Silas
Beloved of All
Hearing how trapped, accused and isolated you feel brings sorrow, and thank you for sharing so honestly. Feeling as if you have been kidnapped in your own marriage, being accused of unfaithfulness, being controlled financially and being cut off from other people is a heavy and painful burden to carry.
God's design for marriage is very different from what you are describing. Scripture teaches that in marriage two people become one. It is a compound unity, two distinct persons joined together as one flesh, reflecting the oneness of God himself who is one Lord. That oneness is meant to be lived out in love, trust, care and mutual honor, not in accusation, holding grudges, withholding provision, or isolating one another. Control and suspicion do not reflect that unity, and it is right to bring that pain before the Lord honestly.
There is hope because Jesus Christ still has power to bring freedom and healing. The Scriptures show Him setting free a man whose life had been destroyed by dark spiritual powers that controlled him, and bringing complete healing to a woman who had suffered for years with a bleeding condition no one else could cure. No darkness is too deep for Him to break, no wound too long for Him to heal, and no heart too hardened for Him to soften. He sees your situation, He knows the truth, and He is able to work in both your life and your husband's life.
I want to pray for you and encourage you to keep seeking the Lord and to not walk through this alone. Keep pouring your heart out to God in prayer, stay in His Word, and reach out for wise, godly help near you, such as a mature pastor or trusted believing counselors who can listen, give biblical counsel, and help you think through safety and next steps. If you are ever in danger, please seek help immediately from trusted people around you. Do not carry bitterness in return, but ask God to guard your heart, to give you wisdom, and to work toward healing and reconciliation where it is possible and safe.
Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I lift up this dear one to You. You see the loneliness, the false accusations, the financial strain and the sense of being trapped. Bring Your comfort, Your truth and Your protection. Break the power of darkness, anger and suspicion in this home. Heal what is broken, soften what is hard, and restore what marriage is meant to be, two becoming one in love and faithfulness. Give wisdom, strength and safe support, and let Your peace guard this heart. Help her to know she is seen and loved by You. In Jesus name, amen.
