We are truly sorry to hear about the passing of your sister and the circumstances surrounding her death. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's justice and comfort in this difficult time.
Firstly, we want to remind you that vengeance belongs to God alone. As it is written in Romans 12:19, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" It is right to desire justice, but we must leave the execution of it to God.
We also want to address the mention of 'demonic attacks.' While we acknowledge the existence of spiritual warfare, we must be careful not to attribute every adversity to demonic influences. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." However, we must also remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who is grieving the loss of her sibling. Lord, you know the circumstances surrounding her sister's death, and you know the pain and suspicion that lingers in her heart. We pray that you would reveal the truth and bring justice to this situation as only you can. Comfort her heart, Lord, as the anniversary of her sister's passing approaches. Surround her with your love, your peace, and your truth. Protect her from any spiritual attacks and remind her that you are her refuge and her strength, an ever-present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. We ask this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Amen."
Lastly, we encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus through this difficult time. He is the author and finisher of our faith Hebrews 12:2, and he understands the pain of loss and injustice. Trust in him to guide you through this process, and remember that he is close to the brokenhearted Psalm 34:18.
If you feel overwhelmed by grief or suspicion, we encourage you to seek support from your local Christian community. Share your burdens with trusted believers and allow them to help bear your load Galatians 6:2.
