Beloved Warrior
🙇🏻 Father, thank You "through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures 📖 we have hope," Rom 15:4. "Is anyone among you suffering? let them pray," James 5:13. Jesus taught entire parables in to the end that, "we ought always to pray and not lose heart," Luke 18:1. So we, in faith and fervent sincerity, entreat You: "You who spared not Your Only Begotten Son, John 3:16, but delivered Him up for us all, how will You along with Him not graciously give us all things?" Rom 8:32. Renew our minds, speech and conduct to where we surrender to and comprehend the end goal of Your wisdom revealed through the multitude of inspired counselors to rejoice, have courage and be glad in tribulations, Matthew 5:11-12, John 16:33, Acts 5:41, Rom 5:3, Rom 8:18, 2 Cor 4:17, Heb 12:10-11, James 1:2-4, 1 Peter 4:12-13, Rev 2:10-11. Help us study to show ourselves approved, 2 Tim 2:15, meet pressing needs, read, listen to and receive wisdom from good biblical counseling material and the godly advice of friends and pastors, Ps 23:3, write and share prayers and teachings that benefit ourselves and others -- and may trials not hinder, but rather advance The Gospel and strengthen The Kingdom of Jesus, 2 Cor 4:11-13, 1 Thes 2:2. So kindly let our disposition be of that motivation, assisting You as Your Bride, Gen 2:17-18, helping it spread with power, love and full conviction and be received as it is -- the actual Word of God, the power of God for salvation, not coming from man, Gal 1:12, Rom 1:16, 2 Thes 2:13, not to us but Your Name be Glory, Ps 115:1, Eph 2:8-9.

Give Your angels charge over my son, his mother, us, our pastors and all of our prayer partners (including all our family members, friends and those You've ordained for us to reach, Eph 2:10-11), even angelic protection until we behold Your salvation, Ps 91:11-16, Heb 1:14. Sanctify us in the Truth, Your Word is Truth, John 17:17. May we clearly hear Your voice, John 10:27, being constantly led by The Holy Spirit (as adopted children with the same Father as Jesus and each other), Rom 8:14, and MOSTLY obeying Your voice, even if it's difficult or costs us something, Gen 22:16-18; 2 Sam 24:24. Keep us all from all sin, Zeph 3:13, temptation, evil, evil people and the evil one, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, 2 Thes 3:2-3, John 17:15 -- keep deception and lies far from us, Prov 30:8.

Again, allow trials to draw us, our families, friends, readers, prayer and financial partners closer to You in prayer, James 5:13 and literally pray and sing hymns to God after severe treatment and in hostile conditions as the Apostles chained in confinement recorded in Acts 16:25. Help us read, memorize and apply The Bible, Ps 119:11, with understanding, Lk 24:45, and application, James 1:21-22. Help me worship like Paul and Silas in the Philippian jail, Acts 16:25. Help us fast the fast You have chosen, really, by abiding in You Jesus, that we may learn the secret of bearing abiding fruit in each and situation, Phil 4:12-13, for truly apart from You we can do nothing of eternal significance, John 15:5 -- grant grace to abstain from food, eat pulse as Daniel, drink water, take supplements -- to use our spiritual weapons of power to bring down things that can't be brought don otherwise, Mark 4:29, strongholds and lofty thoughts being punished when our obedience is complete, 2 Cor 10:5-7. Loose bondages, set the oppressed free and restore righteous dwellings, safe cities and reformation of covenantal relationships, Isa 58:6-12. Help us count trials as joy, James 1:2-4, as we see these earthy improvements in our lives and the advancement of the Kingdom, as we press on to attain the New Creation, Rev 21:1-6, with You never leaving us or forsaking us through the process, Deut 31:8, Josh 1:5, Matt 28:20, Heb 13:5, and we who overcome will attain all this, Rev 21:7. Thank You in The Amen and faithful witness Name, in whom all the promises are Yes received by faith, John 3:16, John 6:29, Rom 9:16, Rom 9:30-32, Rom 10:2-11, Rom 11:20, Heb 4:2, Heb 13:5, 2 Cor 1:20, in Jesus' Name.

We hear your heartfelt cry and stand with you in agreement, lifting up this beautiful and earnest prayer before the throne of grace. Your words resonate deeply with the truth of Scripture, and we join you in declaring God’s promises over your life, your son, and all those connected to you in prayer and ministry.

The trials you face are not without purpose. As James 1:2-4 reminds us, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." The refining fire of affliction is meant to purify, not destroy, to draw you closer to the heart of God, where true joy is found. We pray that in every hardship, you would not only endure but thrive, knowing that God is working all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).

Your emphasis on prayer, Scripture, and worship is a powerful testimony to the faithfulness of God. The example of Paul and Silas in Acts 16:25, singing hymns in chains, is a profound reminder that no prison, physical or spiritual, can silence the praise of those who trust in the Lord. We pray that your worship would rise like incense before God’s throne, even in the darkest valleys, and that your voice would be heard clearly, as John 10:27 declares: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." May the Holy Spirit lead you into all truth, guiding your steps and guarding your heart from deception.

We also lift up your son and his mother, asking the Lord to surround them with His angels, as Psalm 91:11 promises: "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." May they walk in the fullness of God’s protection, provision, and peace. We pray for unity in your family, that the bonds of love would be strengthened and that any division would be healed by the power of Christ.

Your desire to advance the Kingdom is commendable. The Gospel is indeed the power of God for salvation (Romans 1:16), and we pray that your life, words, and actions would be a living testimony to its truth. May the Lord open doors for you to share His Word with boldness, and may hearts be transformed by the message of hope in Jesus Christ. As 2 Corinthians 4:11-12 states, "For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh. So then death works in us, but life in you." Your trials are not in vain, they are a platform for God’s glory to shine.

We must also address the foundational truth that salvation is found in no other name but Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If there are any reading this who have not surrendered their lives to Jesus, we urge you to turn to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive the gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). Without Jesus, there is no access to the Father, no forgiveness of sins, and no hope of eternal life.

We rebuke every lie of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, or destroy your joy, your faith, or your purpose. The devil has no authority over those who are in Christ, and we stand against his schemes in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church (Matthew 16:18).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and faith, knowing that You are the God who sees, hears, and answers prayer. We thank You for the trials that refine us, the Scriptures that guide us, and the Holy Spirit who empowers us. Lord, we ask that You would strengthen this dear brother/sister in their walk with You. Fill them with Your joy, even in suffering, and let their life be a testament to Your faithfulness.

We pray for their son and his mother, that You would draw them close to You, protect them from harm, and heal any brokenness in their relationship. Surround them with Your angels and let Your peace reign in their hearts. For all those connected to this ministry, family, friends, pastors, and prayer partners, we ask that You would unite them in purpose, guard them from temptation, and fill them with Your wisdom.

Father, we declare that the Gospel will advance through this ministry. Open doors that no man can shut, and let Your Word go forth with power. May lives be transformed, marriages restored, and communities revived by the truth of Your love. We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and discouragement, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name.

Lord, we surrender our plans, our struggles, and our futures to You. Help us to abide in You, as John 15:5 says, for apart from You, we can do nothing. Teach us to fast, pray, and worship in spirit and in truth. Let our lives be a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to You (Romans 12:1).

We thank You for the promise of Revelation 21:7, that those who overcome will inherit all things. Strengthen our faith to press on, knowing that You are with us always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). May Your name be glorified in all we do.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear the depth of longing in your prayer, a heart yearning to see trials not just endured but transformed into something that builds Christ’s Kingdom, and a life steeped in Scripture, worship, and attentive listening to His voice. That kind of wholehearted surrender is rare and beautiful, and the very act of pouring out such a prayer is itself a form of perseverance that Romans 15:4 speaks of.

We stand with you in these petitions, and we especially take to heart your mention of your son, his mother, your pastors, and prayer partners. It’s clear you’re not walking this road alone, and that community is a gift. When the weight feels heavy, don’t hesitate to let them carry it with you, sharing a simple update, asking for a few minutes of focused prayer, or just sitting together over Scripture. Those ordinary moments of mutual care often become the places where joy in trials takes on flesh and blood.

One small, practical way to anchor this season: keep writing out your prayers and the biblical truths you’re clinging to, just as you’ve done here. Not only does it steady your own soul, but those written prayers can become a quiet, powerful ministry to someone else who needs the same hope. You’ve already shown a gift for weaving Scripture into honest cry; that may be one way the Kingdom advances through this very trial.

Father, thank You that You are the God who hears and who never leaves us. Cover this dear one, their son, his mother, and all their prayer partners with Your protection. In the middle of hard days, grant them a taste of the joy that Jesus promised, the deep, unshakeable confidence that You are at work. Help them to hear Your voice clearly and to obey with glad hearts. Let every trial become a doorway for Your grace to reach more people. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer is a sweet-smelling savor, not because of its eloquence, but because it is steeped in the promises of God. You have taken the very words of Scripture and woven them into a cry of faith, and in doing so, you have opened your mouth wide. Now, let not your heart be troubled, believe only. He who cannot lie has said, “I will fill it.” Therefore, expect great things; look for answers as plentiful as the dew upon Hermon. You have asked for joy in tribulation, and it is a blessed request, for when we rejoice in the furnace, the Son of Man walks with us in the flames. Rejoicing evermore is not a suggestion for fair weather alone, but a command for the storm. Count it all joy, not because the trial is light, but because the grace sustaining you is mighty.

You plead for a hearing ear and an obedient heart. This is well, for apart from Christ we can do nothing. Yet remember, He who calls His own sheep by name also holds them in His hand, and none can pluck them out. Your perseverance is not of your own strength, else you would have perished long ago; it is a gift flowing from the covenant of grace. He has put a fear in your heart that you shall not depart from Him. And if at times the path seems dark, and no promise shines upon you, yet cry unto Him still. He has heard the groans of His prisoners before, and He will answer you in the day of trouble. Did He not deliver the slave who followed the pole star of hope? So shall He deliver you. Pray on, and sing hymns even in the inner prison, for He looses bonds and brings forth captives to freedom.

You speak of the advancement of the Kingdom through your trials. That is a noble hope, and it is borne out by the Word. Our light affliction works a far more exceeding weight of glory, and when we are persecuted for righteousness, the very fires become a beacon to draw others to Christ. So reckon not your sufferings as hindrances, but as seed sown in tears to reap a harvest of joy. And when the enemy whispers that there is no hope, whether in your own fainting heart or from the world’s scorn, silence him with this: there is no hope in self, but there is hope, certain hope, in Him who has spoken in His holiness. His Word is your rejoicing, though every friend should vanish like a leaf in autumn.

Finally, let your joy rest not in answered prayers, nor in spirits made subject to you, nor in any temporal relief, but in this solid truth: your name is written in heaven. The blood of the Lamb has enrolled you among the firstborn. This is your title-deed to everlasting bliss, and though earth’s foundations be removed, this covenant stands firm. So continue in prayer, in the study of the doctrines of grace, in fasting as the Spirit leads, and in sharing the wisdom God gives you. The vessel of your life, though battered by waves, is secure in the grip of the Captain of your salvation. He shall bring you to the haven of eternal rest where you shall inherit all things and be His son, His daughter, forever.

You speak of joy in tribulation and the advancement of the Kingdom through trials. Observe the pattern. The Apostle declares of the Macedonians that in much proof of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. He says not merely affliction, but much proof of affliction. And they were not merely afflicted, but so as also to have become approved by their patience. Yet he says not by their patience, but what was more than patience, joy. And neither said he joy simply, but abundance of joy, for it sprang up in them great and unspeakable.

Now why does God permit such trials? That He might show to others and make manifest the fortitude of His athletes. If God tempted Abraham not that He might Himself learn, but that He might show to others and make his fortitude manifest to all, so also here He reveals the cause of trials. He exercises His own athletes even where no occasion exists, that they may not suppose they suffer these things as being forsaken.

You mention Paul and Silas singing hymns in the Philippian jail. See how after they had won admiration by their discourses and performed a notable miracle, thereupon it is that through God’s disposal they enter the lists. They passed from mockery straightway into dangers. And what did they do? They offered up themselves. They showed themselves approved in faith. They displayed much fortitude in their trials, order, goodness, love, in all things both readiness and zeal.

This trial, this joy in affliction, is not for nothing. The Apostle calls those who share his sufferings fellow-workers unto the kingdom of God. So that being partakers of the trials, they become partakers of the kingdom. You speak rightly of the Gospel advancing. For the very fire of affliction makes the approved shine forth. As he said, From you sounded forth the word of the Lord, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place, your faith to God-ward is gone forth.

Now what you ask for yourselves, ###, and all those ordained for you to reach, this is the very thing: that in the time of trial you may have this abundance of joy. It is not possible to obtain the joy of the Kingdom in any other way than by choosing here not what is pleasant but what is profitable, and being willing to be afflicted a little, and bearing all things with thanksgiving. For that joy is simple and undeceiving. It has nothing treacherous nor any admixture. In that joy let us delight ourselves, that let us pursue after.

And this too: God does not need your trials to learn anything. He already knows those who are His. The test is for you and for those who watch you. He makes your fortitude manifest to all. So when you sing in the prison of your circumstances, when you rejoice in much proof of affliction, you are not merely enduring. The doctrine itself and the grace of God you cause to be glorified. This is the Kingdom advancing. Your good is not meat and drink, nor ease, nor freedom from bonds. The Kingdom of God is righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Therefore let this disposition be yours. Count no trial a grief if by it the word runs and is glorified. For the life of a good teacher, and of every faithful soul, is this: that the salvation of our neighbors is our own. When they stand fast, we live. When they advance, we breathe again. The joy of the Kingdom is this: that in much proof of affliction the abundance of joy overflows, and through your steadfastness others see and believe.

Your prayer rises like incense before the throne, soaked in the promises of God Himself. Every verse you cling to is a living stone, and He who hears His children does not turn away. I want to speak directly into the ache that drove you to such desperate, beautiful words, because I have walked through the same shadows.

When the foundations of the earth were laid and the morning stars sang together, no one gave God counsel. The same hand that shut the sea behind doors and wrapped the clouds in swaddling bands now holds your life and your son’s. We do not understand why some trials descend or why they linger until it seems our souls are weary of living. The honest cries of the psalmists and the long silence Job endured show us that confusion is not faithlessness. In those seasons, the Spirit does not shout explanations but draws near with a quieter call: Trust Me. You are not being cast away. Loss and pain are not the final verdict of a displeased Father.

The enemy tempts us with immediate relief, shortcuts that promise joy right now but wither like grass. The joy of the hypocrite is a momentary thrill; the triumph of the wicked is short. But the gladness born from abiding in the Vine, even while stripped of everything, is unspeakable and full of glory. That joy does not come from understanding every reason. It comes from fixing your eyes on the kingdom that is already yours in Christ. One day, when you stand before Him, I doubt any of us will care to waste the ages on “why.” To be in His presence, free from this broken age, will be explanation enough. That long view anchors us when the hours drag on.

You pleaded for trials to advance the gospel, not hinder it. That is the very path of the cross, life out of death, a dying that spreads resurrection to others. When you feel pressed beyond measure, remember that rivers of living water flow from the crushed heart that refuses to let go. What seems like a waste of years is actually the hidden machinery of redemption. Paul and Silas did not know they would shake a prison when they sang at midnight; they only knew Jesus was worth it. So sing in your chains. Fast and pray, not to bargain for relief, but to learn the secret of being content in every state because Christ is your strength. You cannot bear eternal fruit apart from Him, and with Him you cannot be ultimately destroyed.

Keep your son, your household, and all those you named drenched in the Scriptures you already treasure. Teach him by the way you suffer that the promises of God are yes and amen, not because we feel yes, but because the risen Jesus is the guarantee. God gave angels charge over you, and His Spirit inside you is greater than any foe. You will not merely survive this; you will, by grace, overcome. And to the one who overcomes, He gives the right to inherit the new creation, where every tear is wiped away.

One day soon you will see His face with joy. Until then, lean hard on the everlasting arms that do not grow tired. The Lord is not slow; He is the God who redeemed your life from destruction long ago, and He will not leave you now.
