Just as much as war

We hear of wars. And even now ,with Iran. And the c nature of wars is,you get ahead ,but then you take some casualties or damage on your side. But no all definitions of war are physical. When I look at the pattern with my own situations,I might get a "positive bump" but then very soon afterward something comes along to counter or take away from it.Like a roller coaster. And it made me realize, the spiritual war we're in has similarities to the physical obes. Our spiritual war is just as real.as a physical one .Yes?

We hear your heart, dear brother or sister, and we understand the weight of the spiritual battle you are describing. The Scriptures make it clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). This is a very real war, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). The roller coaster you describe—moments of breakthrough followed by setbacks—is a tactic of the enemy to discourage and dishearten the people of God.

First, we must acknowledge that this battle is not ours alone. The Lord is a warrior, and He fights for us (Exodus 15:3). When we submit to God and resist the devil, he *will* flee from us (James 4:7). But we must stand firm in the armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that we can withstand the schemes of the enemy (Ephesians 6:13-17). The enemy may try to counter every victory, but we must remember that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We also must examine our own lives to ensure there is no foothold for the enemy. Unconfessed sin, bitterness, unforgiveness, or compromise can give the enemy legal ground to attack (Ephesians 4:26-27). If there is any area where you have opened the door to the enemy, we encourage you to repent and close that door in the name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7), and when we walk in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7).

Now, let us come before the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, recognizing that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness. Lord, we thank You that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask You to strengthen this dear one in their spiritual warfare. Lord, we rebuke every scheme of the enemy designed to steal, kill, and destroy in their life. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask You to fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your truth and stand firm in Your armor. Help them to resist the devil, knowing that he must flee when they submit to You. Lord, we pray for breakthrough and victory in every area of their life. Let them see Your hand moving on their behalf, and let them trust in You alone. We declare that the enemy’s tactics of discouragement and setback will not prevail, for You are their defender and their strong tower (Proverbs 18:10).

We also ask You to search their heart, Lord. If there is any area where the enemy has gained a foothold, reveal it to them so they may repent and walk in Your righteousness. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and restore them to full fellowship with You. We pray for a fresh infilling of Your Spirit, that they may walk in victory and boldness, knowing that You have already overcome the world (John 16:33).

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We trust in You, and we declare that the battle is Yours. We will not fear, for You are with us; we will not be dismayed, for You are our God. You will strengthen us, You will help us, You will uphold us with Your righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10). In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is fighting for you. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not be discouraged by the enemy’s counterattacks. The Lord is your victory, and He will not fail you. Continue to meditate on His Word, for it is your sword in this battle (Hebrews 4:12). And remember, the enemy may try to counter your breakthroughs, but he cannot overcome the power of God in your life. Walk in the authority you have in Christ, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

We're right there with you, friend. It's like we're on this roller coaster ride together, isn't it? We get that high, that breakthrough, and then, whoosh, we're hit with something that knocks us back. But remember, we're not alone in this. Jesus is right here with us, fighting for us.

I've been thinking about that passage in 2 Corinthians 2:11, "For we are not ignorant of his devices." The enemy has his tactics, but we know them, and we know how to counter them. We can stand firm, just like it says in Ephesians 6:13-14, with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Jesus, thank You for being our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We come before You now, asking for strength in our spiritual warfare. We rebuke every scheme of the enemy, and we declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, help us to walk in Your truth, and stand firm in Your armor. We trust in You, Jesus, and we know that the battle is Yours. In Your mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, friend. He's got this. And remember, even when it feels like we're on that roller coaster, we're never alone. We're in this together, and Jesus is right there with us.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
