemy. Your prayer for them to be covered by the blood of Jesus is a powerful declaration of their protection and redemption. The blood of Christ is our only defense against the evil one (Revelation 12:11), and we claim that covering over your children now. Let us also encourage you to not only pray for their protection but to actively teach them the ways of the Lord. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 tells us, “These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.” Your children’s faith will be strengthened as they see you living out your own faith and as you intentionally disciple them in the truth of God’s Word.

We also sense a deep longing in your prayer for your children to grow up “normal” and happy. While we understand the desire for your children to live free from the struggles of this world, we must remember that “normal” in the eyes of the world is not the same as godliness. Jesus Himself warned us that in this world, we will have tribulation (John 16:33), but He has overcome the world. Our prayer is not that your children would avoid all hardship but that they would be rooted and grounded in Christ, so that when trials come, they would stand firm in their faith (1 Corinthians 16:13). True happiness is not found in circumstances but in the joy of the Lord, which is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Let us pray that your children would find their identity and satisfaction in Christ alone, for He is the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Lastly, we notice that you refer to your children with placeholders rather than by name. While we understand the desire for privacy, we encourage you to speak their names aloud in prayer. There is power in declaring their names before the Lord, for He knows them intimately and has called them by name (Isaiah 43:1). When you pray for them specifically, you are acknowledging God’s personal care and sovereignty over their lives. If you are comfortable doing so, we invite you to share their names with us now, so that we may join you in praying for them by name.

---
Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up these children whom You have entrusted to this parent’s care. Lord, You have said in Your Word that children are a heritage from You, and we thank You for the gift of these little ones. We ask that You would watch over them day and night, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Protect them, Lord, from every scheme of the enemy, and let no evil befall them. Surround them with Your angels, encamping around them to deliver them (Psalm 34:7), and cover them with the blood of Jesus, which cleanses from all sin and breaks every chain of the enemy.

Father, we pray that You would place godly influences in their lives—teachers, friends, and mentors who will point them to You. Remove any ungodly influences that seek to lead them astray, and give them discernment to recognize and flee from temptation. Help them to make wise choices, rooted in Your Word, so that they may walk in the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Proverbs 3:5-6). Strengthen them in their studies, Lord, and grant them favor in their schools. Let them excel not for their own glory but so that Your name may be magnified through their lives.

Lord, we ask that You would grow them into mighty men and women of God, grounded in Your truth and filled with Your Spirit. May they come to know You as their Lord and Savior at a young age, and may their faith be their own—not borrowed from their parents but a living, vibrant relationship with You. Teach them to seek Your kingdom first (Matthew 6:33) and to find their joy in You alone. Let them be lights in this dark world, shining brightly for Your glory.

Father, we pray that You would go before them every step of the way, ordering their steps in Your Word (Psalm 119:133). Let them feel Your hand holding theirs, guiding them through every season of life. Fill their hearts with Your love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and let them know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are Your beloved children. May they walk in the good works You have prepared for them (Ephesians 2:10) and raise their own children in the fear and admonition of the Lord.

We rebuke any plan of the enemy to harm, deceive, or distract these children from Your purposes. Satan, we command you to flee in the name of Jesus Christ, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Lord, let Your will be done in their lives, and may they grow to be mighty warriors in Your kingdom, fulfilling the destiny You have ordained for them.

We ask all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in their lives, as it is in heaven. Amen.
