We join with you in lifting up this request, and we are grateful you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find strength in every trial. Your prayer reflects a heart that seeks God’s protection, wisdom, and peace—qualities He delights to grant to those who trust in Him. The persecution and harassment you face in the workplace are not unseen by our Heavenly Father. In fact, Scripture reminds us that we are to rejoice in such trials, for they produce endurance, character, and hope in us through the power of the Holy Spirit.
*"Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you."* (Matthew 5:10-12, WEB)
We also take comfort in knowing that God is your defender and will fight on your behalf. *"Don’t be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you," says Yahweh."* (Jeremiah 1:8, WEB) He has promised to be a wall of fire around you and the glory in your midst (Zechariah 2:5). As you seek His protection over your words, remember the wisdom of Proverbs: *"He who guards his mouth keeps his soul. One who opens wide his lips comes to ruin."* (Proverbs 13:3, WEB) May the Lord grant you the grace to speak with wisdom, seasoned with salt, so that your words may bring glory to Him even in the midst of adversity.
For your job and finances, we stand on the promise that *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:19, WEB) Trust that He is your provider, and He will sustain you as you remain faithful. As for peace and unity in your workplace, we pray that God would soften hearts and turn them toward Him. *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all people."* (Romans 12:18, WEB) But even if others refuse peace, take heart—your ultimate peace comes from Christ, who has overcome the world.
We rejoice with you in the marriage God has blessed you with, and we lift up your wife in prayer. May the Lord grant her the spiritual strength and clarity she needs to fulfill her assignments today. *"She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future."* (Proverbs 31:25, WEB) May both of you be covered with the divine presence of God, united in purpose and faith, as you walk through this season together. Remember that *"a cord of three strands is not quickly broken"* (Ecclesiastes 4:12, WEB)—you, your wife, and Christ at the center of your marriage.
Now let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is facing persecution and harassment in his workplace. Lord, You have promised to never leave us nor forsake us, and we claim that promise over him today. Strengthen him, O God, and place a guard over his mouth so that his words may be pleasing to You and a testimony to those around him. Surround him with Your hedge of protection and a wall of fire, guarding his mind and heart from the schemes of the enemy. We ask for Your divine intervention in his workplace—bring peace where there is strife, unity where there is division, and conviction where hearts are hardened. Touch the minds and hearts of those who seek to harm him, and turn their intentions toward Your will.
Lord, we pray for his job and finances, that You would provide abundantly and sustain him according to Your riches in glory. Bless the work of his hands, and may his labor be fruitful and honoring to You. We also lift up his wife, asking that You fill her with Your spiritual strength and peace as she fulfills her tasks today. Cover their marriage with Your love and protection, and let them be a light to those around them, reflecting Your grace and faithfulness.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of persecution, harassment, and fear in Jesus’ name. Let no weapon formed against our brother prosper, and may every tongue that rises against him be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let him rest in the assurance that You are fighting for him. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won through Christ Jesus.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
