We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the light and truth You have given us through Your Word and the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, guiding us through the darkness of this world. We acknowledge that it is only by the blood of Jesus that we have access to You, Father, and it is through His name alone that we are saved. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the faith You have placed in our hearts, a faith that cleanses us from all sin and makes us whole through the power of Christ’s sacrifice.

We stand together in agreement, lifting up this earnest plea for protection from deception, which is so prevalent in these last days. The enemy, the father of lies, seeks to lead many astray with false signs, wonders, and doctrines that oppose Your truth (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10). We ask that You guard our hearts and minds, keeping us rooted in Your Word, which is truth (John 17:17). Sanctify us by Your truth, for Your Word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit (Hebrews 4:12). Let us not be swayed by the cunning craftiness of those who would deceive, but let us grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).

We recognize that the tools You have given us to stand firm are the Word, prayer, preaching, teaching, fellowship, praise, worship, and thanksgiving. These are not mere activities but the very means by which Your Spirit strengthens and equips us. Your Word is our foundation, prayer our lifeline, preaching and teaching our instruction, fellowship our encouragement, and praise, worship, and thanksgiving our offering of love and devotion to You. Let us not neglect these gifts, for they are our armor against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). We ask that You fill us with discernment to test every spirit, to hold fast to what is good, and to abstain from every form of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:21-22).

Father, we pray for contentment in all circumstances, knowing that godliness with contentment is great gain (1 Timothy 6:6). Guard us from the love of money and the greed that so easily entangles, for the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10). Let us be satisfied with what we have, for You have said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). May we seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33).

We lift up Your Bride, the Church, asking that she walk in the light as You are in the light, having fellowship with one another, and that the blood of Jesus Your Son cleanses her from all sin (1 John 1:7). Help us to make ourselves ready for the return of Christ, clothed in fine linen, bright and clean, which is the righteous acts of the saints (Revelation 19:7-8). Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Perfect that which concerns us, for You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in us (Philippians 1:6).

We pray for protection from all forms of deception, especially the deception of false believers and deceivers who creep into households and capture weak souls (2 Timothy 3:6). Let us not be like the simple who believe every word, but let us be wise, testing the spirits to see whether they are from You (1 John 4:1). Keep us from the dragon’s flood of false doctrine and persecution that seeks to sweep away the truth (Revelation 12:15). We ask that You restrain the mystery of lawlessness until the proper time, and that godly government would rise up to punish evil and protect the innocent (Romans 13:1-4).

Lord, we pray for strength to stand firm in these last days, to be alert and watchful, for we do not know the day or the hour of Your return (Mark 13:33). Give us the grace to escape all that is coming and to stand before the Son of Man (Luke 21:36). Reveal the man of lawlessness, the antichrist, and let him be consumed by the breath of Your mouth and destroyed by the splendor of Your coming (2 Thessalonians 2:8). Guard the saints from buying into his system of deception, and let the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet be thrown into the lake of fire forever (Revelation 20:10).

Instill in us a holy fear of You, for the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). Let this fear compel us to live righteously, to persuade others to prepare for the Judgment Seat of Christ, where each of us will give an account of ourselves to You (2 Corinthians 5:10). Help us to be wise, winning souls for Your kingdom (Proverbs 11:30), leading many to righteousness, and instructing others in Your ways (Daniel 12:3; Malachi 2:6). Let us fulfill the Great Commission, teaching all nations to observe all that You have commanded (Matthew 28:19-20).

We offer these prayers with thanksgiving, not only for ourselves but for our families, friends, church members, pastors, and all who join us in prayer. Let us not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, but encourage one another all the more as we see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:25). May we have fellowship with one another, walking in the light and confessing our sins so that we may be cleansed from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7, 9). Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We seal these prayers with the promise that all Your promises are “Yes” and “Amen” in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20). May we be found faithful when He comes, without spot or blemish, holy and blameless before You (Ephesians 5:27). Strengthen us to run with endurance the race set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:1-2). To You be the glory, honor, and power forever and ever. Amen.

We were encouraged reading your prayer for protection from deception and for a life that walks in the light. Your love for Jesus and your care for family, friends, pastors and fellow believers comes through so clearly, and we want to join you in bringing these desires to the Lord.

That longing to be kept from lies and to grow in holiness is a humble and good one. We have found God often guards us not only in private devotion but in steady life together, hearing the Word taught faithfully, praying honestly, worshiping with thanksgiving, and having trusted brothers and sisters who can help us test what we hear and see its fruit over time. Staying close to Christ and close to His people keeps us from trying to sort through confusion alone.

One simple next step that may help is to keep leaning into the very means you named. Keep a regular rhythm in the Word and prayer, and when a teaching or impression unsettles you, bring it into the light with a pastor or mature believer you trust and talk it through together. That kind of steady, shared walk gives room for clarity and peace to grow.

Father, we lift this one and all those they love to You. Keep them from deception and from the evil one, sanctify them in Your truth, and give them contentment, discernment and strength to stay alert and faithful. Lead them step by step on Your path and perfect what concerns them as You continue Your good work in them. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been laid before the Lord with thanksgiving, and we have made it our own before the throne of grace. You have asked well, for you have asked for that which God delights to give, even holiness and truth and preservation from deception.

You pray to be kept from deception, and rightly so, for the deceiver goes about with lying wonders and all deceivableness of unrighteousness, and the dragon still spews his flood of false doctrine across the world. Against this there is but one safeguard. Holy Scripture is the standard of the Truth of God. To the law and to the testimony, if they speak not according to this Word, it is because there is no truth in them. Your Word is Truth. Buy the truth at any price and sell it at no price. Buy it though it cost you all you have, and hold it fast, for you will never be received by God at last unless you bring the truth in your right hand.

You ask to be guarded by the Word, by prayer, by preaching, teaching, fellowship, praise and thanksgiving, and in this you ask according to the mind of God. Sanctify us in Your truth, Your Word is truth. It is by Christ's washing of water by the Word that we are cleansed. Let the Word dwell in you richly, hide it in your heart that you might not sin against Him, test the spirits by it, and walk in the light as He is in the light.

You have pleaded that holiness without which no one shall see the Lord, and you have done well to plead thus, for it is written, without holiness no one shall see the Lord. We are to follow holiness, that must be practical holiness, the opposite of impurity, as it is written, God has not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. This is not a mere moral propriety which skims the surface. Morality may be admired among men, yet holiness deals with the thoughts and intents, the purposes, the aims, the motives. Holiness requires that the heart shall be set on God and that it shall beat with love to Him. It is not perfection of holiness that is demanded for communion, for no one who knows his own heart pretends to be perfectly conformed to God's will, but holiness itself, personal, active, vital holiness, wrought in us by grace.

And take comfort, for this holiness is not kept by your own power. He who begins a good work will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ. He perfects that which concerns us. Hear the promise of the unchanging God of the covenant, I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me. There it stands, they shall not depart from me. This perseverance of the saints is perseverance in holiness. If the grace of God has really changed you, you are radically and lastingly changed. He will not turn away from you to do you good.

Holiness may be divided thus, it has its negative side, separation from the world. There may be morality, but there can be no holiness in a worldling. Are you as different from the world as a Jew is from a Gentile. And holiness consists very largely in consecration. The holy vessels were holy because they were dedicated to God. Even so, you are to be dedicated to God, and special communion with the Lord creates special holiness. God's presence demands and creates holiness. We cannot be holy at a distance from God. We must dwell in God and God must dwell in us.

Therefore keep on in the means you have named. Continue in the Word, continue instant in prayer, give heed to faithful preaching and teaching, forsake not the assembling of yourselves together, and abound in praise and thanksgiving. Watch and stay on the alert, for the warfare of truth waxes hot and fierce. Heroes of truth, soldiers of Christ, awake. Take your swords from your scabbards, even the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.

We join you in praying that the Lord would keep you from sin and from entering into temptation, that He would keep you from the evil one, that He would restrain evil and reveal and slay the man of sin in His time, that He would grant you contentment and keep you on the path of increasing clarity which shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day, and that knowing the fear of the Lord you may persuade men and win souls and lead many to righteousness.

May the peace of God guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and may He who has called you make you ready as a bride adorned for her husband, perfecting holiness in the fear of the Lord. We commend you, your family, your friends, your pastors and all the praying fellowship to Him who is able to keep you from falling. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for protection from deception is good and right before God, and we join you in bringing it to the Father with thanksgiving.

We thank Him with you for sending His light and truth to lead us, for revealing Christ to us not by our own wisdom but by His grace, for faith in the blood of Jesus His Son which cleanses us from all sin, and for the wounds of Christ by which we are healed and made whole. These are great gifts, and it is fitting to remember them with praise and worship and thanksgiving.

We agree with you in asking that the Lord keep you and all who belong to Him from deception and lies, from the working of the enemy who deceives the whole world, from greed and the love of money, and from every false way. We ask Him to grant contentment and to keep your hearts satisfied in Christ. We pray that He will cause His Bride to walk in the light as He is in the light, to make herself ready, and to be kept from sin and from entering into temptation, kept from the evil one and kept on the path that grows brighter to the full day.

We ask that He guard you by His appointed means. By the Word, for His Word is truth and He sanctifies us in the truth, washing us with the water of the Word. By prayer, with alertness and perseverance. By faithful preaching and sound teaching, so that no other doctrine is received. By fellowship with the saints, as you continue not forsaking assembling together, testing the spirits, walking in the light without hidden sin, and encouraging one another. And by praise and thanksgiving that keeps the heart fixed on Him. In this way the Lord restrains evil, exposes what is false, and trains His people to discern good and evil.

Remember that the deceiver works not only through open enemies but also through false brethren and deceitful workers who transform themselves, and through doctrines that deny the freedom God has given us and would make evil seem to be of nature. These are poisons of the devil, and they are overcome not only by right belief but by a pure life and bright conduct. For though we have faith and knowledge of the Scriptures, without holy living there is no protection, and we would be left without defense. The Lord does not only promise deliverance from death but teaches us to despise sin and death itself, planting in us the doctrine of immortality and calling us to live accordingly.

Therefore we pray that you will be kept on the alert and given strength to stand before the Son of Man, that the lawless one will be revealed and brought to nothing by the Lord, that you will be guarded from receiving his system and his lies, and that the dragon's false doctrine and persecution will be restrained. We pray that godly order will restrain evil as God intends, and most of all that the fear of the Lord will be upon you, that you will be made holy without which no one will see the Lord, that the pure in heart will see God, and that coming out and being separate you will perfect holiness in the fear of God.

We pray also that knowing the fear of the Lord you will persuade others, be wise and win souls, lead many to righteousness and instruct many in His ways. May He who began a good work in you bring it to completion, perfect that which concerns you, and increase you in clarity and in the knowledge of His will.

We offer these requests for you, for your family and friends, for your church and pastors, and for all believers who pray with you, that you may have true fellowship and that the peace of God will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Amen.
