Justice for ###

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for ###. He is in court tomorrow. Ask God for wisdom for the judge, for the truth to come fully into the light, for courage and peace for ###, and for protection and justice for everyone involved, especially the little one. Pray strength and calm for his family as they wait. In Jesus’ name. Thank you for standing with us.

We join you in lifting this heavy burden to the throne of grace and we stand with you in prayer for tomorrow's court proceedings.

We thank you for asking in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and confidence that He hears us. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 and In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

Our hearts cry out for true justice, for we know the Lord loves justice and will not forsake His faithful ones Psalm 37:28. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne Psalm 89:14. We pray that justice would roll on like rivers and righteousness like a mighty stream Amos 5:24, and that the judge would be granted divine wisdom. We ask God to give the judge an understanding heart to discern between good and evil 1 Kings 3:9, for If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5.

We pray earnestly that the truth will fully come into the light, for there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light Luke 8:17 and You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:32. We ask the Lord who sees all and judges righteously to bring every hidden thing into the open and to let no lie stand.

We lift up your loved one who will stand before the court. We pray the Lord will grant him courage, peace, and a calm spirit. We ask that he will not be anxious, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let his requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and his thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We pray he will remember Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We especially intercede for the little one and for protection and justice for everyone involved. Jesus said Allow the little children to come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these Matthew 19:14 and we know their angels in heaven always see the face of our Father Matthew 18:10. We ask God to place His hand of protection over this child and to let His perfect justice and mercy prevail. We pray the Lord will be near to all who are brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18.

We also pray for strength and calm for the family as they wait. We ask God to renew their strength as they wait on Him Isaiah 40:31 and to remind them that He gives power to the weak and to him who has no might He increases strength Isaiah 40:29. May they cast all their anxiety on Him, because He cares for them 1 Peter 5:7.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord, You are the Judge of all the earth who does what is right. We ask You to preside over that courtroom tomorrow. Grant the judge wisdom, clarity, and impartiality, that he may judge with righteous judgment John 7:24. Let no bribe, bias, or confusion cloud the proceedings, but let truth shine brightly. Lord, expose every lie and establish every truth. We ask for Your peace to guard our brother's heart and mind, give him courage to speak truthfully and grace to remain calm under pressure. Place Your shield around the little one, keep this child safe in Your arms, and let Your justice and protection be fully realized. Comfort and strengthen the family as they wait, fill them with a peace that surpasses understanding, and help them to trust that You are working all things for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. We entrust this entire matter into Your sovereign and loving hands. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We will continue to stand with you, trusting that the Lord will act according to His perfect will and that His justice will not fail.

We are with you in this long wait before tomorrow. We can hear how much you love and how much you want truth to be seen and the little one to be safe, and we are carrying all of that with you before the Lord.

Court days bring a lot of helplessness because so much is out of your hands. It helps to have a simple plan for the hours of waiting. If you can tonight, decide who will sit with you tomorrow, how you will get updates, and when you will step away for a short walk or a glass of water. Having one or two trusted people nearby can keep you from carrying the vigil alone.

We are praying for the judge to have clear wisdom, for what is true to be made plain in that room, for to have steady courage and a calm mind, and for protection over the little one and everyone involved. We are also asking for quiet strength for you and the family as you wait.

Father, we lift , the little one, the family, and the judge to You. Give wisdom where decisions are made, let truth come into the light, guard the little one, and give peace and courage. Sustain this family with Your calm through tomorrow and the days after. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have taken your request to the throne of grace and we join you in earnest prayer before our heavenly Father.

We ask the Lord, who is the God of perfect justice and the God of peace, to be present in that courtroom tomorrow. We pray that He will grant true wisdom to the judge, that every matter hidden may be brought fully into the light, for there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed. We ask that truth may be spoken clearly and weighed righteously, and that justice, unimpeachable and holy justice, may be done for all who are concerned.

We pray for ###, that the Lord will grant him courage and a calm heart in this time of trial. May his mind be stayed upon Christ, for it is written, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. That peace is not the false peace of this world, but the peace which Jesus purchased with His own blood, the peace which He gives to His people. May the blood of Jesus whisper peace within, even while duties press and sorrows surge round. We pray that he may know that peace which is a present possession, to do the will of Jesus and there to find rest.

We pray especially for the little one, that the Lord who keepeth His people and their loved ones would spread His hand of protection over that tender life. In Jesus keeping we are safe, and they are safe. May the Lord guard and keep that child from all harm.

We remember also the family as they wait. Trial does not last forever, there is an until in the purpose of God, and He appoints the measure and the continuance of trial. May the Lord grant them strength and calm, a quieted soul like a weaned child, content to leave all in the Father's hands. May they cast every new burden upon the Lord, for He has promised to bless His people with peace, and His peace is boundless, renewed as often as we seek it.

We pray all these things not upon any merit of our own, but through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no peace with God except by Him, and no other name whereby we can be saved or heard. May the Lord hear, may He answer according to His perfect will, and may He be glorified in granting justice with mercy and peace through believing.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer, asking these mercies in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

We join you in bringing this need before the Lord as the day in court approaches, asking Him who is the true and righteous Judge to be present in that room.

Just as I am stressed and hurting right now, I pray that ### also realizes the pain I am going through. Until he treats me the way he used to and sincerely apologizes for his mistakes, I will continue praying every day for justice and for him to understand the consequences of his actions.
